Nice old pub with an old cosy bar. Plenty of seating at back for diners. About 4 ales on. Timothy Taylor landlord on draught. 🍻

Beautiful country pub next to Dunham Massey park. Low beams, flagged floors and real fires. Dog friendly. Good selection of real ales too. Expensive though.

Fantastic pub with log fires and observed it is dog πŸ• friendly. Had a fantastic lunch can recommend the home made steak and ale pie washed down by quality pint of real ale. We visited on a Thursday lunch time. The pub opens at miday and people were waiting for the doors to open, very popular. Would highly recommend.

Very, very pretty. Seems really popular, food has huge portions and is delicious. At peak times service can be a little slow, but that's no fault of theirs - after all, it's no fast-food place. Real quality food. Brilliant atmosphere, very popular with dog owners. Super friendly.

Nice and quiet lovely staff plenty of parking, but we found the food a little expensive. I'm not sure how much the garlic bread was, but the chunky chips Β£3.50 and the ploughman's was Β£18

Perplexing experience. Greeted on arrival with a menu and clear instructions to order at the bar yet when I tried to order at the bar I was told they couldn't take my order as the kitchen was too busy and it would be a 10-15 minutes wait until I could. I ordered a drink and sat outside in the beer garden pictured before returning to place an order, only to be told the same thing. After asking how I'd know when I could potentially order food I was told 'they could take orders in maybe an hour or so... but maybe not'..... On my way out I overheard a member of staff tell another couple they could order so very selective to who they serve. As we left we spoke with another group and they had all had a similar experience so we all opted to go over to the Little Manor which was fantastic. The Jolly Thresher up the road is a great alternative. All in all this place turned out to be a waste of time but granted the Guinness was lovely! A simple way of covering all bases when running a pub would be - don't give menus out when the kitchen is full and or advise that there could be a wait on taking food orders... also be consistent with whatever communication you make... its that easy!

Solid, traditional pub. Dogs allowed (required) in the bar area. Good base to grab lunch, then off for a walk around Dunham Massey or along the canal.

A friendly and traditional pub. Very cosy inside and a great place to sit out. Very sunny and easy to park. Off the bestest track and really near Dunham park for a little stroll after you have eaten.

Always lovely in there, low beams a real old pub atmosphere barmaids are friendly and always happy to help, had a coachkeeper reserve pint it was the best pint I’ve had in years! I haven’t had food in there for a few years but I believe it’s still wonderful!

Can dine in or out. Great atmosphere near greenery. Great selection of food, including onion rings where you can taste the onions! Some of the best onions I’ve ever had, in fact.

Had a family meal here with both adults and kids, there is a great selection on the menu and several veggie options. I had an epic slab of cheese pie that was delicious! We all enjoyed our food and the staff were so nice and accommodating.

Traditional style pub building. Lots of parking available at the back. The place was lovely and warm with the weather being freezing outside. I had the salmon which was very nice. Vegetables could have been fresher. Desserts were excellent.

Great cosy pub with delicious food offerings. It can get really busy, especially at weekends so it's best to book where possible. There's a main restaurant section and a bar area which is dog friendly. Service is usually quick and courteous too.

Called in after a long walk , greeted by a lovely , friendly host . Took to a table straight away, drinks order taken & menu provided. Fish & chips was very good , too big for the plate ! My partner had quiche absolutely delicious, it does not feel like pub grub at all. For me it was the service , so friendly & welcoming , first time in here & enjoyed our time alot. Thanks very much .

Went for a nice lunch out with some family friends. Lovely building and very nice indoor/outdoor seating. Food was excellent and a wide range on the menu. Staff were mostly of a good standard however some inexperience was apparent. Facilities were of a decent standard. Overall a very pleasant meal out.

Great atmosphere, great service, really enjoyed the steak pie (full of meat), chorizo pasta & button mushrooms, yum. Good inside & out.

Good pub food but quite expensive. The starters in particular were pricey. There were a number of real ales - always nice to see - and lots of outdoor table seating. Service was good and quite quick. Overall a nice place for a drink and a meal - but it will cost you!

What can I say about the Swan with two Nicks, my local, superb meals, English country pub with proper, good food that hits the spot (every time)... Visiting the Swan is important to my quality of life and mental wellbeing. Would always reccomend (unless I needed the table)...

Delightful country pub. Kid and dog friendly (very). Large car park and tonnes of outdoor seating, much of it covered. Atmospheric interior, extensive food menu, good choice of hand-pulled ales, and reasonable prices for the quality of the food. Very friendly staff.
