The best breakfast I’ve had in Manchester by far, all the food is really nice here. They’ve tried to make as much as seating as possible and the girls do a great job getting food out quickly at peak times. Honestly have tried most of the menus and the portion size and quality has always been wonderful, they’re very accommodating and friendly.

I had read the reviews and thought I'd give it a go. I only had a jacket potato with tuna and cheese- I couldn't complain at the size of it for the price and thought they were quite generous with the cheese and tuna. (had already had a few bites before taking pic)

If there were an opportunity to give it zero stars I would have done so. Simply ridiculous. A 2 hour wait for a breakfast delivery when ordered through Uber Eats. I understand it to be a busy period in the morning hours but if the capacity cannot be coped with just reject the request rather than accepting it and making the customer wait for 2 hours just for the breakfast to be served. Absolute shambles. Simply poor service. Will never order anything from them..

Had a quick breakfast and coffee here. Nothing to complain. The omelette was done well with good amount of cheese. The coffee was quite cold though. Good variety of menu available if you want a full breakfast.

I was very happy with my cheese, tomato and mushroom omelette, it was great value and came with a nice side salad. My partner had the veggie breakfast which looked like less good value but I'm assured it was tasty all the same. I appreciated that they didn't overcharge for hot drinks like most cafes and takeaways do. I was impressed with the lady who served us.

Yesterday, Mrs and I bought our breakfast and I must say it was the best. It was prepared with love and care. I was feeling like eating home cooked breakfast so fresh and delicious. The Cafe Place is really clean and staff are well mannered. The menu has wider choices. Honestly I tried other places in the area but this one is gold mine. Definitely I will visit again. Highly recommend others to visit if you are looking for a delicious breakfast.

The most awful place I’ve ever been. Just wanted to buy a a canned drink. Staff ignored me at the counter even though I had a baby. So rude. I just left.

We have ordered here before, the first time we ordered the food was amazing and service was speedy. As a result of this we thought we'd order again a few weeks later and it has been nothing short of disgraceful since then. We ordered through Uber eats for breakfast and delivery took at least 40 minutes OVER the estimate timeframe for delivery which was already an hour and half. When the order arrived the driver left the food on the door step and walked off without letting us know, we have a doorbell. We understood to that is a busy time and that they could have been overwhelmed so we gave them the benefit of the doubt - didn't get upset and ordered again another few weeks later as we do love the food. Our mistake. The last time we ordered from there we ordered the food around 10am. It came at around 1:10pm after the driver gave order to someone else. We had to wait for a fresh make of our food to be delivered again!?! I had to call up multiple times just to get some answers. After the man at the café told us where our food had got too he said he'd call the uber driver and get him to deliver our food to us , which was this point wasn't only too late but also unhygienic? After waiting longer and no results I called back and asked for some answers and only then he said he'd make us new ones? Like if I didn't call back were you just going to leave it and take our money?? We waited for hours for food that was wrong,cold and disappointing. We ordered breakfast and got it around lunch time. We work hard for our money and like a treat every now and then and this was so disappointing. We don't have the time to be waiting around for food !! Absolutely shocking this ruined our day. Will never order from this place ever again. You don't deserve people's custom.

Waited 10 minutes to get served and I was the only one in the cafe, waited a further 20 minutes for a tuna melt sandwich @£4.50, I came with no lettuce or onion, just a small baguette with a bit of tuna in and a sprinkle of cheese. Would not recommend.

Ordered via deliveroo an hour later and 30 minutes past delivery time no food contacted the store spoke to what sounded like a young girl who wasn't interested 1 bit and stated the delivery time her end was an hour, when I stated well its been over an hour and no food she said sorry that was it then hung up on me! 20 minutes after the phone call (85 minutes after ordering) the food arrives no apology from the driver (who isn't a deliveroo driver - works for the cafe place) got the food in which was just placed in a carrier bag and was not transported in a thermal bag! the food was all mushed and cold not ediable at all! I rang the cafe place gave my order number and they hung up on me - great customer service! Will not be ordering from them again terrible service all round

I literally never leave anyone a bad review so the fact I have shows how awful this place was. We paid an absolute fortune for the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Initially ordered a £8.50 breakfast for two people to then to be told once paying for it, they didn’t have it. We were then offered a £6.00 version instead. Had to ask for the difference refunded as they didn’t even bother to offer. We asked for coffee with oat milk and was made with cows milk- good job we didn’t have milk allergies. There was no sugar so completely left the coffee and wasted £5. No offer of toast preference and came with white which again wasn’t eaten. The whole thing was a rip off. So so expensive for the bare minimum. Left feeling absolutely starving and like we hadn’t eaten anything. Staff weren’t great either. I wouldn’t go here even as a last resort.

I like this cafe. Simple straight forward and the coffee is piping hot. Not had the food but it is very reasonably priced.

Food was well cooked better didn't really like the ingredients but that's my own preference others seemed to enjoy it over all it's a nice place

Ordered 3 hours ago food is still a no show they rang an hour ago and said they are really busy but they will make it and send it straight out but still no sign of food, my mums diabetic so had to eat because the wait was too long won’t be ordering again surley a 3 hour wait is a joke ??

Very good value. Jacket potato with two filings and a salad for £3.95. A 3-egg omelette with a salad for £2.95. £1.50 for a good sized cup of tea. Good service, tasty food, would definitely visit again.

Really enjoyed the big breakfast and omelettes. Nice coffee too. Convenient location for the local big shops and far nicer food than the other popular options in the area (KFC and McDonalds) nearby. The food is decent, good value and well presented. We ate in so can't comment on take away or delivery.

Waiting for car service at nearby Manor Garage, looked for a place to work on laptop. Coffee and tea cakes good, internet brilliant, was here for nearly 2 hours got loads done. Be fair to them and don't just buy one coffee if you spend over an hour here- its not a free office :-)

Small breakfast. Egg toastie and two hot drinks for under a tenner! Coffee and tea excellent. Toastie hot and filling. Breakfast great quality. Bit of a wait but all done to order I think. Very friendly and efficient young server. Will return if in area

Genuinely the nicest fry up I have ever ordered for delivery. Great value for money and all the food was cooked to perfection and delivered hot. Sausages meaty with a nice bite to it, unlike many other placed that use Richmond soggy sausages that are like biting into a wafer. Eggs, hash browns and mushrooms all Peng. Will 100% be ordering again.

Terrible cheap food. Ordered scrambled eggs and salmon and guess what i got … worse than home cooked food and a cold slice of aldi salmon. If you really want to try salmon and scrambled eggs go to uplift healthycafe. They will give you 6 eggs with big portion of salmon for 5.80 while i paid 10.50 for food like this… Never again!!!! avoid at all costs
