No customer care, very bad attitude, steak swimming in sauce. Other restaurants would and do welcome feedback. It's how they stay open. Not here. It has good choice of food but the Steak sandwich was smothered in loads of sauce. No one wants 27 tonnes of sauce, you had to find the steak. Way too much sauce, no standards before food sent out. It could have been cardboard, you couldn't taste the meat, which made it pointless. At these prices you hope they had some skills? I took back the food to offer feedback, and they couldn't care. Zero care. They just said ok. And ignored us....No refund, no replacement. In Lisbon we sent back a steak for a similar issue and the owner's came out to thank us, to adapt, to keep customers. A free replacement, and we return lots to that restaurant. No customer ...no business. So we won't go back. Others restaurants would act, welcome feedback and offer some service. Not here. The Market is a bit boring, and very limited breakfast options. A nice cafe is just outside the Market on a corner, so we all use that.

Have to say disappointed with the food. Asked for a Crispy bacon,and egg on sour dough. Waiting Tim was fine about 10 minutes,but the Hall had no heating on and it was very cold and drafty. 2 slices of non crispy bacon on a buttered Bap wasn't what I asked for. Very overpriced at £8.50. We won't be returning.

Just had a quick takeaway breakfast. Absolutely amazing food! OMG! Best meat dishes in altrincham hands down.

The beef sausage and egg bun is great. Will be trying something off the lunch menu next time

Everyone rates this place, but my steak was COLD and way too salty. It is difficult to get seats at Altrigham food market on a Saturday. Overpriced for steak and chips. Basic pub food. Would not eat again.

Burgers have been terrible the last two occasions. The beef has obviously not been de-gristled before mincing. It’s also minced on too big a mincer plate, so you get the gristle in your mouth. Very tough also. Flavour non existent. It really is a burger that needs completely reworking from, meat, mincer, flavour, toppings. Staff can also be up their own backside, they act like they are changing the world, they are flipping burgers.

Horrible service! They first charge you without advising how long it take to get the food. I waited for 30 min to get a steak and then ordered extra bread which had to wait another 10 min to get the bread! I complained and their response was if i still want the bread!!

Unfortunately overpriced for an average English breakfast. Was good but for £15 it felt a bit steep... The meat was good quality but just not enough of it. Probably about 15 baked beans in a tiny pot, however Hash brown was amazing can't fault that.

Ordered steak and eggs (£18) the steak was nice, the eggs were to cooked, and that’s it, nothing else comes with it (there is sauce, too much, too oily) for a pricey plate you could expect more, I won’t recomend it.

One of the best breakfast i had in UK, amazing choices, pizza is really great, egg benedicte was a great choice as well with avocado

I always go to Altrincham Market with good intentions: "this time, I will try something else." More often than not, I end up having the Tender Cow Burger again, because it never fails to delight. Just writing this is making my mouth water! TENDER COW PLEASE NEVER CHANGE

The guy who served me this morning couldn’t give less of a damn about customers. When asked about allergens, just shrugged and said “dunno” - and then when asked to swap something just in case, he just said “no.” Nothing else. Honestly Altrincham Market has never been the cheapest of places, but the price vs quality of food is ridiculous when given the context of the service I received at Tender Cow. Altrincham Market is trying to sell an experience, and food stations who couldn’t care less about their customers don’t really add to that.

Food was a little slow but very friendly waiters. I enjoyed my bacon and egg sandwich and the hash brown was cooked perfectly but i didnt enjoy it as much as it was a large oblong so the surface area to volume ratio was all off and it wasnt the most enjoyable experience. Change the shape and it will be perfect :)

Absolutely fabulous steak and burgers. They are definitely worth the calories.

Breakfast was overpriced for poached eggs and bread. Meat was good. Service quite slow.

Lovely fish and chips, but £14 is a bit pricey, still can't beat the Don for price and taste, bigger fish and bigger chips, would only use tender cow as a treat

Amazing steak and triple cooked chips. Worthy ever penny. You pay twice as much to get a steak this good in a nice restaurant.

I love TC’s burgers! I was really hoping that this would be the same quality as the Tender Cow in Mackie Mayor. Unfortunately, the quality wasn’t as good mid week. The burger was soggy and the chips were over salted. Hoping this was a temporary blip.

Steak was amazing. Obviously would have liked more. Chips are fairly filling though so very good meal overall

The food is tasty but by Jove do these guys have some attitude! Such a poor level of service for the price. Not going again when there are so many other lovely places to eat in Alty.

I visit this marvelous restaurant many times as I love the special air that is exist in this restaurant. The crew is very attentive and professional. The service is pretty fast. Also, the food you eat is highly distinguished. I visited more than once and I was always pleased. The price is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to to everybody.

Best steak sandwich I have ever eaten.

Food is excellent. Not the cheapest place you'll ever eat at but the quality is exceptional.

I had the steak sandwich and it was very good! The steak was super tender and delicious, I love the combination with the caramelised onions.

1st time visiting today, I went for the steak sandwich and wow easily the best steak sandwich I have ever had, steak was prepared beautifully, the bread was lovely and the butter and sauce complimented is so well. May try the steak and eggs next
