I
so
desperately
wanted
to
leave
this
place
and
give
it
a
5
star
review,
but
unfortunately
I
was
not
able
to
based
on
my
visit
here.
Before
I
go
any
further
I
must
say
that
the
service,
cleanliness,
atmosphere
were
all
excellent,
but
the
food
just
really
wasn't
very
good.
I
came
for
an
evening
meal
and
I
cannot
speak
to
the
breakfast.
There
are
not
many
places
you
see
with
a
4.9
review
score
so
I
came
here
with
high
expectations.
We
arrived
around
7:30
for
my
girlfriends
birthday
dinner,
we
were
sat
down
and
ordered
a
number
of
items
from
the
small
plates
menu
and
this
is
where
it
started
to
go
down
hill.
The
corn
was
mushy
and
overcooked,
covered
in
a
weird
sauce,
unpleasant.
The
chicken
wings,
little
flavour,
bang
average.
The
potatoes,
covered
in
a
horrible
cheese
mix
and
tasted
like
they
had
been
cooked
days
before
and
the
ciabatta
with
cheese
that
came
out
looking
like
a
childs
pizza
bread.
We
also
ordered
the
small
plate
of
lamb,
at
£13
for
a
small
plate
I
was
expecting
something
really
nice,
however
no
seasoning,
raw
in
the
middle,
small
portion
and
just
very
underwhelming.
None
of
the
food
was
awful,
but
average
at
best
and
when
you
leave
with
an
£84
bill
for
two
people,
you
expect
a
lot
more.
Instead
we
were
served
average
food
and
wine
by
some
really
friendly
people.
I
will
be
back
to
try
the
breakfast
as
this
must
be
where
the
magic
is.
