I ordered a cake from Leah for my fiance's birthday, cookie monster theme (my nickname for him since he loves cookies) and it came out absolutely beautiful! I am so impressed! Even better, it tastes absolutely divine! Chocolate & hazelnut flavour, even the frosting has a hint of hazelnut flavouring. Being a vegan cake, it means we can also share the cake with any of our friends! Absolutely gorgeous, thank you! The place itself also had a lovely warm vibe, cosy decor and games on the the tables for some fun! Perfect for a stop off for a brew and dessert. Leah and Matt (the owners) are both fantastic people, and this place is well worth a visit 😊

Great experience - a nice cosy and relaxed cafe with heavenly vegan cakes, ice-cream and chocolates. The oreo cake was the best vegan sponge I've ever had and probably in my top 3 of any cake ever! They also do cakes to order if you've an event coming up - the cake was very well received at a recent party we had regardless of whether people were vegan or not!

Cozy shop with yummy offerings. We tried the waffle ice cream sandwich (to die for) - the cinnamon maple marzipan ice cream is amazing! The coconut pistachio ice cream is so lovely too. Everything is Vegan and perfect. Friendly hosts too ❤ We are from London and happy we found Ice Shack. We also got a slice of the Chocolate peanut butter cake and Caramel cheesecake. All were heavenly.

Manchester is home to many great vegan places, but none quite compare to this one. From the incredible range of ice cream flavours to the delectable cakes, Iceshack does away with any compromise between visuals and taste, instead overachieving in both with every creation. But it's not just the food, ambiance, service, or sense of community that kept me coming back. It's the feeling of home that you get, no matter if it's your first visit or you are a regular. Iceshack has set an impossibly high standard for me, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Ice shack is THE place to get ice cream, cake, hot drinks etc. All of the cakes and the majority of the ice-creams/sorbets are homemade. This dedicated passion for the café is matched with the warm energy and friendly attitude by the staff. The cakes are not only some of the best I've ever tasted, but some of the icing artwork is outstanding. It's colourful and welcoming vibe makes it somewhere I go when I need some self-care, aided by the affordability. The only negative is that it's not on the high street and so people don't know what they're missing! Gluten free options available, dog friendly and suitable for families.

Good ice cream but I wanted something savoury to start. I asked for a mixed kebab with extra yogurt and lemon juice, the staff looked at me weird I am sure this was racially motivated. But I heard some communist mutterings, having grown up in cambodia under Pol Pot. It made me feel at home. #KeepItGoing. Great ice cream. 5 stars.

Massive selection of ice cream and cakes. The ice creams can be made into milkshakes too! Lots of board games and relaxed feel. Went with non vegans and they didn't realise it was all vegan!

I loved all the Halloween themed cakes. I had a slice of the fearfetti with a scoop of pistachio ice cream and it was delicious. The service was amazing, atmosphere was super friendly. I was supporting a gentleman with hearing impairment who has trouble modulating his speaking volume but nobody made us feel worried or bad about this which was lovely. Also love the LGBTQIA+ welcoming vibe and the awesome wall art and decor. See you soon ice shack 😋

What a great place to have ice cream and cake. Could easily spend hours here with the board games and Mario kart. The lady was so friendly and bubbly made the experience even nicer and the cakes she makes herself. Just a great place to have fun and eat nice sweet treats

Absolutely love this place it's a hidden gem of Manchester , of you're looking for vegan ice-cream ,cakes and coffees this is the place ! They have a nice area to sit and chill and work on your laptop , there's even a Nintendo 64 to play super Mario carts with your pals ! The owners are absolutely lovely and it's a great place to meet other vegan people too , Located in withington just near the library

Great little dessert place! Went there as a mixed vegan and non-vegan group, and everyone loved the ice creams and cake! Great choice of flavours, classics and fun ones! The cakes are made by the owner and as well as looking amazing, they tasted lovely too. Pleased there were options for our gluten-free person too. The owner is lovely, warm and inviting. Definitely would recommend!! Unfortunately waffles and cookie sandwiches had sold out do will just have to come back to try them!

Absolutely amazing place! We went there today without knowing that this place is fully vegan. I was over the moon with home made ice cream! Omg they were the best ice cream I ever had😱😱😱 Atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, delicious cakes (Oreo and Jaffa cake were yumi)😋 and next time we are definitely coming for more. I didn't expect much and it was amazing suprise to see so many board games,kids and dog friendly offers and accessories. We loved it and I already recommended this place to my friends. We will be back soon with our 🐕 🐕 as they can get some ice cream too 😀 Well done guys 💪 Thank you so much for having us.

The cakes are exceptional! So often in places like this the cake looks gorgeous and tastes... fine. Not here; everything is beautifully flavoured, moist and gorgeously decorated. The staff are really friendly too.

We only found Ice Shack last summer and feel so fortunate that we did. Thank You Ice Shack team for all the wonderful welcomes and meaningful goodbyes, for the toys, the smiles, the conversations and of course the ever so tasty ice cream and cakes, that just happen to be amazingly vegan 🫶🏻 All the best of luck for your next adventure in your new location on Wilmslow Rd.

What a nice place. Visited from Emidlands on the way home. Quaint, non pretentious, warm and welcoming! We had tea, carrot cake, chocolate slice and everything was delicious. So delicious that we took some extras home. Owner was really lovely too, its not so often you can walk into a place and someone will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. thank you and we'll definitely be popping in again. Xx

Best cake place ever, and it’s vegan!! I’m not vegan personally, but their cakes are to die for! Also, they do loads of different ice creams and sorbets! The photo below is of a vegan chocolate orange cupcake as a highland cow, and their vegan crème eggs cupcakes they did at Easter!

First I have to say I'm not bothered about sweets. I don't buy them, rarely I'll eat it if it's there and I'm hungry :). I LOVE ice cream though. With a passion. When I read an article in MEN last week about place called Ice Shack going 100% vegan I knew to try it out asap. Was worth it. This is my favourite ice cream place from now. Even my friend who is allergic to soya could try some thanks to advice from the staff. I think I might even try their cakes or truffles one day...

Great staff, super delicious ice cream and cones. I was really impressed with coconut ice cream with pistachios.

Lovely little find ! We drove over from Bolton and were not disappointed. Amazing member of staff served us and the place had such a chilled and welcoming vibe, the energy was very warm. We had the cinnamon cake and the berry cake which were both 10 out of 10 !! Cant wait to try more 💚

Great place. Totally vegan. Lots of board games. Good ambience and music was nice and chilled. Took 2 young kids and two older and they had a great time. Ice cream was lovely (chocolate, chocolate orange) and also tried the Choc orange cake which was fantastic. Not sickly but just right with some ice cream. Great tasting ice cream. Great atmosphere, great friendly staff and best of all, my son has a choice of 22 different flavours of ice cream. Definitely well worth a visit if you are close by and well worth a visit for people who can't have regular ice cream due to milk allergy.

Very charming place. Great choice of vegan desserts. Ice creams are amazing. Would be nice to have greater selection of gluten and refined sugar free items, but other than that is great. Would definitely recommend
