Got recommended Mr Yungs by somebody and considering my usual chinese is closed we decided to give them a go. Wow. Just wow. The food was incredible. The salt & pepper chips were crispy, the food was hot and fresh, and everything tasted really fresh. We are in Wythenshawe and will now be changing our chinese to here without a doubt. 11/10. Very impressed

I thought I’d treat myself to a meal delivered to home. There was a little language problem over the phone resulting in the driver having to phone me for my address and so the delivery being slightly delayed. All handled professionally so no problem. I had the Salt & Pepper Ribs (delicious with plenty of meat and taste) followed by the Duck in Plum Sauce with Soft Noodle W/Beansprouts as an accompaniment. The duck consisted of good size tasty meat and a generous portion. The sauce and noodles were also of a high standard. Truth be told, I was full after the ribs so had the duck and noodles the following evening 😊 It would be a boon if we could order & pay via a website or pay contactless on delivery as I prefer not to use cash. Mr Yung’s is not the cheapest but it’s the best that I’ve had in the area and I’ll certainly be a repeat customer. As an aside a more local establishment to me (NOT MR YUNG’s) priced their food plus delivery charge (fair enough) plus a “service charge” of 50p. They don’t explain what the extra service is and to my mind may be “trying it on” so I didn’t order from them. This is how I found Mr Yung’s. “Every cloud.....” as they say.

We are never disappointed with food from Mr Yungs. Every now & then we forget that not all Chinese takeaway are to such a high standard & try somewhere else... then come straight back next time! Lovely people too. Definitely recommended.

This place and Dream Time are the best Chinese in the area. Mr Yungs is your take home Chinese, whereas Dream Time is good for an eat in lunch.

Lovely hot food if you get king prawns they are large and succulent the young lady is nice and polite we live 9 miles away and it beats all the other Chinese we have tried

Never had such a salty chinese in my life. If u have high blood pressure I would stay well away. Most went in the bin. Tasted like a large pot of salt on my plate. won't b going again.

Best Chinese takeaway in Altrincham. Their Salt&Pepper chips and curry are amazing, better than the ones served by the neighbour fish and chips. The size of the meals are very generous. Staff very gentle and friendly.

Really good beef curry and boiled rice shame about the salt and pepper chips as they were over cooked. But this place is one of the cheapest around and the food is always relatively good.

Some staff, not all can be very rude. We were overcharged on the last 3 orders. We never said anything as each time it was under £1. Out of principle, when it happened a 4th time, I mentioned we had been overcharged. They were extremely rude, 3 staff worked out the charges repeatedly whilst angrily speaking in chinese and looking at me, never said sorry, and when my food was ready just said "you!" And pointed a finger at me! Terrible customer service, it's free to say sorry, problem solved. Lost a frequent customer, but im sure that's ok by them. Would highly recommend dynasty chinese/thai takeaway, much better quality/service 👍🏽

Possibly the worst Chinese food in Manchester. Definitely the worst service. Roast duck with ginger and pineapple was a tin of Del Monte, sugar, loads of onion in big pieces, boiled duck and absolutely no ginger whatsoever. Sweet and sour vegetables was loads of onion in big pieces with a sliced carrot in a quarter of a pint of vinegar with a teaspoon of sugar. Chicken Chow Mien was just disgusting slop based on boiled chicken and big pieces of onion in a foul sauce with overcooked noodles. Salt/pepper chips was big pieces of onion and big pieces of chilli tossed into McCains chips. (Can you spot the theme— yes it’s big bits of cheap onion) the boiled rice was ok though, a true achievement for such a bad cook. Not only was the food totally pathetic but they took an hour to prepare it, and some was lukewarm when I received it. Don’t waste your money here, drive a bit further and get decent food, it’s not even cheap. I don’t know what the people who praise this takeaway have eaten in the past but it certainly isn’t good Cantonese food!! I know I am going on but this really is bad food, god only knows who is making it and I shudder to think what his/her cleanliness standards are if they are content with their food output.

We haven't had a trad Chinese take away for ages. Wow food was delicious loads of meat on crispy duck. Cantonese fillet Steak, kung po King prawns and char sui was amazing lots of food and so tasty. Well packed and piping hot. Will def be having more soon

Perfectly acceptable Chinese takeaway. Only takes cash. Large menu with all the usual items. Nothing extra special.

Always enjoy the food from here, for Hale it's great value, fresh and tasty
