Such a lovely place! Delicious food and great service. Would love to come back in the evening and see it it full swing!

Nice atmosphere and good service at the place. Club sandwich not like traditional club sandwich - more like bread roll with filling. But was tasty nonetheless. Sushi was very well rolled and beautifully presented - needed a tiny bit more of flavour but was still very good sushi. Was slightly disappointed with the chai latte - was expecting a readymade milky frothy tea but received a teabag in a teapot and had to ask for milk on the side.

Came here for dinner and drinks. Ordered a few cocktails and they were all equally fabulous. Lovely staff and amazing service. The food they served were an absolute delight and tasted heavenly. Totally loved this place and will definitely be coming back!

I had a couple of hours to kill by myself in Altrincham. The market was too busy, so I thought I'd try the Con Club. It's an attractive venue, and a Sunday roast sounded good. As nice as the restaurant looks, I found it quite noisy. If I was with someone, I think I'd struggle to hear them without them raising their voice. Not a major issue but worth noting. I ordered roast lamb, but it seemed to be roast beef that I was given. I like beef, so it didn't seem worth complaining about. What I did have a problem with was that it cost £18.50 for one of the smallest roast dinners I have ever been served. You get a nice big Yorkshire pudding which pads out the plate and probably costs a couple of pence to make. Below that are a couple of slices of nice meat, then below that a tiny portion of veg, including one roast potato and a small piece of broccoli. As disappointing as the portion size was, the food itself was nice. Unfortunately, the company then have the audacity to add a 15% service charge on too. I dislike this trend at the best of times, but I'd pay 7.5% or 10% without too much of an issue. 15%, on the other hand, is absolutely ridiculous. I was only there for about 30 mins. All they did was bring me one beer and a plate of food. I then had to awkwardly tell them to remove the service fee. Surely a company charging a premium price for their food can also afford to pay their staff a decent wage in the first place?

Food was alright. A bit overpriced for what it's worth. Service was acceptable.

Fantastic team of genuine people. We had a great family meal in a vibrant atmosphere. The food was on point, delicious and served with great personality. I highly recommend the dessert platter, oh my word. Thank you guys.

This place is busy and loud. Menu choices are a bit boring but food is alright..

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Had two roasts, one beef, one lamb. Both were amazing. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back again to try the rest of the menu.

Had been to Con Club many many times, love this restaurant and highly recommended. Today, a friend has visited from far far away home town, therefore , brought him to one of the favourite places. Everyone were more than satisfied. Nice staffs, great foods, relax atmosphere. Specially like their Sunday Roast menu.

Had a wonderful lunch here last weekend - we have been numerous times but only for a drink - this time we ate and it was amazing, my partner used to own sushi restaurants and said their salmon was the freshest he had ever eaten! I had the katsu rolls, they were absolutely amazing, we got a kids meal and took half of it home it was a huge portion which is great! Great red wine as always!!

Eat here as a meal for two - two mains, two sides two deserts and two soft drinks- North of £100. Was expecting a fine dining meal; the food didn't disappoint at all but I didn't quite think it was up to the standards charged for. The Pork belly went really well with the red Thai curry and accompaniment, but was a little overcooked and I found it not quite rich enough. It was lacking some rice to go with it. There was rice - about 4 grains on top, but a small mound of rice would have made all the difference to this dish. Its a busy restaurant- I wouldn't say noisy but vibrant. There is a lot of front of house staff - i counted 12 at one point - far too many in my opinion in a restaurant of this size, but we certainly didn't have to wait to order or get plates cleared. Well worth a visit and it seems very popular with the people who can afford it. Not sure if I would choose to visit again though.

What an amazing dining experience! It was our first visit and definitely won’t be the last. Friendly staff, excellent service and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun…can’t wait to come back. 5 ⭐️

Very nice place if you want to enjoy anything from breakfast, lunch or dinner meals to just cocktails. I went for lunch and had a few starters plus a delicious Salt & Pepper Tofu with crispy noodles and vermicelli. The restaurant is also very clean and staff very polite. I personally don't like places where there is loud music but I understand it's the norm mainly in these kind of restaurants specialised in cocktails. Despite that , there were few families with children and elderly people who were enjoying having their meals.

My other half fancied a cooked breakfast and so we chose to try this place Loved the interior, just fab with the hanging glitter balls ... large windows gave the place such a bright and airy feel to it Open kitchen was nice as you could see food prep etc ... one chef picked up the largest fresh salmon by the gills ....looked amazing We all ordered from the breakfast menu and couldn't fault the food ... I had pancakes with crispy bacon 🥓 it was perfect, really tasty I have a thing about coffee being served at room temperature, not hot ...I do know about scolding the milk etc .... however it's how I like it ... I did ask for it extra hot, I always do and it wasn't ... it's a little thing that kind of annoys me ... however the coffee was nice even though it was served warm Had a lovely morning here

After reading the reviews I didn't know what to expect but we decided to give the Con Club a whirl. So glad we did. Despite being very busy, we were shown to a table the service was brilliant the waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive. The food was amazing, coming from a hospitality/chef background working at top hotels my husband was a very happy man. Tasty, perfectly seasoned and presented. We will certainly be back and would highly recommend a night out here.

I visited The Con Club with my husband and my 4 year old son. All the staff were very helpful and super friendly. They interacted with my son and the whole experience was enjoyable. The food was great and came out really fast too. Lovely vibe inside and relaxing. Thank you to management who trained their staff so well, you're doing a great job ☺️

Lovely place, the food was so good.... especially the chicken. Great place for a few drinks or bite to eat. Good atmosphere and the staff were great too. Definitely recommend :)

It's okay 🤷🏼‍♂️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ If other places were full, I'd eat here again. I wouldn't actively return as the food was only okay. We were originally going to order a chicken club then saw the table opposite had and changed our minds - it looked very unappetising 👎🏻 🐔 The best were the tempura prawns 🍤 Albeit, even they could have had a little more crunch 💥 White wine served less than cold but not quite warm - had to ask for ice 🧊 (appreciate some people are fine with that each to their own) 👌🏻 Staff are all nice though 🙏🏻 💜 LGBTQ+ friendly 🌈 xx

Went in at 11am and waited over an hour for mushrooms / poached eggs on toast with added bacon and my partner ordered avocado & scrambled eggs & salmon I had a feeling we were forgotten about and ordered smoothies which we waited a good 20 minutes for and they weren’t busy. Kept having to get staff attention to ask where our drinks / food were & swapping glasses as they had lipstick marks on. A couple arrived after us and got their food / drinks straight away before us. Okay the food was good and just asked for the bill straight away while we were eating which they added 15% service charge (optional) which felt a-bit elephant in the room personally, which I thought was steep and didn’t feel like we had the best service just me trying to get their attention every time and waited so long for our food too, being in hospitality industry myself how service charge has always been added for 6 + people on a table not for a couple but won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Wow! What a wonderful venue, amazing food and exceptional staff (Nadiya) friendly, professional and really helpful. A credit to the Con Club!!!! 5 star!!!! We had vegetarian and beef roasts which were delicious! Flavoursome , great portions, best roast we’ve had! We also had lemon tart and a sharing profiteroles ( a mixture of ice cream/ brownies/ marshmallows/ profiteroles. All absolutely delicious. Thank you. We will be back 😃🏆🙌

Went last night (Sat) Food fantastic, staff superb but the atmosphere for me was ruined by the extremely loud music. We sat there in silence for a lot of the time as we couldn't hear ourselves speak. Real shame

Well where to begin.staff amazing and so welcoming,couldn't do enough to ensure that we had an amazing night and never went without a drink in hand. Their personalities were infectious and made our night even better. Well done guys your doing an amazing job and we will defo be back x

Great food, attentive service, slight delay on the desserts but they were worth the wait.

Really good night. Me and my partner went to celebrate her birthday. I asked for some presents to be held behind the bar and one one the members of staff Conner was more than happy to help. He also made an effort to make sure we were looked after and made the evening very special. Can't thank him or the rest of the staff enough I will definitely be returning.

Great bar with a fab atmosphere. Really good drink selection, the campari spritz and espresso martini particularly good. Friendly and attentive servers. We didn't eat on this occasion, will definitely be back to try the sushi and sashimi selection.

Popped in Friday 16/10/21.The place was busy and operating a table serving service. Great evening but I would reccomended a notice board upon entry so as to help staff stop continously explaining the table service system. People popped in and left as they could not find any seats so they could be disappointed with what is a great environment with commitment from floor staff and bar staff alike . Thanks
