A really good pub with plenty of beers on tap, offering a decent range of styles, strength and price. A busy Saturday evening but service was quick and staff were friendly throughout. The garden area at the back is large with plenty of seating (when the weather improves). As someone else said, the gents’ toilets are inadequate for a place of this size, although that’s a minor quibble.

Great atmosphere, our only issue was every time we went the bar and ordered the same 2 drinks (over 5 times) the price changed. Didn't notice at the time as we were paying on card and it was extremely busy.

First visit to this bar close to the Altrincham transport interchange. Choice of three real ales. Jorvic chose the Pomona Island. Very good. Long thin room with a shared courtyard out back.

Brilliant beer, always a good choice and of course a good vibe. Sometime have live guitarist on a Saturday afternoon and it’s a great location for other bars and restaurants!

Decent pub which serves Guinness and plenty of other options. They also allow you to get food from the fantastic Sanchez takeaway in Kings Court and eat it there.

Pleasent enough, although at the time of my visit (12.30) only two casked available were, Wainwright & Nighjar (Lost in Ikea) the latter of which was excellent, although would have benefitted from last nights beers being pulled through first. Sadly the resident Cheshire Cat had run out. I made up with a Neck Oil which being keg was on the lively side. The bar itself was quiet (Wed midday) but was warm, clean & tidy, likewise the toilets. Aside from the limited choice of casked overall it was a pleasent experience.

Good place if you like somewhere a bit quieter and chilled. Backs on to King's Court so a good selection of bars within the same little square.

Went in this afternoon for a quick drink with a friend, only ever been in the evening. It was really nice to sit outside the back in Kings Court, nice and chilled. Bar person was lovely, very friendly and polite. Wide selection of different beers. Will definitely go again in the daytime.

Nice place, table service was good. Live music was pleasant without being too loud. Only real complaint would be a couple of the guest beers were very expensive.

Great courtyard and table service. A bit slower than hoped for. Reasonable selection of beers and wines etc

Nice long bar here. They sell a small range of cask ales, which are on form. Also a good range of craft ales

Good selection of drinks available, some nice cocktails too. Draught beer is expensive at £6 a pint average but the staff are great and the atmosphere is nice too

Friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Music was a bit too loud at some points so was shouting to be heard across the table but was still a great experience

Good atmosphere, only had soft drinks so £2 for a coke didnt seem overpriced. Plenty of room outside in Kings Court if the weather is good. Worth a visit.

Good atmosphere, engaging staff and super selection of beers, if a bit pricey for some local brews (£6 a pint). Popular venue and deservedly so.

I was skeptical at first when the menu said "fresh penguin served here" but toy surprise it was one of the better penguin dishes I've tried. Great stuff.

👍 Almost always a good experience. Every now again it can take a while to get drinks ordered through the Greene King app. But sometimes they can be busy. Food is always good. Great steak and found out tonight the curry is also nice. Good choice of drink. I tend to have a coke normally but now and aga...
