Mentioned my allergy, was met abruptly initially, then once we discovered my curry was peanut free the manager came over and sarcastically asked if I was enjoying my food as if my allergy was an issue. Food was great, customer service was terrible.

Oh wow! What can I say? staying in a B&B in Sale for the night and just happened upon this place on our evening walk. This is BY FAR the best food both my husband and I have had in Greater Manchester, to date. I had the chicken tikka masala with mushroom rice, my husband had the mixed bhuna and pilau rice, and we both shared a side of onion bhaji's (x3) and a large garlic naan, 2 wines and 2 large cokes, WITH a well deserved tip all for just £50! Such amazing value for top quality food! From the outside it looks like a small takeaway and if you blinked you would miss it, however, if you go inside it's well lit, well heated, with beautiful decor and room for at least 50 seated! We will definitely be back and spreading the word too. Sorry for the lack of photos but the food was too good to pause and line up camera shots!

Always a pleasure to dine here, this was a Sunday and not very busy but probably due to the fact that it has been a very hot day with a lovely evening and most people were probably still outdoors. I had the King prawn Shashlik which as ever was cooked to perfection, my wife had Tandoori chicken which was moist, juicy and full of flavour, there were a few of us and we all enjoyed our meals immensely. Ate here again and had the Shashlik again no complaints. Went again tonight, there has been a noticeable drop in standards lately, mostly when the boss isn't there. The waiter was loud and a bit rude tonight accusing us of not knowing what we had ordered. Also the food was noticeably of a lower standard to normal. The mild curry sauce that accompanied my non sizzling Tandoori prawn "sizzler" just had cabbage stem in it. The onions weren't cooked and there were two measly looking bits of pepper. Last time we were told that the Tandoori chicken had traces of nuts in so our elder member of our party didn't have it due to his nut allergy but this time we were told by the waiter there were no traces of nuts. He didn't risk it as he lives near Macclesfield and may have keeled over at the wheel on his way home due to an ill informed waiter. We will not be rushing back unless we can be assured the standards have improved. This review was updated and downgraded on 18.04.2023. Just one more point..there was just us 6 and one party of 2 between 7.00 and 9.00 pm.

Not been for a couple of years and wow, food was absolutely amazing and service was second to none. Couldn't recommend any more, best Indian/Balti in all of Trafford.

Ordered a collection and the food was really nice and prepared relatively quick. The only gripe I would have is we ordered a set meal for 2 and the portion of rice was suitable for a small child who'd already eaten. As its a pretty important and inexpensive part of the meal, you could excel with a portion at least big enough for the 2 adults who were likely to be eating this. Its a small change but one that would make a huge difference (or change the name to "set meal for 2*. *if you have rice or chips at home") and would make me return regularly. Other than that, spot on.

Read about this place on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. Well laid out with tables not packed together. Pleasant, professional servers. Good selection on menu and I had my usual selection when first trying a new restaurant. Popodoms crisp and tasty with well flavoured chutney selection; sheek kebab fresh and again tasty. Main course of chicken biryani with a vindaloo vegetable curry sauce. Again, delicious. So overall a great find and I will certainly be returning.

I was a little worried when we were the only table occupied when I went with some mates on a Friday evening. Food was lovely though. Great quality and served really well. Sauce wasn't oily like some are and I would definitely go back.

Online order placed at 6:30. 45-50 mins delivery or if busy they would advise. 2 hours later no delivery, no contact, and despite multiple attempts to ring cannot get through. Shambles of a business. Avoid.

Disappointing £60 order sadly, no bags of salad with the dishes, no complimentary poppadoms and a 1hr 20 delivery. Given the competition around Sale I feel they need to up their game to retain customers.

Decided to go for a lovely curry on a Saturday night. Food was absolutely amazing, I got recommended this place from a friend and i couldn’t thank him enough. and the service is amazing, met a great young lad who gave us everything we needed and kept coming over to check on us. Will definitely be visiting again.

What’s going on 🤯 Been going here for years, last ever curry tonight as we’re leaving the area. Was so excited but it was garbage! Supposedly the hottest curry on the menu but it was like eating gravy, can’t express my disappointment 😭 Just looked at some recent reviews and there’s many expressing similar experiences, maybe a change of chef? Whatever has happened can only hope things get better……….

Very poor service. Waited two and a half hours for delivery with no communication whatsoever. Tried to call them multiple times to see where the order was but just rang out or went to voicemail. Understand that they might have been busy, but they either need to proactively communicate that fact, be contactable, or not accept orders in the first place.

1st time there last night. Food was excellent, service was good with a smile and very reasonably priced. Definitely going again

Despite visiting shortly after opening the restaurant was warm and inviting. We all enjoyed our meal as usual served by cheerful staff.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our curry's again at the Mughal Balti House.

Lovely food, easy to order over the phone and collection reason I gave 4 stars not 5 was we ordered a few curries one being a veg rogan josh but we’re given a veg dupiaza, still delicious and happy with the food we had
