Worst service.. i would give negative stars if allowed to.. The guy at the telephone taking order is unprofessional and has a foul mouth. Does not have decency to talk to customer. Ordered through a popular app and the home delivery took ages to come .. upon enquiries the guy at the telephone behaved in an unprofessional manner. Food was not very edible . I don't recommend this restaurant.

The food from these guys is far the best Indian in Altrincham/Broadheath area, however, recently they've started cancelling orders on Uber Eats if it's below £15 and they made me aware of this in an awful way. I live alone and often don't order enough to spend £15 so this has really put me off these guys, who I used to order from regularly. First they just started randomly cancelled the orders, then after me trying to order again after the cancellation, thinking it was in error, they'd eventually make it and deliver, but then I was told by the delivery driver that they won't accept below £15 again, gave me a sob story about how it's not profitable for them to do so, trying to guilt me into making me feel bad, like it was my fault. Like, if it's a problem, then maybe set the minimum order to £15 maybe on Uber Eats? Or add a small order fee. Or you know, take that up with Uber Eats? Don't instead make a regular customer feel awful for wanting to spend money with you.

Used this place a few times during the pandemic, always chose to pick up and always got the food nice and fast, and still piping hot. This time we ordered fish pakora which was lovely, lamb chops which were slightly too chargrilled for my liking, chicken tikka rogan josh and chicken bhuna. The curries were very tasty and the chicken was tender and chunky. They even threw in some free poppadoms with a couple of dips. Great value and will definitely continue as a repeat customer

I have been given no choice but to leave a 1 star review can't give 0. The mannerism of the counter staff who deal with the customer assumed to be the same ones answering the phone need getting rid of fast. If you don't your business will fail. It's a shame since the food is really good, a credit to the chef. There are plenty of other good establishments in the area who don't subject customers to this rude treatment, unless you are happy with this I would look elsewhere as I will be doing. WARNING to the owner of Saffron Balti, look after your customers since they are the heart of your business and its success, good luck you need it.

This establishment need to learn to stop being rude to their customers and remember that without those customers they are nothing!

Always nice food but on last three deliveries they have managed to add a nan to the order and charge ! - I didn't mind the first time but wondered why this happened another two times?? (..by the way the nan was also very nice !) After writing this I ordered another take away and guess what?...yes they added another nan that I had not ordered and charged for it. Sorry but this cannot be a coincidence ??!!! If they do it to you do not pay for it ! I have taken a star off for this even though their food is great ! Update... this has just happened again!!! One more time and down to one star even though food is great !!! This can’t be a coincidence... if it is I’ll buy a lottery ticket or ten instead!!

Gone down hill, very unfriendly staff, I enquired about a free bottle of Coke I was promised on just eat when I collected, however they tried to charge me for it and responded “right bye“ when I told him I would show him on the app, not going back there.

I have been a regular customer for almost 6 years and I have always been very happy with the food and the service, regardless of how I ordered (via an app or in the restaurant). When we fancy Indian food, this is our go-to place. No other Indian restaurant even comes close. The food is always fresh, piping hot, perfectly balanced, and the service is always so pleasant. Even my little one, who is one very picky eater, adores the food from Saffron Balti. We order more or less the same every time; onion bhaji, peshawari naan, egg rice, and chicken tikka makhani or chicken tikka masala. Highly recommended!

Good taste, just one thing, instead of potatoes curry can you replace it with any other veg curry please?

Ate inside a couple of times previously, this time ordered a take away absolutely beautiful, and spoken to a lovely gentleman who didn’t mind delivering food to apartment door as live in an apartment block, some delivery drivers have problem with delivering to your door! (Although you pay for delivery service!) Thankyou so much for nice service and amazing food.

Would not give these con artists a star. They messed my order up to the point it wasn't edible. My special kebab arrived swimming in chili sauce. I asked for no naan bread on one of the kebabs and they both came with no bread. I also ordered a drink which didn't come. I rang the restraunt to be hung up on and told it was my order. The rude guy on the phone also said the drink was in the bag. When quite clearly it wasn't. He then put the phone down on me. I rang back he said he would refund me a can from my order. To this point I told him he has a foul attitude and I want the full refund. He said take it up with just eat. Absolute fraud of a gaff 2 Bob outfit.

Offically the WORST KEBAB IN TRAFFORD! Salad consisted of only lettuce, most of which was BROWN (see image).Two tiny seekh kebabs. Oh, and this kebab was also forgotten in the order and was eventually delivered and hour and a half later woth a very half arsed apology!

Low price, not so great taste and small portion sizes, basically you get what you pay for. On the upside - the staff was courteous and the collection was on - time. One of the dish I ordered (mixed kebabs) was not what they described in the menu (mix of different variety of kebabs) instead, it was just a couple of lamb chops inside. Could have been genuine mistake!

Great food and service. Had the madras and jalfrezi chicken was tender. Will be ordering again.

Saffron balti is my favourite place to order from and I order from here far too much for someone who dreams of being healthy, but the food is too good so our five into the temptation every time! The staff are amazing and I won’t go anywhere else! Well done to them for providing me with such tasty deliciousness

Outstanding! Amazing food, the meal was beautiful, really enjoyed it, Great Selection and everything is cooked fresh. The Sagaloo was Gorgoeus, and I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Bhuna Masala 👌

Fantastic takeaway. We are big Indian Cuisine fans and have been impressed by everything we have had from Saffron Balti - would recommend the Chicken Pakora to everyone!

I'm currently waiting for this restaurant to deliver and have been waiting 2hrs. I honestly can't believe how long it's taking! To make it even worse, no one's picking up their phone! I want my money back and I won't ever use this place again!

I'm a regular. I love the food, however everytime I order there's always something missing. Please start double checking orders before sending them out!

Will never order from here again, i was waiting outside for my order, the bloke never even got out of his car, just lied to uber eats and said they couldn’t contact me, total losers!
