Lovely afternoon & evening spent here with family today. Great local pub/restaurant serving delicious food. All meals arrived together, hot, and perfectly cooked. Sunday roast is excellent and generous serving. Homely, cosy atmosphere & great community spirit. Dogs welcome & dog biscuits available (foc) to treat your furbabies! Super-clean & hygienic; tables wiped down every time between customers. Great selection of beers, gin, whiskey, to name a few and amazing cocktails (special offer if buy 2!). Staff are hard working, efficient and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Huge thank you to SAM & HIS TEAM for a very enjoyable afternoon & for going the extra mile! See you all soon! Louise

The food is sensational I ordered the king prawn scampi chips and mushy peas extremely fresh and full of flavour the food was delightful and the staff were great too. Very impressed thanks. All the food was good but these chips were something else kudos to the chef

Went for a meal here on Saturday night and couldn’t believe how good this place was. The staff are so attentive and friendly and the food was excellent. I had the steak pie, Real HOME MADE steak pie! generous chunks of lean slow cooked steak with plenty of gravy and piping hot instead of Luke warm or nuked. my wife had the rump steak which was again cooked perfectly and the price point is total value for money!! Cannot believe this little gem was on our doorstep all along as this is the best pub by far we have eaten in for a long time. Well done to the whole team and in particular Nick the head chef who, once he had finished service had the decency to take his time to chat to us. Not only will we be returning, but making sure we tell our friends too.

I randomly found out about this place, while looking for a pub in this area and I was amazed by the food they served me. Amazing fish and chips!

We had a great family meal out on Sunday. The front of house team made us feel at home and were attentive. The food was excellent, all of us enjoyed their meals. The Trio roast dinner that I had was well cooked - no dried out Turkey here! Also a shout out for the sticky toffee pudding, very tasty and light! We’ll be back.

Called in for lunch yesterday and took advantage of the Thursday steak offer of a free starter and pudding. Our first time trying the flat iron steak. Great choice as it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, tender and tasty with massive proper chips! The starters and puddings were first class. We both said it was one of the best meals we had had in a long time and a bargain as well. All staff were friendly and welcoming. We can highly recommend.

2nd trip, still as awesome as ever! Awesome staff, good range of beers and very good value food. What's not to love?! The steak for £10 was fantastic, highly recommend!!!

Best pub in Timperley and maybe Altrincham. Great food (small menu), very reasonably priced. Great drink selection, moretti and Timothy Taylor's on tap.

Having been told many times to go..it's dog friendly! Finally did. Great pint of Guinness. We had a Lovely time. And will be back. Soon

Popped in to have a quick drink and a sharing platter of melted cheese, pickle and bread to dip. Lovely interior /exterior. Given 3* as not enough bread given with starter and once we had eaten, i noticed the cheese was out of date by 5 days, which i know would prob be still ok and it was delicious but not what you would expect for a £10 snack. My husband raised this with the manager and he couldnt apologise enough. He offered us a drink each/pudding and we declined he gave us our money back instead. Although its not what you would expect eating out of date food the customer service to rectify the issue couldnt be faulted. I would go back again and hopefully this was just a one off!

This is way more than pub grub... It was a stunning meal... The new menu lovely and the new chef a real talent! Salt and pepper cauliflower was a generous and tasty starter. The homemade steak and ale pie with mash, gravy, mushy peas (and a home made blue cheese sauce on the side) was amazing. The service (especially Lou) was excellent. Can't fault it and would fully recommend!

Lovely pub. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and great value for money, we went for a sharing platter and were so full we didn't have room for a main(there was room for cheesecake though,yummy). We will definitely go again.

Just a note to say a huge thank you to Chris and the team for hosting our mothers after funeral celebration on Friday. The attention and hospitality shown by all was fantastic and there was a lovely atmosphere created. The food provided was perfect for the event and enjoyed by all. Thanks again and would definitely recommend for hosting such an event.

Thank you to Chris and all the staff for hosting the after funeral celebration of my dear late wife Stella. Not only was the care and attention given fantastic, but also the buffet provided was of the highest quality. This was our funeral directors first venture to this venue and he was equally as impressed. We would not hesitate to recommend this venue for anybody looking to host such an occasion in the future. Good for families and the ambience was good... I was expecting more variety on the menu..but, the food we ordered was good. Friendly staff. Would go again. Plenty of parking as well.

I like the Gardeners Arms a good spot for a pint and some food. The latter however is why I've marked them down I had steak and sweet potato fries. Steak is my absolute favourite and I've never eaten a steak before that I didn't want to finish and the sweet potato's deep fried bit too long for my liking. My recommendation stick to something like a burger and you can't go wrong. Quieter pub but still lively enough with locals, great to watch sport and friendly staff.

The Gardeners Arms at Timperley is a hidden gem that offers great food and a cozy ambiance. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home as soon as you walk in. However, the highlight of the experience is undoubtedly their burgers. They are the best I've ever had from a pub, with succulent meat, fresh ingredients, and a generous portion size. I highly recommend trying their burgers, but be warned, you may not want to go anywhere else for a burger after trying theirs!

It's such a lovely, vibrant pub. Staff were friendly, fun, caring, and accommodating. They had live music which just added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We went with the whole family and had such a great time.

It was the first time we had been to the Gardeners Arms for a long time, we were amazed at what had been done, and the food and service were excellent and we had a bonus because it had a stake deal on a Thursday. Also we would like to say a exstra praise 👏 to the Shef ,we are now putting it down to our new place to go

Great place 🙂🙂 really looked after me and my companions. Were happy to serve children's meals to adults and great food. One companion got a huge jacket potato with loads of pulled pork topping.

My friend and I had the most amazing Sunday roast today, all the food was cooked to perfection, hot and so tasty, we were escorted to our table by the lovely Nathan, his customer service skills were excellent, he looked after us with complete professionalism and really made our day, thank you to all the staff, we had a great afternoon and will be coming back very soon 🤩

Had a great meal with the family. The staff were great and the atmosphere was good. It was busy but we were able to get a table no problems ona Friday evening. Food and drink were superb and excellent value.

Really surprised at space n tables inside and lovely outdoor area. Meal was delicious. Staff are so, so friendly. We really enjoyed our visit. Definately return and recommend to family and friends.

We called in for lunch on a Saturday. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Good selection on the menu, we had a starter platter for two and each item was really tasty. We were going to order dessert but we were so full we couldn't have eaten another thing! Great choice of beers and wines to go with the food. Can definitely recommend a visit 👍

Great food good atmosphere & very pleasant staff

Went for a belated Mother's Day meal. Booked online which was easy to do. Was able to amend time as had to go later. Table was reserved when we arrived. Limited choices as it was 3.30pm but we all found something we liked. Cocktails special price 2 for £12 i/o £7/8 each. Beautiful glasses for the drinks - heavy and cut glass. Main meals were tasty, good portions and well cooked (fish&chips, steak pie, pork roast). I had a delicious orange & lemon sponge with custard. Dropped 1 star due to finding small amount of plastic film in pudding. Also the regulars sat at the bar were deafening, we couldn't hear each other speaking. Nearly deducted another star for this but that's unfair on the pub itself, sign of its success!. Staff were extremely busy as I think the pub was full with other diners, family groups and very loud drinkers. Dogs welcomed and water, bowls and a variety of treats on offer for them. Cocktails being made. However they were very efficient, friendly and good humoured - a credit to the place.

Amazing food amazing staff and atmosphere, we were a group of 8 and all our meals and desserts were really enjoyable and spot on. We will definitely be back soon.

Omg what an amazing place, I came here and was absolutely stunned to find you can cook your own steak. Thier was few friends I went with and we all had a great time. The drinks were also In very posh glasses. You can even bring your dog so friendly. A must go and bargain prices too.
