We walked into House with no booking but we were accommodated easily. Emily our waitress was great with our 6 year old son. She recommended the best option for him as he can be fussy. She recommended great starters and mains for us and was very patient as we looked through the wine list. Definitely would recommend. The food was amazing. Fresh and filling. Generous portions.

Would give this place 6/5 if I could. Lovely staff, absolutely belting sun trap. Lager was crisp and served in a lovely tankard, food was next level. I had the slow cooked beef rib roast, my wife had the chicken. Both superb. 100% would return- you'd have a harder time keeping me away. NB looks like there's live music etc here as well. Top top top.

Avoid at all cost❗️I cannot believe the carnage out in altrincham lastnight at this establishment! Absolutely avoid at all costs! Bouncers attacking young girls and lads for fun, cannot believe what I witnessed I hope these 3 bouncers are proud of themselves throwing a young girl around and punching a young lad out cold in 2 separate incidents and making trouble with customers for no reason and laughing between themselves afterwards! Watched from a bar facing and really made the night feel unsafe when they’re suppose to be the people that are in a job role to protect people! Need to look at who they are hiring when attacking customers!

Had a Groupon voucher for this lovely little restaurant. Good food. Good service. Did cost a little bit to much tho.

Absolutely amazing place. Food was superb and the waitress Emily was brilliant. She welcomed us from stepping foot through the door and made sure we had everything we wanted and there were 12 of us! Nothing was too much trouble and a fantastic evening was had by us all.

I have just returned from a night out with friends, I left early because the door man with the beard put me down because of my age, apparently only 12 year olds are welcome! So rude to a lady, then I went to the bathroom and he was trying to take my bottle of wine until I said you are a doorman you can’t drink at work can you?

Love this place usually a great crowd and regulars. Sometimes get the odd jumped up punter that try's to abuse bar and door staff and don't like it when they get removed. Other than that it's a great night out and your always well looked after and kept safe. Would recommend 👌

The live music is great and the group last night was especially good. The singer was fab. The atmosphere is relaxed and the people are cool.

We had the set menu, the hummus was nice, steak however was lacking flavour and triple cooked chips lacked potatoe over cooked some greasy and some over crispy. The lemon meringue pie was lovely. Service was slow and had to ask for dishes to be brought out. We were a large group of 15 , this place may be better for smaller groups.

Great place to chill out and enjoy delicious food. Served in a pleasant surrounding by polite and friendly staff.

Lovely bar / restaurant. Food is excellent and prices very reasonable for the area.

After a long walk we were very pleased to get a late lunch in nice garden overlooking the marina. Very good lunch and quick service. Reasonable prices. Inside seating very attractive too.

Saturday night with live music. Music really good, food pretty good but nacho's need improvement. Atmosphere excellent. Big white elephant in the room is the door. At least a sign saying "please close the door" should be on it. Far too many people with "not a lot behind the eyes, or I'm far to entitled" use the door and leave it wide open. It's not rocket science but the 2 months the weather is good enough for it to be left open are far and few between. Would I come back? 100% if the door issue is addressed, 50/50 if it stays the same. Its the small stuff that matters sometimes.

One of the worst places you can go for drinks in Altrincham, extremely unwelcoming and rude staff. Would only suggest going there as a last resort. Expect to be treated like it is an inconvience to them you dining there.

Great bar and atmosphere. Some interesting beers you don't find anywhere else. Staff are great and there was a fabulous singer on when we went last Saturday.

Brilliant location!! All the necessary precations are in place. Friendly, polite and attentive staff. The food was great, our table of 4 all said the same! Definitely recommend it.

Lovely interiors. Very cosy with wooden flooring which gives the pub a nice fresh smell. We ordered a cafe latte and a sticky toffee pudding with custard. They serve it with icecream but we particularly asked for custard. Delicious. Service good. Waiters/ waitresses very friendly and polite.
