Absolutely love this place, we went for my sisters birthday, they were so accommodating for such a big party. Food was amazing, cooked perfectly and very tasty and all pretty much arrived at the same time, we actually got the chef to come out at the end so we could thank him personally. Lovely atmosphere, friendly attentive staff. Good value for money, highly recommended. As it’s in the Main Street there is no parking, however there are a few parking places around. Will definitely be going again! 🙌

There are number of Italian restaurants in Sale promoting 2 or 3 course early diner meals. They are all good and definitely value for money, but Borrello is definitely the best. @£13.95 for a 3 course meal with lovely tasting food and heartfelt service, they really can't be beat. The atmosphere is cosy but not trying to pack you in like sardines in other early bird diners in Sale that we've tried. They didn't rush you to get in another sitting too. The food was tasty and well presented. Overall this is a great budget friendly local Italian worth repeated visits

I really liked it, great food, lovely service, surprisingly few Italian wines but that's just being picky. This is well worth a visit.

Just had the most brilliant service and gorgeous food served to us by the family that is Borello in Sale. The special occasion being that we were together as a family with no particular reason just that we could finally !! The atmosphere inside is fabulous. Not too big but the staff are amazing and non stop. We were so well looked after and the food and wine was plentiful and divine. Can't wait to go back !!! Thank you.

Absolutely incredible experience. I’ve lived in Sale for many years, yet as soon as we sat down, tasted the food, and experienced the incredible service, we were transported to Italy! Lovely meal, great ambience and music, but still so accessible transport-wise, would definitely recommend to anyone. It’s amazing in every aspect and I can’t overstate the quality of the good; my friend and I just looked at each other after the first bite!

Wow! We had an amazing dinner, and rather by accident. We were trying to drop in at Rudy’s to celebrate some spontaneous good news, but hadn’t made a reservation. Feeling a little gutted, we happened upon Borrello while heading back to Sale High Street… The food was amazing! The pan-fried prawns were deliciously zesty and crisp, and the stewed ribs were just so flavourful and hearty; just beautiful! I had a Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Oil, and my partner had the catch of the day (Lemon Butter Sole with Truffle Chips). Aside from feeling so fancy, the flavours were all perfectly and delicately balanced. My partner finished her meal with fudge cake and ice cream, which she polished off neatly. I was way too full for dessert. The portion sizes are big, in my opinion, but the food tasted so good we put away the lot with no problem. My eyes feel like they’re about to pop, but I’m very satisfied. Excellent service, great atmosphere (lovely decor - the walls are impressive) and reasonably priced too for the experience. We had a great time and hope you do too!

Sunday evening with my sis-in-law at Bordellos, Sale. Excellent service, comfortable atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. Food was excellent, so tasty. To finish off, the best dessert I've had the pleasure to eat, the Panna cotta with mixed berry coulis. My first visit but definitely not the last!😋😋😋

My siblings and I went out for dinner on Sunday evening, it was quiet in the restaurant but it was a nice relaxed atmosphere. The service was on point, and the food/drinks were prompt to arrive. The food was absolutely amazing, very fresh, good quality and good portion sizes. Good size menu and delicious desserts. Borrello is a local treasure. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

Visited for the early bird whilst catching up with work friends. Excellent choice of dishes on the Early Bird Menu, which was, delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when one of our party started to feel a liitle unwell. Thank you for your care and concern and for moving us to a cooler table.

Visited boxing day for my wife's birthday, with my Daughter, son in law and granddaughter. The food was excellent, I had the lobster ravioli which was exquisite 👌. Can not rate this restaurant enough. Staff are all so happy and friendly and there is a great atmosphere. They were so accommodating - let me pick a meal and make it veggie no problem. The prices are affordable especially if you have the early bird courses. Authentic and fresh Italian food. Cocktails are gorgeous too. Decor is v cute. 10/10.

We've been going here for more years than I can recall this latest visit found a pleasent change . The lasagne has a different and lovely flavour. The garlic bread had a crunch to it , definitely a new base since our last visit. Great atmosphere and lovely attentive staff.

We just love this little Italian in sale its our favourite. Went on Saturday with friends not been for a while due to circumstances but we we be going again soon. The staff are just lovely attentive without fuss, the food is excellent and the fizz is always cold.

Lovely place. Great food at reasonable prices. Come here often with family for special occasions as we all enjoy it. The young waitress who helped to serve us last night was particularly lovely - I didn't get a name unfortunately.

Just visited Borrello for the first time for a Birthday meal and was very impressed with the food and the excellent service. I had the ribs to start which were tender and very tasty. This was followed by the Risotto with the chicken and peppers in Tomato sauce again delicious and very flavoursome. Everyone else's dishes looked very good too. Great menu so much to look forward to when I go back again. Thanks.

Absolute waste of space. No service in 30 minutes, asked 3 times to order drinks, nothing. Left. Oh, and packed in like sardines.

Went out to Borellos Sat 26 Aug it was very busy and had to wait about 10 mins for our pre-booked table which no problem for us ,once we were seated we got a drink straight away I had garlic mushrooms ,which were very tasty my wife had Kalamari, plus we had a garlic bread to share we both opted for the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection ,we had more drinks,plus a round free for our short wait bill came to £69-95 with eat out to help out scheme will be going back it’s a very friendly restaurant and would highly recommend !

Really nice food, because it's so nice, people picking up food to take out, kept coming past the table. I will ask to sit somewhere else next time (social distance allowing). Isn't my own fault for booking so late.

Absolutely amazing restaurant, no matter what I order it is always delicious. The staff are fantastic and very friendly, make a huge effort to make your meal as special as possible. They now have draught beer which was gorgeous. Smooth and went down easily. Highly recommend.

Very welcoming staff, beautiful starters, lovely risotto and red wine. The decor and atmosphere was fabulous and you can’t argue with the prices either! Only slight improvement I think they could make is to use fresh seafood. Would definitely go again.

10 of us celebrating 87th birthday girl took advantage of early bird menu. Plenty of choice with well cooked food portions just the right size. Good attentive service and we will be back as have been before.
