The food was good, calamari was perfectly cooked, I had a calzone and he had a pepperoni pizza and both were really good but the service is what made the place just brilliant! Every server was just amazing at their jobs! Funny, not too fast not too slow and couldn't do enough for you! I was a pain and asked for garlic butter which they didn't do... and yet this server came out with his attempt at garlic butter which was delicious, very happy! Then there's Antonio, what a guy!! Incredibly funny and made you feel like you'd been friends for years! 100% will be back thanks for the incredible staff and atmosphere! Thanks everyone! Also sorry for the half eaten food pic, we were very hungry! 😁

This is a real traditional Italian family run restaurant, the portion size was plentiful and the quality more than I remembered. It was an excellent dinner with friends who all agreed it was exceptional, Fiona a singer from London, Vinod a Chef from India and myself a Gourmet Street food Chef & Hotelier. 100% recommended.

Italian job accommodated us last min. 5 adults/6 children. Cannot fault, their food was top notch and service excellent😁. Relaxed atmosphere beautiful decorations very festive. All in all lovely evening ..thank you. Loved our waiter 🤣🤣🤣

We dinned here Friday evening 😎. It has been a very long over due visit. As always the food was spot on. Starters a garlic bread overload 😋 wow, just as expected, delicious. An array of main courses ordered pizza,pasta, fish, steak, chicken, kids meals & food to go. The staff are so lovely and very friendly & go above and beyond. It was my daughter's birthday, we brought a birthday cake, candles, sparkler for cake. The dressed the cake ,candles flickering sparkler thing going off. The atmosphere was fantastic, everyone in the restaurant joined in singing happy birthday....Highly recommend The Italian job, love ❤️ this place, great value , freshly cooked food...Yum x

Booked our 3rd family occasion here never fails to impress staff are always attentive very family friendly great value for money. First meal here was 34yrs ago and it's still as good, booked my daughter's 18th, mum's 70th, upstairs had a disco so she danced the night away literally! no rushing to get you out best place in Urmston for hospitality, had work Xmas party's here. Recently had daughter's baby shower here even provided a table for the cake(gender reveal) and balloons booked the party menu 3 courses £22each 27 guests food arrived hot and on time plates cleared away when finished asked if the desserts were wanted straight away or do we want a 15min break helped take a group photo, next girls Xmas party. Fab place lots of space upstairs area aswell never had a bad meal.

A long overdue visit. Dined in. The experience was so 😍 lovely. Still thinking about the carreta folded pizza which was divine and the tiramuso for dessert. Staff were friendly, informal and very attentive. A great evening had by all in our party.

My husband and I have been dining at this restaurant for over 40 years and the standards have remained consistent. Great service, great food and drink and great value for money. They tick all our boxes. Well done to all the team at the Italian Job and thank you. The steak and trimmings is amazing.

Lovely atmosphere. Always enjoy my meal. Food made to order. Pizzas homemade are gorgeous. Staff always friendly when i go in a big party. In a smaller group can be alittle hit and miss with service. Still think its best Italian in Urmston as staff do make your time there enjoyable.

Had starters & mains here this evening. We had chicken in garlic mushroom sauce & asked for extra garlic it came and we requested some extra garlic the waiters came with 2 extra pots of creamy garlic sauce it was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, very friendly & the meals was beautiful fresh home cooked Italian food. Will 100% visit again & recommend to anyone.

It was a busy evening but we got served in reasonable time. Beer nicely chilled. Starters were OK. Garlic bread was tasty bit too much sauce on the prawn cocktail. Calzone pizza was yummy. Young man was a bit keen to take our pint glasses away without checking if we wanted another drink.

First time diner on Saturday. The place was very busy, and the staff handled everything perfectly. Food was great, service impeccable. 4 to our table and each of us got our food at the same time. We were really surprised at our bill and thought they'd left items off. A great experience. Recommended.

Love this place came tonight the staff are great, Tony and Yolanda and sue are so professional and made a huge fuss of my baby. The owner came for a chat and a laugh what a lovely man. Also his young son was working hard and very polite and professional. The chef even sent over some pasta for my baby to try also got a bit of ice cream as a treat for my baby which again was a thoughtful and kind gesture. The staff all work hard and nothing is too much trouble they are friendly and courteous. The food is great and always hot and fresh when it arrives. Great value for money and a fantastic atmosphere. Love this place ❤️ xx

Food was good, but could of been better! Can get quite noisy when there is a birthday party aswell but what got me was when I was served a really bad tangy stale orange juice that I could smell was stale just from it sat on the table! Apart from that, the staff was polite and welcoming but unfortunately I wouldn't go back!

Ordered take away for the first time from here. Reasonably quick delivery.Garlic bread was good, canneleni was tasty but what spoiled it was the many lumps of mince that had not been broken up.

What a fabulous birthday celebration for my uncle. The restaurant catered for around 70 people, we had all of upstairs. Food was brilliant, so was the service, also all the staff where so nice and friendly. Great place. Highly recommend a visit. Xx

Exceptional Food! My family have been coming to the Italian Job for over 25 years now and it's always been great. The staff are friendly always look after us. I love the family atmosphere of the restaurant. It's child friendly and the fish tank always keeps my nieces happy. There's a nice ambience for date night also. If you love authentic Italian food then definitely come here, I'm sure you'll love it!
