The food was amazing. We didn't wait long for it to come out. The portions were generous and were pipping hot! There was a high chair for my baby and we sat in a lovely area away from the bar. The bar man couldn't do enough for us, kept coming over, making sure we had enough to drink and had everything we needed. Will definitely be going back very soon!

Only two cask ales on when I visited. This seems to be a good pub for Guinness, judging by the number of people drinking it. My pint of a Yorkshire brew was top notch.

Called in 04/09/23 and was very pleasantly surprised. Had a snack which was delicious and a couple of hand pulled pints of Blonde bitter which was fab! I will definitely go again & overall 5*****'s from me!

Held a wake here recently. The staff were wonderful. So friendly. Food was great and pub clean and welcoming. Would definitely go again and recommend to all. The only thing I woukd say is that they need to sweep the pavement outside the pub. It let's it down. Give it a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised. 😊

Was pleasantly surprised when we visited. We needed to find somewhere to eat as our daughter was in a show at the Altrincham Garrick Play House. The food was excellent. I had fish and chips and the portion size was just right. The waitress who served us was also very pleasant and helpful.

Do not leave a negative review as when you go back in for the first time in 2 years frying pan face refuses to serve you ,for no reason, never caused trouble, this is also the same woman who refused a 10 year old kid a glass of tap water when it was hot. I'd go over the road o the navi , a lot cheaper beer and food, better quality of staff to, even better go the quarrybank better food better beer and it is cheaper,

Its been many years since I've been in this pub but it still has a great feel, warm and friendly.

Nice welcoming pub, staff are always nice and go the extra mile. Home cooked food is very nice but I had a nightmare trying to change the baby on my knee in the gents toilets. I must add as well that the prizes of soft drinks are way too high. Just shy of £4 for a pi t oflemindae/coke

Lovely pub with a real fireplace that keeps the place toasty warm. Busy as well. However could do with some more ales on sale. Just had 3 local brews and standard lagers on tap.

Great little quaint pub, lovely in the winter months to cosy up in here with a few beverages and a roaring open fire to keep you warm. Some of the karaoke i have heard leaves a lot to be desired but lets be honest what karaoke doesn't. Overall a lovely little pub.

👍 Almost always a good experience. Every now again it can take a while to get drinks ordered through the Greene King app. But sometimes they can be busy. Food is always good. Great steak and found out tonight the curry is also nice. Good choice of drink. I tend to have a coke normally but now and aga...
