Worst experience and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff was rude as if we were asking for any free meal. I literally felt I am kidnapped in such atmosphere where you can’t share your feedback openly. The staff is really unprofessional and they don’t even know how to behave. Their facial expression and attitude was worst. Moreover the food was also not that good. I will NEVER suggest to visit this place..

Never fails to deliver even when staff are rushed off their feet such as tonight. Cauliflower was particularly good. Well done to the chefs and the management.

Wednesday night out with my wife and son. Off street parking just behind the restaurant. Clean and bright throughout - my wife was impressed with the cleanliness of the toilet! Usual range of food on offer and we each had a starter and main course. We were all happy with the food; served hot and good portions. Cobra on draught and a range of bottled beers etc. So a good experience with no negatives.

Love this place the food is always good and a great ambiance and still my favourite restaurant. Just been again delicious 😋 I'm lucky enough to live round the corner

Poor customer service, and need to re look at your policy of you have to order main meal or at least have a note on door saying your policy.. We were ordering a larger, 2 waters , mixed starter ( for 2) and nan bread which was going to be just my dads meal, and 2 desserts which myself and mum were going to eat we asked for it to all come out together, the waiter then went off and the manager informed us of this policy and stated it wasn't a cafe ( in a rude manner). The restaurant was not busy and had plenty of tables, but your policy lost customers who have been before and would have regularly come to have 3 course meals as we have done a number of times before. (myself and mum had had our tea and we were just joining my dad so he didn't have to eat alone.) its a shame that you didn't focus on customer satisfaction. ( bill would have come to bout £40 ish once dad ordered few more beers and a couple of coffees) but clearly you would like to have empty tables, poor customer service and a silly policy that loses you a reasonable amount of money,

I would give this "Restaurant " a -5 star rating if I could. The staff were absolutely rude. I wanted to order a take away, but decided to sit at a table and order a drink and some starters for me and my 4yr old son. I was rudely informed by the staff that this is not a "cafe" and that if I use a table to have a drink I must also dine in. They said "If I wanted a take away, I would not be allowed to order drinks and sit at a table". Food was horribly disappointing and tasteless. Would not recommend this restaurant. Will never go again.

Very fine menu of Vedic foods, plenty of vegetarian options and children's delights. Excellent service from an attentive staff and parking round the back. I have enjoyed this restaurant several times and will go again .

First time visit with Family, the place was full early evening. Shown to are table very quick which we had reserve, menu and drinks followed very quick. We ordered 8 different curries with an assortment of rice and nan bread. No complaints from anyone. The staff where friendly and helpful, we never felt rushed at anytime. The place was clean and tied. Will be going again.

Wow, only just describes it....the food from this establishment, is super authentic, and soo tasty....am on my 4th delivery now,.....nothing ever gets left, when we have a madras spice....thank you so much......can't recommend you enough...mark...

Food taste was ok but staff just looks too tired and feels like they dont wanted to take any effort to entertain customers. There are lot of new restaurants coming up and have awesome friendly staff. if they continue with such attitude, I dont think any one would prefer to go there even if they make the best food in the world.

Amazing food been twice and always had exceptional customer service nothing ever to much for the staff. Great how they do small dishes for the kids aswell both our boys loved it.

Totally and utally apouled by this place me and my pregnant Mrs made a reservation for 7pm to then turn up and get tuned away ... they didn't offer any discount for next time... nothing .... left us high and dry as every where else fully booked terrible staff terrible service avoid at all costs don't give them a penny rude staff so angry how they can do this to us with no care in the world 🤬

We went here for the first time last night and I can't fault the food. Couple of mistakes from the staff, chasing up drinks and I ordered a chicken rogon josh, but recieved lamb. However this was the best possible mistake as the lamb was beautiful! We had onion bhajis, naan breads and a chilli masala too and everything was lovely We will definitely be back.

The food which we ordered was not up to mark. Chicken curry was ta insteless and too much turmeric in curry. Lamb tikka totally tastes like almost spoiled lamb. Chicken pakora was nice and naan was excellent. I don't want to waste the food so I packed leftovers.

Sorry to say the food was very disappointing. Had a takeaway having seen some recommendations. Tarka dal was like soup, way too overcooked and undersalted, lamb buhna was bland. The whole bottom of the naan bread was burned, had to throw away. Will not be going back.

Rudest staff ever, tiny messy restaurant. Middle aged couple next to us was thrown out as they didn’t order to certain amount. When the couple challenged, old guy in the restaurant staff asked them to leave and never does their face again (sitting top of his voice, followed them through the door). Just unimaginable rudeness. Always good standard food to enjoy, friendly and courteous staff and without a doubt the best curry in the area. Their set meal for 2 is great value, try them and enjoy.

here a few times, purchased a take out meal part of which were lamb chops that l have had before unfortunately on this occasion the chops did not look right l took a bit and immediately spat it out as it tasted like it was off, then smelling the meat confirmed this. Phoned the restaurant they did not appear to be concerned and suggested l mention it when l next come, however l have no intention on returning.

Went christmas day, granted an expectedly busy day but after seeing good reviews I went along with the family. The restaurant had far too many people crammed into it and did not have enough staff. We were seated for 20 mins before drinks orders were taken and a further 40 mins before starters we recieved. Another hour and a half for mains which were mediocre at best. We paid upfront for the meal as we entered as we had heard from several tables that bills were getting confused, drinks added to tabs that were not recieved, deposits not being taken off bills etc. Went to clear the drinks tab and did not receive an itemised receipt before my grandfather was charged. This was then proceeded by them trying to charge for the meal again. We left before dessert as we expected to be waiting another 20 mins and could not be bothered with more waiting. Overall possibly the worst service I've had in several years for food that is surpassed by your average takeaway. So much so this is my first review. Would not recommend.

This restaurant serves fantastic food. Yesterday, I went there, had a papadom, and the outstanding chutney tray, which was followed by Tandoori chicken as a starter. It was fabulous, just slightly charred as I had requested. For the main, I ordered the Lahori sizzler Gosht, for which I requested it to be spicy and Pilau rice, coffee, and a pint of cobra beer. The service was as usual, friendly, and very efficient. This establishment is the best Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant that I've ever visited. It is very highly recommended.

Tried this place for the first time as it always looks busy. It was lovely, great selection of dishes and good quality food. We will definitely be going back.

Another great meal and excellent service at Madras Spice

We love visiting the Madras Spice, it is our favourite curry house. They do takeaway and eating in and both are brilliant! Also they have been offering NHS discount which is lovely for those who have been working hard during this hard time.

Just your average Indian restaurant. Nothing amazing. I noticed they use the same boring base sauce on the prawn bhuna special as they do on the plain curry sauce you have on the side of a chicken tikka main. A sign of a lazy kitchen. Nothing exciting unfortunately. No chef skills stood out for me, also staff could be more friendly.

Great place, been here several times over the past few years and it never fails. Great food and great service.

Absolutely exceptional... had a take away this evening and it’s the best Indian take away I’ve ever had - we had popadoms which were crisp n fresh, onion Bhajis 5 in one portion! And fish tikka to die for.. the mains were chicken tikka shashlick and lamb tikka saag, again faultless and cooked to perfection!! Brilliant!!

The best food, variaty in meals and definitely best priced meal I have in a long time. Brilliant service and the staff are really friendly (not to mention hard working). Went for a family gathering and there was something for everyone. Have already booked to take some friends in next week. Bit of a hidden gem, with a fantastic atmosphere.
