Having a brilliant meal at Green Dragon Lymm the food is absolutely delicious and the service is brilliant thank you to all the staff. Definitely recommend

Lovely place, service good, but over priced steak, the chips cooked once too many times in the fryer (sent them back once but next lot just as over cooked and fatty), add to that a salad which was drenched in too much oil. Plus a pizza barely cooked. Maybe the other Mediterranean food is better which is the speciality but can't recommend the food we had at the price point

About Average quite expensive food not that great probably wouldn’t choose to go there again but have eaten at worse places. Service very attentive and efficient very good service

My family and I decided to change it up and try something different from our favourite family pub in Chorlton and glad we did. The place felt warm, homely and inviting. They allow for dogs which adds to the ambient mood in the pub The food and service was great and really couldn't fault the service. We had what I believe was the restaurant manager and he was very polite and courteous. The general staff who served us the food was also the same. The food was lovely and both my boys ate all their food. I thought the children menu pick and mix meal was something different and refreshing. Overall it's a cracking family pub hidden away in Lymm.

Always a pleasure to dine here. Came for a treat with my Son & Partner for my Birthday. High quality of service, presentation and excellent cuisine. Also fabulous Gin Cocktail Menu. Highly Recommend.

We booked for Sunday lunch at 615pm, and were reliably informed, that it would still be available. As soon as we sat down ,we were told, no beef available, that was the only carved meat they did , so we had lamb rump £4 extra served pink, no it was over cooked . We ordered cauliflower cheese as a side, no none available, the roasted root veg and potatoes were hardly roasted ,the inclusive green vegetables and mint sauce, didn't arrive until we chased them, so the rest of the meal went cold. Poor service. very disappointing

A bit disappointed with the Green Dragon tonight, table for 7 adults plus 1 child. Lovely table and seated immediately only to be given, worn out, food and drink stained menu’s that had not been wiped down. The cleanliness of the menus didn’t give much confidence to the hygiene of the pub or food to come. First impressions last!!! The full service lasted 2.5hrs, food and drink was okay but the Mixed Kebabs at around £24 each had morsel sized meat. The chicken dishes came over dried and we know why this happens and for £190 we could have spent the money better elsewhere. The Bill wasn’t correct and took two attempts of making it right. On the night we had an average meal and it was nothing special, the food, drink stained menus that had not been cleaned were really off putting. Overall a 3 star - the staff were lovely but lacked the passion for overall cleanliness. Pride must come from and driven from the top, I feel that the pride wasn’t there on the day and this is why we will not eat there again.

Only 4 stars as the waitress messed the bill up twice. Other than that, a nice evening. Food pretty good although my daughter opted for a vegan dish ( can't remember what it was) but it was a bit spicy for her. I would go again but it's a fair distance for a meal.

Lym Ego's Restaurant is Excellent like the Stockton Heath one. Great Food Great Service Great Atmosphere with outside and inside tables!

Been here a few times over the last couple of months and not been disappointed in anything at all food amazing staff great and pub and grounds very well kept shoutout to Hannah I think is her name exceptional member of staff a huge credit to the place

We called in, after driving past and deciding we were hungry. So glad we did. They were busy but managed to squeeze us in. The atmosphere was lovely, calm and welcoming. We had the Moroccan Lamb, wow it was delicious, certainly has a kick to it. The pizza garlic bread with cheese has to be the best I have ever tasted. The young man who served us was ever so pleasant, he looked after us perfectly, not in our faces but not invisible either. Overall, we had a fabulous time here. We will definitely be going again to

Fantastic meal for four on Father's Day. Steak cooked to perfection with creamy peppercorn sauce and just enough fries. Washed down by a couple of pints of Camden Hells! Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

Lovely staff & warm decor of the restaurant. Food was nice a touch expensive for a basic Greek salad was £14.95 however it was lovely. Had an issue with one of the meals which was rectified promptly and courteously. Would visit again. Thanks

Always a delight to visit..food excellent..not overloaded just right especially when you have a fussy mother!😅 Loads to choose from the menu..spoilt for choice and all freshly cooked. Service is excellent..always helpful and friendly. Definitely serve with a smile.

Excellent food and service. My first visit but will not be the last. Prices are not too high but the quality of food more than justifies this anyway.

It was fine ,food could've been a bit warmer but ok, service was good no complaints, nice pint of Estrella , put the top hat on a nice meal 👍

Being a vegan it was nice to see a full dedicated vegan menu and not some added afterthought as a token of not being seen to be prejudiced as in most other eateries. In times of food production and waste being a very culpable part of our global climate change individual changes matter. So bravo to Ego for offering the chance for people to make healthy and ethical choices

Fabulous food and service. I visited with 19 friends from my local cycling club. We booked in advance and were seated together with ample space. Food arrived promptly and tasted fabulous 😋 I'd recommend the Green Dragon for everyone. As it's close to the TPT, it's a great place to stop on your journey.
