Food was really lovely took a bit of time to come to us and the pub was quiet. Nice place to eat and have drinks. Shame not all the staff had smiles on thier faces. Saw one member of staff kissing his girlfriend which I thought was inappropriate no name badges on staff so hard to give praise where its due.

Great service. Big comfy seats. Fireplace Tv area & Quiet area. Dart board and beer garden. Good beer and crisp selection.ticks all the boxes

I am really impressed by The King George now, its always felt cold, and drab, and I have rarely seen any other customers. Today....its fabulous. Great atmosphere, warm and welcoming. Absolutely no reason to leave. Staff are friendly and helpful. We might just have found our new favourite spot. Dog friendly, child friendly, and definitely family friendly. Not sure what's changed but it certainly works.

First visit. Great choice of beers, especially cask ales. 6 staff behind the bar showed they were more than ready to handle large crowds after the Alty match and crowds watching City v Liverpool

Called with family one lunchtime. The whole pub had an overpowering smell of bleach. Disappointed with the fish in batter. It was overcooked and the batter wasn't crispy and light as it usually is. Had it before but unlikely to order it again.

What a gem of a place.🌟 Nice, clean well looked after pub. Plenty of screens to watch sport. The staff are all very friendly and the prices are great. The food though, is truly exceptional, honestly first class. Tastes amazing..😋 I had the spinach & mushroom ravioli in a truffle sauce, my partner had the vegetarian sausage and mash. Extremely glad we went in there, highly recommended..👍🏻

Nice pub. Excellent for a pre match pint. Plenty of chats with home fans. I would definitely go there again.

I have visited The King George a few times over the last few months with my dad. I live in NW Lancashire and my dad lives in Altrincham. When I visit, we tend to go out to eat, and I can honestly say the this is my favourite go to pub. Friendly staff Great service and lovely Bruno (the pub dog) an all round great venue. Pretty good local. JWLees beers and some bought-ins. Close to Alty FC. Not eaten here for a long time, but I understand it's improved.

Nice pub for families. They sometimes have a bouncy castle out in sunny days — my kids loved it. Plenty of vegetarian food options, too. The Sunday Roast was particularly good.

Nice pub. Popped in for coffee before the girls football match. Pleasant environment, wellcoming staff and great service. Pop in, you won't be disappointed

Popped into The King George with a Friend of mine, my 1st Time. We sat at the Bar, my Friend was warmly greeted by the Landlord with a Hearty Handshake and a Pleasant greeting. We sat at the Bar and ordered a Guinness and a Pint of Bitter.. as we got down to near the Bottom of the Glass we were cheerfully asked by the attending Bar staff would we like another. This carried on throughout our Stay. We had a Very Pleasant experience AND even Bumped into some old Friends quite unexpectedly. A Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thank you

The food is absolutely amazing. The service excellent. My only input would be to maybe start upgrading slightly. Like replace the carpet.

Just had a wake there for my late mother. I really can't folt them the staff and food was very good and loads of food 5 starts from me.

I ordered the chicken club, it was really good and the serving time was ok too. Lola, the waitress was super friendly and helpful, she gave us great recommendations on not only the food but other local places.

Friendly warm reception from staff, outside area genrally unclean with left over glasses and plates, side garden at rear overgrown next to Orchard Drive un cared for, used to be very well maintained which let's Pub down

Awful pub! Aggressive staff - one actually confronted me after me just asking a simple question about my food, slow service, terrible atmosphere. I will never step foot in this place again, truly the worst customer service I have ever come across. Would recommend to stay as far away as you can, go to the Railway down the road much nicer!
