The meat was chewy and I doubt it was the lamb I ordered. it's inconsistent here as I generally get takeaways and it's mostly good but they do have off nights. When I raised the "lamb" issue - it didn't seem too important to the waiter as he smiled and said thank you.

I've had nothing but great food and times with family and friends over the years . Always busy with a great atmosphere. Best book in advance.

We're a pair of lightweights me and the Mrs. Only get 1 meal between us as don't eat much. Think we've been through the menu twice now and every meal has been incredible. Thanks so much!!

The food is nice but my God, the prices seem to have gone up. £6 for four poppadums before you've even seen the menu?! That's a trick I won't fall for next time. £11 for a curry before you've even added rice? Wow - I'm in the wrong business.

"I recently visited Masala Lounge the day before Christmas evening , an Indian restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by the rude and racist behavior of one of their staff members, Mr. Amir Uddin. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable,I saw he was so rude with his staff he don’t want leave them to talk to the customer, and one think I could still remember about the tips from customer I just asked one guy did you get the tips ,, within a second amir came and stopped him to answer my question he made him busy with another work . Mr. Amir's attitude towards me, specifically as an Indian individual, was disrespectful and offensive. He made derogatory remarks and displayed a clear bias towards he is regular customers. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and goes against the principles of hospitality and inclusivity. Not only did Mr. Amir's behavior ruin my dining experience, but it also left a lasting negative impression of the restaurant as a whole. It is disheartening to see such discrimination and racism in a place that should be promoting cultural diversity and respect. I strongly urge the management of Masala Lounge to address this issue and take appropriate action against Mr. Amir Uddin. Racism and discrimination have no place in any establishment, especially one that represents a rich and diverse cuisine like Indian food. I would advise potential customers to think twice before dining at Masala Lounge in sale , as the presence of such a staff member reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. There are plenty of other Indian restaurants in the area that prioritize customer satisfaction and treat all guests with respect and dignity."

Lovely restaurant. We went here because of the reviews but it was just ok. 2 curries 1 bread 1 chips 1 rice 2 small soft drinks just under £40 Very small portion of curry, only 5 small cubes of chicken. It was tasty but only warm not hot. Bread, rice and chips were perfect. Mango chutney like water, very thin. Waiter who served food was not very pleasant just plonked food on table quickly announcing what each one was and walked off. Wasn't feeling any warmth from the service. However the man who greeted us was very nice. All in all just ok.

Mum and Daughter night out Found staff miserable and rude one member in particular, argumentative with what we ordered Food we had Lamb chops and onions bhajji Curry we had Lamb karahi and chicken Dhansak, rice and Nan bread, popadoms Bhajji has No taste Lamb chops hardly any meat on them, missing taste Chicken Dhansak too spicy supposed to me a mild curry Chicken was a bit rubbery Lamb karahi had just a load of green chillies thrown in it couldn’t eat it When we were leaving not a single one of the staff got the door for us just stood at the bar Had better curry elsewhere Staff need customers service updating Such a shame Not happy!!!!!

Very good Chicken Vindaloo takeaway curry!

Absolutely disgusted. We were refused our order of starter's only and one main to take away. We had already eaten poppadoms and ordered drinks. We therefore had to leave. Our order would have easily amounted to £70 if they allowed us to stay. Never known anything like this before. We've eaten there 3 or 4 times before and sorry to say you have now lost our future custom.

Great food, great service

The best Indian restaurant in sale and to be honest the best for miles around, stunning food and very helpful staff and they also have a takeaway service, I have never had a bad dish and have tried different things here and everything has been very tasty.

Food was amazing, 6 of us ate and we all had good food. The service was quick but the staff were extremely rude which was a shame as otherwise a very good experience.

I went yesterday for Chrustmas dinner. Its a beautiful, modern but cosy setting. The atmosphere in the place waa lovely and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food was divine. My family were with me and also thoroughly enjoyed it too. We have decided to go back again next Christmas day. I really do highly recommend this place. I would like to thank the staff for their hospitality and a wonderful Christmas day.

Visited Massala Lounge earlier this week - it came highly recommended by colleagues at Waterside Arts which is directly opposite. The service was fab. The food was amazing! Vegan options available (I asked) including Vegetable Rogan Josh & Vegetable Dansak (which was made without cream!) which we had on our table to share. Dansak is definitely a new favourite for me thanks to Massala Lounge. Perfect after a hard day at work, thank you so much.

Went last night for the first time, celebrating a friend's birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. The lamb biryani was to die for beautifully tender chunks of lamb. Chicken korma was a hit too. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good price too. It was busy which is a good sign. Will definitely visit again.

Just don't go in after 930pm. You'll be turned away or rushed. But food is amazing

This is my go to place when I'm in Sale for an Indian meal. The food is consistently excellent as is the service. It's located on the main road almost next to the Metrolink so really convenient when on public transport.
