Decent ales and whiskey. Shelves could do with some more books and slight distraction from the fiddler next door. Decent table service.

What a great little place. Tons of personality, a great chilled vibe, well fitted out, and the staff were both brilliantly knowledgeable, but really lovely too.

Riddles is a truly unique bar. The craft that goes into their cocktails is a sight to behold. Top notch atmosphere. A sixth star for the free live music nights they put on. Make sure you've got enough money in your wallet - it is pricey, but absolutely worth it.

Lovely independent liquor store in the heart of the Altrincham market area. Alcohol aside, the premises has some of the most wonderful display units I've seen in a local store. Quite exceptional. So go for the booze, but stop by for the sights!

Really great drinks, easily the best choice for a serious cocktail in Alty. The menu is really innovative and plays well to cocktail/spirit trends rather than sticking to the pub classics. I love that it's table service, and the staff I've met so far have all been really lovely, but service is a little slow. A couple of times, I've had to go up to the bar to ask if we can order another, or to chase up an order after waiting a good while. It definitely won't stop me going back, but sharper service would kick it up a gear and make it a new favourite!

Came in on Saturday asking if there was any mocktails (pregnant woman here really missing my alcohol 😂) Lovely manager named beth showed me the mocktails but added if there was anything not on there that I fancied she liked a challenge. Now I am a big whiskey drinker and love dry drinks, not a sweet fan. So when I was looking at the mocktails and she advised me she could make me a drink like a whiskey sours I was sold. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Its worth noting your other members of staff I dealt with were all lovely and friendly aswell despite it being a very busy bank holiday Saturday. You all made a fed up pregnant woman very happy and I will be recommending you to everyone and will definitely be back when I can have a real drink :)

Great cocktail menu - offers variety, lovely place also, just I've always felt a bit disappointed with the cocktails when they arrive, maybe a little too adventurous I.e. brandy in an espresso martini. Some times the classics are best left, they are classics for a reason after all, but more than likely just me as friends I've been with have always enjoyed it.
