Firstly, the staff here are absolutely brilliant. Second to none, really helpful. But the hotel itself needs a huge overhaul - and quick! The rooms are too small, the amenities are lacking and the overall feel is tired and worn out. The bar and reception area are just about passable, but the rooms and corridors aren't! Areas that were meant to be white are beige, areas that were meant to be beige are brown and areas that were mean to be brown have peeled off! Best Western need to get the hotel back up to scratch as the hard working staff deserve to have a hotel they can be proud of. Not worth the money as it stands as there are hotels with much more not far away.

The hotel was as expected for the price. The room was big enough for what I needed and the bed was large and comfortable. The shower was good but the sink had hot and cold taps rather than a mixer tap. This wasn't too much of an issue overall. It was nice and warm in the room during the whole 2 days I was there. The stand out part of this stay was the friendliness of all the staff and how helpful they were whilst I was there. I also called them the day after as I had forgot my Invisalign case. They checked with housekeeping and called me back as promised. Offered to post it out to me but I collected it.

This hotel is the single worst hotel I’ve had the displeasure of staying in. Word can’t describe how horrendous the room and the bed was. Dirty carpets and bathtub. A bed less comfortable than a park bench and equally awful pillows. Avoid at all costs. Booked 2 nights and left and checked out after the first night with severe back and neck pain. You would be much better off at Travelodge.

Stayed on night Aug 22 before an early flight with my wife and two kids 23 months and 11yrs on a park and stay deal. Really good value, family room we had was massive essentially two rooms knocked into one. Staff were really good both on reception and the bar. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Only downsides are the road outside is noisy and the room was very warm but that wouldn’t be enough to stop us booking again and the only reason it gets 4 not five stars. Taxi to take us to the airport was waiting outside at 4.30am organised by the staff and included in the booking.

Was pleasantly surprised at my first stay at Cresta Court. Professional helpful welcoming reception staff. Comfortable clean room and excellent breakfast with very efficient staff. Nice bar area. Booked my next stay already!!

It's very convenient for flying out of Manchester. The parking is a little tight, but the rest of the stay is good. The beds are a little on the hard side, but the room is comfortable. The staff are great, polite and engaging. The food is good and not a bad place to eat , which makes a change for airport hotel restaurants. We'd stay here again without doubt.

Stayed here many times now. Excellent place to stay before or after a trip to Manchester Airport. Staff always very obliging and helpful. Taxi service to airport always spot on.

We stayed here for a friend's wedding reception. We had a king size room which felt quite small and the bathroom was also very compact, but the staff were all great and the breakfast was very nice (self-service but lots of choice) so on balance it was a perfectly enjoyable stay. It also didn't break the bank as with booking directly the breakfast was included.

Brilliant hotel, rooms spacious, breakfast fantastic. The bar was closed when we returned. Couldn't pay on room charge or credit card despite hotel information telling us otherwise. However a resounding 4.5 stars overall.

Get here early if you want to park because the car park was absolutely rammed. We had to park on the street but had to be cautious where due to restrictions and fees on public roads. Entering the hotel receptiob is awful . . . There was a function on and it appears that the reception entrance doubles as the smoking area..! As non smokers this was disgusting having to fight our way through a plume of smoke which made us feel like we were on an episode of Stars in their Eyes .... "tonight Matthew, I'm going to be......"..! Couple this with having to trudge through literally hundreds of discarded cigarette butt's, it wasn't pleasant at all...! The room was okay... cleans and everything provided. There seems to be a constant hum throughout the building. Not sure if its from heating or air conditioning but a pair of ear plugs might be a good shout..? Apart from that, the reception staff were helpful and pleasant. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend.

Best described as "okay" for the price paid but the room is very small. Barely any room to get a suitcase past or next to the bed for storage. Old brown watermark in the bath and dried blood on the outside of the shower curtain, it was at the very most, passable on the basis we had somewhere to sleep and that the bedding was clean. We were offered a new room regarding the blood on the shower curtain but it should have been caught and resolved prior to that.

Brilliant stop over on a fly drive. Comfy rooms and evening restaurant menu. Ask for quiet room or upgrade on arrival. We stayed here the last 10 years, just booked for next year.

Rude/disinterested front desk, we had 3 identical rooms booked though each with their own flaws (broken fans, missing water, faulty sockets) reception didn’t care to help, “it was out of their hands”. Only thing going for this place is its location, close to the airport for an early flight, everything else from services, friendliness, cleanliness would have been 0 stars if I could go so low. Do better Beat Western! Disgusted!

The rooms here a pretty small. The water pressure in the shower was low and I could barely get my hands underneath the faucet. They do not have a workout room or a laundry room. Most importantly, there is no air conditioning. You have to keep the window open and hope it's not hot outside. However, the breakfast is top notch and the staff are excellent. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and attentive to your needs.

Awful customer service at the reception. Couldn't care less when we had an issue with our booking told us to sort it out ourselves even when we hadn't made the mistake they did! Rooms dingy and very much in need of upgrade stained carpets etc. No air conditioning or fans available and room far too warm to sleep. Really disappointed and couldn't wait to leave. Only plus was the restaurant food was tasty although limited menu. One waitress who seemed to know what she was doing the rest were hopeless. Wouldn't recommend staying and won't be back

Great place to hold an event! The events manager Usman, F&B manager Jay and Danielle in reception, plus others were fabulous. All our guests commented on how good the food was, the bar service was great and everything came together to be a great evening. Friends who stayed in the hotel were also happy.

Comfortable stay. Nice room, quiet, close to station and town centre. Staff are attentive and friendly. Restaurant is pleasant, but food is quite expensive and often overcooked. Minor improvements could be made; water could be hotter and water pressure could be better. Door did not fully close without pushing/pulling it. These are really just minor annoyances, but not enough to stop me coming back.

Complete con. Mother-in-law stayed here and I dropped her off and waited 20 minutes for her daughter to arrive and got a fine. Staff lied and said there's nothing they can do. I work in Hotels so I know it's a Complete lie. A simple email and they could've stopped my fine but they couldn't be bothered with that. And the rooms terrible cheap and nasty.

Came here on a coach trip, having read the reviews prior to this I want expecting a great deal but I was pleasantly surprised, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, bar area was really nice, staff were great and the best breakfast I have had 😊

The rooms were kept tidy, the only issue is the beds are hard but it was fine. The staff at the front desk were friendly and really helpful for my stay. There seemed to be lots of staff in the restaurant but the service was slow but friendly, the food was good in the restaurant and the food didn’t take long.

Rooms are adequate, good for people travelling for work. Staff on reception were helpful and even let me know of a big group booking so I could avoid the rush at breakfast. One tiny point: a steak knife would have been handy for the amazing steak frite!

Bunch of the most feckless prigs I’ve ever had the misfortune of meeting. Uncomfortable beds bad night sleep and given a £100 parking fine after staying despite registering our car when we arrive and them having the info on our booking. Trying to call them to sort it out has lead to at least half a dozen calls to the hotel and also the car park company with everyone trying to outdo each other as far as being unhelpful. Eventually told I can pay a £25 admin fee to the hotel to get them to cancel it. After which they ignore my emails and make chasing them down an absolute ball ache to try and get this sorted. Absolute joke can’t tell you want a stress this whole thing has caused so unhelpful it’s unreal.

Best experience of here was the breakfast. Staff looked after us every morning , especially Depak who provided my friends and I vegetarian options each morning, which he cooked just for us. His colleague Mia was very attentive and helpful too, and they along with the kind waiters made the whole 2 week stay really worth the while. Thanks guys!

My wife and I stayed here overnight. We where flying out to Atlanta the following morning early. The staff where so friendly and helpful. My wife had a check in issue that night at 9-00 pm for the flight check in which is something you really don't need. Katie in the bar lounge area very kindly helped my wife and Katie resolved the problem for us. This is what it's all about friendly, helpful and curtious staff. The same applies to Gabriella in reception who booked us in. She was lovely and helpful All the very best to your other staff for their valued service. The room was small but!!, it was good enough for both of us. We will be staying here in future when we fly abroad. Many thanks to everyone 👍👍👍👍

This Hotel definitely needs a complete renovation done. Food was very expensive and the menu was the same every evening. Pillows were Rock hard too and I wasn't very happy having to use the bathroom facilities because of cleanliness. Definitely won't be going back.

On a coach trip and stayed 2 nights. The bed was very hard and had to ask for a mattress topper, which made it only slightly better. Evening meal was ok, not great, and service was utter chaos. However, very good buffet breakfast. Everything freshly cooked and hot. Wouldn't stay there again.

Booked for an overnight stay with airport parking (luckily this is elsewhere) car park was completely full, people parked over lines so some spaces weren’t available. Managed to find an unofficial spot on the end of a row, after driving around the place 3 times. No idea what I was supposed to do if I didn’t see that? Glad I am not leaving it here for the duration of my trip. Room is alright, basic and old looking and noisy from the road, wouldn’t book here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights as I was running the Manchester marathon. We picked this hotel due to the location and it's easy to get to off the motorway. Getting into Manchester is easy by tram as it's only a 5 minute walk away. The room itself was fine for us. Not the biggest but the main thing was it was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable too. Staff were very friendly and helpful and overall it was a pleasant stay. Only thing to let it down was the evening service. I'd say a bit of a disappointment. I don't mind waiting for food but having been seated for over and hour isn't on. They tried to say it was busy but tbh the restaurant was only half full. I noticed others had a similar wait. Hopefully it was just a one off!

Clean, comfy and had a window that opened. Only slept there for a few hours so didn't eat but the staff I dealt with were helpful and made everything very easy. I'd recommend. Taxi to airport took 15 minutes and was right on time for a very early pick up

Room was a great size, nice and spacious. Food was lovely and the service was great however the room was uncomfortably hot. Still would recommend staying here, nice and clean and friendly staff.

Great service with a nice breakfast. What let's it down is the dated rooms and lack USB ports next to the bedside table. Very comfortable bed but I was placed at the rear of the hotel and was kept up all night by the sound of the generators.

About the smallest bedroom I have ever been in. Just about one foot between edge of bed and wall with radiator.. sticky bedside table perhaps due to covid problems but still not acceptable.

Have used this hotel several times pre and post covid, excellent all round venue.

really nice hotel in a great location. Staff are super friendly and the breakfast was great. I really like the 'to go' coffee cups available at the breakfast bar. It looks fairly basic from the outside but the rooms are really nice and beds are very comfy.

I slept well and the parking was good. Otherwise the hotel needs work and the staff were not interested in our comfort. A real shame.

Check in was great and we were given all the info we needed about our stay. Bar service was great and breakfast choices were substantial. All the staff we interacted with were really helpful and this includes cleaning staff -I would not single any staff member out because they were all great. The room was nice - clean and tidy and filled our bill. We will go back . Best wishes Pat and Keith

I couldn't get parked and the staff were so lovely however the clientele weren't. My neighbours on one side were watching television rather loudly and then when that went off around 11pm a couple on the other side of me started arguing. I had to be up at 2.30am to catch a plane and in the end got no sleep. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to stay as its very noisy and busy with different types of clients. . Too noisy. The staff were lovely in terms of reception and bar staff.

I came here for an event so have no comment on the state of the rooms. The place seemed decent enough, not the best of locations. Staff were nice and helpful and the food we were served, meat and potato pie, was lovely but overpriced in my opinion. The event room we were using could have done with a bit of TLC. Light fittings hanging out of the ceiling in places and the room was a bit gloomy. Again all my comments are as a user not a host so good enough.

  • 2/5 Jack S. 2 years ago on Google
The bar and communal areas were nice and the staff were helpful, the rooms are in desperate need of a huge revamp. Rooms were very small, beds uncomfortable, the bathroom was okay, although did not have enough towels. Disappointingly there was no room service, and the rooms were not cleaned at all. Had to ask for more towels at the reception. The rooms were also very cold, as the heating was either not working or couldn't be turned on. Overall, I certainly won't be staying here again any time soon.

We stayed with a group and we’re treated as a group. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the food was very 3rd rate except for the breakfast which was good. On the last night we waited for nearly 1 And 1/2 hours before we got the starter. Apparently we had booked out yesterday !! The rooms need updating and overall pretty poor. Seems to be used as an airport car park and not much else. We have stayed in hotels near gatwick offering the same deal with cars but far superior. Disappointing Manchester look to your peers !

We have now used this hotel 3 times for a stop over before flying from Manchester Airport. Staff are always friendly and helpful and rooms are fine. Free Wi-Fi always a nice bonus. My wife had the breakfast and said it was lovely.

Recently had my wedding here, overall the service was great. Unfortunately during my time planning at least 3 different people from the events team has left which mean to constantly having to go over details. When we decided to postpone because of COVID , we were grateful that the hotel where helpful With this but they wouldn’t allow us to keep a Saturday instead we had to change to a Friday. I felt communication could of been better at the start of planing I would get replies within a day! After people started leaving it would take weeks of me chasing up & ringing to get a response. Which on the lead up to the day was a bit stressful The toilet downstairs on the day for the wedding were incredible hot! I had guest complaining to me about them. Leah was in charge when we got To the reception and I have to say she was incredibly lovely. The reception staff were so lovely and helpful too. Food was a massive hit & the in-house DJ was fantastic The rooms were lovely although the mattress was too small for the bed Overall it’s a beautiful hotel & reasonably priced

A get what you pay for kind of experience, parts of the hotel incredibly dated. BW need to invest a bit more cash into the rooms and general upkeep. There were weddings on 2 consecutive nights at the hotel Fri/Sat which meant it was extremely busy and loud. A nice early Sunday fire alarm, being turned away from breakfast and some very tight parking make this a hotel of last resort for me. However, the staff were fantastic from check-in, to the bar and at breakfast. All friendly and helpful!

Great place to stay for the money. Stayed here for 1 week for work. Beds were a little on the firm side but overall I'd stay here again. Good food at the restaurant and proper bar. Staff were very helpful and looked after you. Would recommend.

Booked a room for one night and parking whilst away on holiday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the process could not have been easier. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making, nice fluffy towels and piping hot shower with on site restaurant for extra convenience. Taxi to and from airport included in the price, which was cheaper than airport parking alone. We went away knowing my car was secure, having heard horror stories of cars being used whilst owners on holiday. Can highly recommend and will definitely be using again, Thank you to all the staff you're a credit to the company.

The window was broken, so it didn't close. Road noise was too noisy. The room was too hot. Unfortunately, there are no usb sockets in the room. On the plus side. The breakfast was excellent, and the chef made an excellent scrambled egg for me
