Smaller pub with extra seating upstairs, no music/tv on upstairs however as we were the only people up there (probably would've turned it on if we asked but shouldn't have to ask really) more expensive than other pubs in the area but this is probably due to it being right next to the tram station. Friendly staff and decent beer. Worth drinking in if you can sit downstairs or if it's busier upstairs with more of an atmosphere.

Really nice pub. Staff are all very friendly and good at their jobs. The table service they provide is extremely efficient and it’s well worth a visit. Very pleased I went and will be going again.

Friendly staff, good range of draft and cask beers as well as a seasonal cask ale that changes throughout the year. Great atmosphere on match days as well as on the weekends and event days. Nice, heated outdoor area with a tv that's rolled out on match days as well as a number of different screens inside. Small, but cozy with an upstairs area that can be hired out for private functions I believe. Right next to Brooklands tram stop for when you need to get home or when your heading to town or the football after a few pints in the brook. A good place to stop for a drink after walking along the canal too! Overall just a brilliant little pub who do an excellent pint of Guinness by the way!

Looks cute from the outside but clientele inside is not exactly the kind of people you want to hang out with. Also, bar staff doesn’t seem to know how to use a jigger/measure cup. I ordered two large (250ml) glasses of wine and the blonde lady with glasses didn’t even fill the jigger to the relevant level. I ended up with two glasses with different amount of wine and certainly below the standard measure seize. Not impressed at all. 👎🏻 I tired this place once and definitely won’t be back.

Really nice pub. Can be rammed and can be quiet at times but always a nice pint. Good Guiness. Upstairs room too.

This is a pub we have frequented on and off over the years, sometimes when Sale Sharks were at Heywood Road in the good old days. We have drunk in here on a few occasions but sometimes put off by the lack of space, but only a couple of months ago realised it had a nice seating area upstairs also. We happened by this week, and it was a Thursday, so we decided to see if it was OK on a quiet early evening and we weren't disappointed. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly, and there was plenty of room to relax. Good vibe, and we will be back. Went in again tonight, and we've discovered a problem with the pub. After going in a few times over the last few weeks, they have the annoying habit of putting the same loop of music on time and time again, and it doesn't change. I had a word with the staff behind the bar and asked why this music never changed, one of them was too busy on her mobile phone to look up, so no response there, the other staff a gentleman and lady said they couldn't change the music as it was beyond their control. The pub is very good apart from the revolving music and the mobile obsessed lady who didn't have the curtesy to thank us when we returned our glasses and ice bucket the last time we gave them our custom.

Excellent bar with the superb JW Lees ales. Great screens for live sports too.

Nice pint of MPA and smart barman who was super polite. The pub itself was quite lacklustre. Very weird smell that unless it was one of the clientele, they really need to sort. Looks alright for the football. Outside area is relatively decent if you like the sights of people getting picked up from the tram intermittently.

I have been coming this pub regularly for over 3 days now and can’t rave about it enough! The staff are always there to serve you and make sure everyone follows the social distancing rules! There one bar maid called ruddy who went the extra mile to make sure my table always had full drinks, big shout out to her!!! ***** will be going again!
