Good service and really enjoyed the food. The chicken I had was cooked well, very tender. Would definitely go back.

Picked up a take away from there. The food is delicious. The staff were friendly. You get 15% off take away orders. I would highly recommend. On my picture the place looks empty because it was 6:30 in the evening.

Sadly the new chef doesn't seem to have found his rhythm yet. The amazing Himalayan Gosht and Home Style Chicken Curry are not a patch on what they once were and are now mediocre and bland excuses for currys. So disappointed... :(

Nice good mix of variety Nepalese and Indian. The grilled platter we had was very nice. Would say service is quite slow however but they were kind

AMAZING EVERY TIME ⭐️ My family and I often get takeaways and meals from here. I’m usually quite fussy with menus and pick the same things over again, but the menu here is exceptional. I have chosen differently every time & haven’t been let down once yet! So many great & unique options- many Nepalese twists on popular Indian dishes (also very vegetarian & pescatarian friendly!). Portion sizes are great & very reasonable for the quantity/ restaurant prices in the area

A nice place for Nepalese food. We tried the Momos and I ordered a spicy chicken curry, egg fried egg and a garlic naan bread! We were pleased!

The menu is extensive and nicely curated! You get authentic Nepali dishes here which are β€˜HOT’ hot but they also serve popular Indian dishes with their own spin on it.

Excellent fodder! They also dropped off some missing poppadoms within 5 minutes once I let them know. Top marks all round.

Really disappointing experience. Arrived on time to collect a take away. Was told it would be 5 minutes. After 15 minutes asked where our order was. Told that is would be 5 mins. Asked again shortly after and told chef had burnt the mains and had to recook. Spent over 30 mins in what was a clearly understaffed resteraunt with not even a complementary drink offered. Really poor. Avoid.

Visited here today and had a great meal. The Gurkha beer is really nice, I told myself I'd only have one as they're 660ml but I ended up having 2 as they were so good. Ended up having the mixed main as a starter but if I went again I'd just have several portions of the lamb chops, the rest of the meat was very nice (quite spicy for anyone worried about spice) but the lamb chops were amazing. Had the duck masala main and the lamb Gurkha curry, would highly recommend the Gurkha Curry it was fantastic, the duck was nice it's different than most Curries so if you want something more aromatic it's something to try. Bread was nice, poppadoms nice and the chutneys were good too. Between 2 of us spent Β£77 but had separate sides, rice's and effectively 3 main courses and a couple of beers/soft drinks so I'd say it was good value for the quality and quantity of meat. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

We had a lovely meal tonight. Cannot fault the food, I would recommend the tandoori king prawns and lamb Gurkha curry! Lost a star on the atmosphere as the restaurant was cold, I also think the interior could be improved with more colour and creativity! My picture shows the sizzling tandoori mixed grill..

Wonderful food and service. Just had a lovely meal at Kathmandu Kitchen with my parents and was very impressed. The food was fresh, perfectly spiced and authentic. In addition to the traditional Indian dishes, there were some unique Nepalese dishes on the menu for anyone fancying a change. Sherpa lamb curry was one such dish and was simply delicious - exquisitely tender pieces of lamb served with potatoes in a hearty flavoursome sauce. The portions were generous and accompanying garlic naan/onion kulcha baked to perfection in the tandoor. Denish the manager was a genial, mild-mannered and very attentive host and we were very well looked after by him and his team. Final bill was very reasonable. Clear to see why this family-run restaurant has so many positive reviews and why the Nepalis rank amongst some of the finest chefs in India. Go! You wont be disappointed.

I've been ordering from these guys since I found them over a year ago. The food is consistently unreal. I've been meaning to write a review, but yesterday I ordered again as usual and the food was absolutely amazing. I've ordered curries from many places and I'm half Pakistani and I can honestly say, yesterday, the Lamb and spinach curry you made me was probably the best curry I've ever had in my life. The starters, chicken pakoras and bhajis were exquisite. And to add a cherry on top, the workers there are all very friendly, courteous and humble. Thank you so much guys. Your standard haven't slipped once since I've been ordering from you. Please keep it up.

This is an exceptional restaurant. The food is excellent, the best Indian food I have had for quite a long time. They have the usual Indian favourites (eg onion bhaji, chicken korma etc) but also some different Nepali dishes. I would definitely recommend.

This is a regular favourite that we've missed during lockdown. It's great to be back and we'll definitely be coming back. Always worth a visit!

Lovely Nepalese style cuisine! Recommend the momos for a starter, it comes with a great chutney. The dal-bhat comes as a good mix of tasty dishes and the other mains were very flavourful and decent portion sizes too.

My friend and I just had the best curry we've ever had, it was that good! From the service to the food we couldn't fault it. Amazing! I will definitely be coming here again.

Enjoyed our trip to Kathmandu, the food was very good, we had the Sag lamb and the gurkha chicken. Food came very quickly, not quite 5 star as the service was slow (we had to ask a couple of people to take our order as it was quite a wait between sitting down and placing our order). Enjoyed the meal but maybe not one if you're in a rush!

I was really disappointed after seeing all the positive reviews. I was hoping I was in for treat. The food quality was so poor it was unreal. We ordered a couple starters sheekh kebabs & aloo dum. I think Tesco kebabs tasted bettered. We ordered Dal bhat with chicken & lamb. As a former owner a restaurant I can’t describe how poor the quality of dal was. It had no salt, no taste and then it was definitely old. The lamb had a funny smell which suggested to me that it was not fresh. I have never asked for salt during my meal in a restaurant. I would have given them 1star but the staff were friendly and maybe the cobra was the only thing I enjoyed. Sorry guys for the poor review but you need to improve as I observed around and there were other tables complaining about the food quality.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and delicious food, which additionally feels wondrously healthy. There is a wide-ranging offering from Sherpa lamb curry to the national dish of Nepal, Dal Bhat. Vegan options are also extensive and hit the spot!

Had food from there and had stomach upset. Looks like they use tasteners (ajina motto or soda powder) in the bread / curries which really affect the stomach. My whole family got affected and never ever again. The tastener is a common ingradient with subcontinent chefs and these guys are also doing this pathetic practice.

Excellent food good strong, diverse flavours. Service was slow, but of you're not in a hurry, no problem.

We like eating out at a wide variety of places from street food to Mitchelin star. Just left Kathmandu ( never eaten there before)....what a breath of fresh air, we loved it. I had chicken mo mo's which were worth the 15 minute and cooking time, they were divine and well worth having patience for. I followed with the lamb Dal Bhat which was a complete feast, not one morsal left. This is a jewel in Altrinchams crown. Thank you, we will be back.
