M&S Cafe !!! I would Just like to bring this to your attention that your Staff is not professional!!!! I came from Canada to visit my family here and we decided to go to M&S and have breakfast, U ordered 25£ worth food and only asked for extra cup !!!! The lady “Joe” from your staff was standing behind the cashier , cashier asked her if we can give extra cup ??? And THIS LADY SHAKED HER HEAD AND SIGHED then rudely said “alright give her extra cup !!! Being a Canadian tourist, if i knew that you guys can’t give an extra cup , i would have paid extra for a cup???? Why showing extremely bad attitude to customers like your workers own this Cafe ???? I got really disappointed with your service. Being a staff member , having pleasant personality with good manners are the basic need of each restaurant to grow well …isn’t it? Good manners are just a way of showing other people that we have respect for them.

I went into the store in the morning, with an interview in the afternoon. I asked them to please help me to look smart for the interview. They were extremely helpful and did make me look smart, and I got the job. The clothes look very smart and are machine washable, so the look that they gave me is maintainable.

Great M&S branded pasta, better quality than those offer in other groceries store like Tesco and Sainsbury's.

M&S Altrincham located on George Street in the centre of of the town in a pedestrian area with lots of car parking available close by. A well planned out store with plenty of room to move to around the store safely with clear Covid information and instruction. Cafe and toilets available on the first floor with lifts and escalators for easy access. A great selection of ladies, gents and children’s clothing and shoes. In store bakery and food hall. Helpful, friendly and cooperative staff ensure every visit is special.

M&S Cafe. Frequent customer to the Trafford Centre branch, never had a rude incident with staff in Altrincham branch, until today. The server Kayleigh informed the food was going to be delayed, okay no problem. I enquired why and all I got was attitude from then on. If she’s having a bad day, please don’t take it out on me, thanks

At least this popular retailer is stil located in Altrincham high street. There is a multistorey car park next door if you need to drive there but I normally park at the nearby Tesco and walk the 5minute distance to the town centre, easy so long as you don't over-run the 3hour time limit. Has all of the standard M&S food and clothing items and also access to their online larger furniture and household electrical items. If these are what you want will be easier to shop online in the comfort of your home and arrange a home delivery.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. The place itself is clean and not at all noisy in respect of customers and coffee machines. However, the menu is extremely restricted. Especially given the range of food that M&S sell in the Food area on the ground level. 4 options of uninspiring chilled sandwiches and 3-4 of toasties and only 3 options of jacket potato with not very inspiring fillings: cheese £6.00, beans £1 and an option to have both. Given the revenue M&S collects, make an effort!

A lot packed into a small space, good selection, generally well thought-out layout except for the fact that the children's clothing is upstairs, so everyone with a stroller has to use the lift!

Very few staff at the payment points, meaning queues built up quickly. It was extremely hot & stuffy upstairs, which did not help the situation. Usually enjoy a visit to M & S when I get the chance but not today.

Love coming here and visiting the cafe as the staff are always polite, friendly and welcoming and informative about the products they are serving. Find it bit hard to locate staff in the food hall area but are like the staff in the cafe which makes the shopping experience more enjoyable.

For the size of store, they pack a lot in without feeling cramped for room. The Cafe upstairs is great, the toilets are handy, the supermarket downstairs offers a full range of products, and the clothing has a good range, it's only the prices of the clothing that leave something to be desired, which is probably the number one reason why M&S has struggled on the clothing sales front in recent years; it cannot compete with the prices of other major high street brands. The quality of the clothing is not im question, it's always top noche.

Just made a joke with the lady on self check out about something always not working, told me it didn't concern me and turned her back on me ! Similar happened to my wife. Awful, spoke to a manager who apologised but wasn't too concerned . Looks like the special has left the shop

One of the best M&S stores that I’ve been to. Perfect stock, and probably one of the few shops that I used to see chilled cider in the ready to go area … this used to be very useful for me when I drank 😂 Also the toilets are quite clean, and the cafe is fine ..

The ladies’ toilet was a disgrace. No loo roll. Litter everywhere. Overflowing bin.

Great store which the wife can get most things she needs for the kids while we can also get tea as it has an M&S food as well. The cafe has gluten free options which is a bonus and they serve a decent cup of coffee. Lots of choices so kids are never disappointed.

Always find what I'm looking for. Great range of clothes/footwear for women, children and men. No furniture as no space as it is such a full array of goods. Food, as always, excellent and not as expensive as their historical reputation. Staff very knowledgeable about item locations, always willing to assist. Great cafe. Lift and escalator. This is a fairly decent sized M&S. The cafe is on the 1st Floor. The food at the cafe is really nice and the staff are lovely. I asked them for something not on the menu and they were really easy-going and pleasant about providing it for me. Decent food section and clothes sold here.

Excellent service and attitude, staff members went above and beyond when locating stock, great support from the store management, real team work ethic within the store.

Nice shop, nice food. Unfortunately massive let down by staff. I was practically kicked out by what I assume manager. He told us we have to make our way to the till now and was hovering over us and practically pushed us out like we would be a flock of sheeps. There still was around 5 minutes till closing... Just such a poor costumer service, shocking. Would not recommend it.

Great value for money store selling a range of products. Excellent food hall with a vast array of good quality food.

Bought my Daughter's 30th birthday cake from here. Ordered it in. Life saver. Beautiful cake. Best chocolate cake I have ever had.

Friday mornings food shelves are poorly stocked, Very disappointed with the store. Marks and Spencer’s need to revamp the food, it’s the same things they just change the packaging.
