Lovely people with good service. Tasty food. Good drinks. #RecommendedbySollyDj As the only non white person in this whole restaurant.. I felt a bit weird going here but I was glad the staff were lovely. I liked the fresh orange juice. The food was well presented and tasty. Would definitely go back. Parking on the road outside the market area is payable but limited to 2 hours in certain areas.

I’ve been here many times now and the food, drinks and service are always impeccable!! Highly recommend the french toast, cronuts, fried chicken sandwich and the oat flat white is one of the best I’ve had! Great interior and lovely relaxed atmosphere. I believe everything is made in house and it really shows that care has been taken in the making and preparation of the food! Always a good array of options to please everyone and a good amount of outdoor seating too! Cannot recommend enough if you are in the area.

Called in for brunch on a whim on a Saturday afternoon. Had a short wait for a table, but it was well worth it! Coffee was excellent, as was the food. I had the salmon eggs benedict, and my friend had the pork shoulder version of the same - which, if anything, looked better than mine! Staff were attentive and efficient. Recommended.

We recently visited for the third time, and each visit has been better than the last. The chefs never fail to amaze me with the dishes they create! The attention to detail and the thoughtfulness that goes into the presentation is amazing. The food tastes even better than it looks, it's perfectly balanced and all of the ingredients compliment each other so well. We are totally in love! I would highly recommend this place to all brunch enthusiasts, we are already planning our next visit.

I love this perfect breakfast spot. My family from out of town loved it. I come from reading and I loved it. The scrambled eggs were perfect for my 4 year old daughter. The coffee was superb and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. We need this kind of breakfast spot jn reading, berkshire. Maybe consider chains around England because this is literally one of the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. Can't recommend this enough.

I have tried a lot of brunch places around UK and although a lot of them are very delicious this place is bringing their A game to brunching scene👏 EVERYTHING in this place is seasonal and locally sourced. All their bakery is done in house and that's dedication😉 from fresh incredible sourdoughs to sweet pastries. Hazelnut cruffin anyone😜? They got you sorted🤗 Their menu is incredible and unique. I was blown away by their ox cheek eggs Benedict 🙌 tender slow cooked meat and excellent hollandaise sauce 😍 their Aloo bennies are second to none crispy onions imitating the onion baji and slightly curried hollandaise is work of art🤤🤤 If you fancy a sweet breakfast tho then definitely get their french toast🙌 the fluffiest bad boy ever and so damn pretty 😍 on average you pay between £6-10 the eggs Benedict are £10 which is fair price for Manchester and for how generous the portion is and for the quality of ingredients. Coffee was great too and there is a choice you can pick the hand pour coffee for different experience. Overall I will be returning

We had a lovely breakfast, they have their own take on a breakfast menu which is alway fun. The food was well-cooked and tasty and we were impressed by the generous portions of the smoked salmon sides, which was gorgeous as well 👌🏻

Stopped in to Blanchflower for a spot of breakfast last Monday and was blown away with the quality of the food and drinks, the welcome and service of the staff as well as the overall vibe of the place. I had the fry up, which was delicious. You could tell straight away all the ingredients were of top quality. The coffee, both in Latte and americano forms were also top notch. The other half had the French toast, which was outrageous. Probably about 5000 Kcals, but who cares when it's that tasty. We will certainly be back next time we are in Altrincham.

I've been going to blanchflower for a very long time and have seen it develop from a little café to a proper gastropub. The actual chef is absolutely first class and performs well above gatropub standards: every dish is fresh, imaginative and very well presented. The combination of ingredients doesn't cease to amaze me. This is a casual lunch restaurant of very high quality; probably serving the best food in Altrincham on the basis of price compared to quality. Hannah the manager is very dynamic, professional and friendly and always happy to receive constructive criticism. The service is very good in general too. I highly recommend it!

Went for a late brunch when busy, food did take a while but in the end was well worth the wait. The coffee and caramel brownie wasn’t bad either!

Blanchflower is my favorite Brunch Spot in Altrincham. The quality of food is incredible and everything tastes amazing. I love the Green Eggs with Smoked Salmon and the baked goods are also delicious. Service is great aswell, can just be a little bit noisy when its busy but the ambience and decor is lovely.

We love the bread and cakes here!! However Monday morning breakfast is expensive and utterly lacklustre with some items missing ie French toast? The coffee, and this is the 3rd time of trying, is quite the least smelling/tasting coffee I've ever experienced.Acrid and so green it tastes akin to chicory. Really, I want this place to be fabulous, as I believe it can be , I just think you've got to get the basics nailed on. Change your coffee or offer a range of coffee experiences? Good luck.

I had lunch here with my daughter and the quality of the food was fantastic. I had the salmon sandwich - it was no ordinary sandwich! The bread was so tasty and the accompanying salad was beautiful. The value for money was brilliant - I cant wait to go back and try some of the other options as the menu all sounds divine. The staff were also very friendly which made for a very enjoyable visit.

Average place for breakfast. The English breakfast was okay but nothing special, the portion was small for a full breakfast for the price of £14. The green eggs and smoked salmon however was worth the money. The coffee was rather nice also. The atmosphere was incredibly loud and I could barely have a conversation with my partner without shouting, we visited at 10:30am. Service was adequate, had to wait quite a while for the bill. Overall not a bad place for breakfast, costing us £36 for two breakfasts and two cappuccinos, which is somewhat overpriced for what we got.

Pasta too thick and Guinea fowl was very dry, carbonara pasta comes with raw Parma ham that was too fatty wouldn’t recommend to anyone need to improve the menu. Starters were nice however, had the mackerel which was delicious.

Another amazing visit. This time we took my GF’s niece for breakfast here. We were made up to see Via would be serving us again. Food was banging, atmosphere was great and Via took the time to make our little 6 year old laugh an explain the menu, always love coming here. Keep smashing it team ❤️

There’s more to Blanchflower than just soups, salads and sandwiches. Admittedly they do very agreeable versions of these, but is that really why you purposely set out from the comforts of home and purposefully ignore the wiles of Deliveroo? No. Now I don’t mean to systematically review every restaurant in Altrincham, Hale and Bowden, but it was long overdue for me to sit down and resist the temptation to wolf down viennoserie and doughnuts. Catching sight of the special, I abandoned thoughts of a beef bourguignon and ducked into Blanchflower. The vibe is relaxed and service friendly. For some reason I never feel the same putting at ease when out in Alderley Edge, go figure. After no deliberation at all, I opted for the fish pie washed down with the house white.

Very decent brunch, the salmon Benedict was just perfect with the pesto and capers. A bit disappointing that they can’t do the French toast without the alcohol but understandable as it’s already soaked with the mascarpone. Tho other option with blueberries and maple syrup wasn’t bad.

Went for a friend's birthday breakfast. Super service and the most devine large breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Get the Green Eggs.

Unfortunately I don't understand what all the rave is about with this place as I wasn't really impressed. I ordered the full breakfast, the toast was rock hard, as was the potato rosti and both were rather bland. The toast didn't come with butter either. It seems they tried to do their own twist on the beans but it just left them again tasting rather bland. The sausages were really good but they charge £2 per extra sausage which seems a little steep. I requested poached eggs and they were really quite snotty too. French toast was presented nicely, but again, not anything to rave about. Flat whites were presented nicely but were far too strong. The staff were lovely but the restaurant was so loud that you struggled to get their attention. They then add a 10% tip onto the bill without informing you which seems ridiculous as we're not in America and the price of the food feels like it should more than cover staff wages. Overall, I unfortunately don't think its somewhere I'd visit again.

Lovely full English breakfast with great quality produce, reflecting the price. Not a huge number of options on the morning menu but all sounded very yummy. Friendly, quick service, and nice outdoor seating.
