Great Lebanese food. Their kebab platter, falafel and humus is excellent 👌

Went at lunch on a Friday, not busy, but you know it gets rammed in the evening. Appears that it’s an area of several Lebanese eating places. High class place. Staff very attentive. My starters was good sized portions. Main was okra and lamb which was good. I’d go again, safe bet, not amazing, but i only order two items so something amazing may be their.

what a gem!!! love this place! great interior(roof in conservatory opens on hot summer nights),friendly staff,delicious food…they offer a banquet for £25pp which is great value and delicious! you can also take your own booze…even better. had many a night in here with friends and family, one of my faves for sure! falafel are to die for, hummus,baba ganoush,turkish sausage,fatoush salad,kebabs and rice dishes…all delicious!

Great restaurant with a wide food selection. Lovely starters both warm and cold. Both the chicken and the cheese bouraks tasted really good along with the fattoush. Mixed kebab and babaganouj classics and Lebanese beer an easy drink

This is my favourite restaurant. A brilliant night for a group of friends or family to enjoy many dishes. I have seen a lot of Lebanese families come here and enjoy this food. Myself and my friends have been on many occasions and never been disappointed.

We spotted this gem on the way to a different restaurant. Loved that it was a fusion of two countries. Food was brought timely, our waiter was brilliant. The place is beautiful and bigger than you think. We ordered a bunch of side plates and had a feast. Definitely going back here. And lovely walk by the toilets for photos.

I’ve recently moved to Cheadle and I’m trying to navigate its many options for a goody night out. Many from the area recommend Yara. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype. The evening was a happy occasion, with visiting family from Yorkshire, and the staff & food made it a wonderful evening. Just enough attention was given to us by the staff, who left us to enjoy our food. Which was all wonderful; the hummus dip starter might have been the best hummus I’ve ever had; creamy and rich and to die for. The option to bring your own booze was also a welcome addition, helping to lead to a very reasonable final bill.

The food and service were spot on. This isn't my favourite cuisine, but I did enjoy the dishes and the layout of the restaurant. The light decor gave a warm modern vibe. I especially enjoyed the red sauce they serve with the pitta bread. Highly recommended

We visited here on a Saturday recently for a mums and daughters lunch. We asked for a variety of fish meat and veg dishes for a set lunch menu of £25 each. This request was refused. We were shown the lunch menu that has no fish. The manager then said that everyone MUST have a starter and a main with a very unhelpful attitude. Some of us did order just starters and we chose a range of dishes. The food is good but overpriced as is the corkage. He ignored us as we left later. So rude. We will not be returning.

Got there at 7pm, wasn't served until 8:20. Servers seemed annoyed and put out that they had to take our order, the servers were quite rude except for the younger lad, very narrow layout and not once did I see a server let someone through they would just barge through and make the other person wait. Food was really nice but absolutely pitiful portions, it was put on several dishes we ordered rice or chips come with but around 3 meals out of 9 didn't get any and some of the dishes can not be counted as mains, nice place nice food, won't go again and wish we went to the tapas place across the way.

Excellent meal, the food was delicious. Shame about the older waiter, quite clumsy but did rectify his errors.

We had some really nice food here. Portion size was good, not too much, not too little. Flavours and combinations worked well. Good attentive service and a nice bottle of fizz for under £20. What's not to love?

Amazing food and a great atmosphere. A local favourite. The best shawarma and hummus around. Always the best ingredients and freshest food cooked beautifully with generous portions. Our favourite is the mixed kebab and the meat Bourak was beautiful. Always tender and great quality meat cooked perfectly.

The restaurant is lovely and comfortable and the staff very attentive. There was a mixture of quite plain grilled meat options and more traditional dishes. Good sized menu. Some issues with the bill at the end with items we did not order but was sorted out.

We went in the early afternoon when it was empty and only one other party, so were surprised with the poor service. We ordered the sujuk and moutabal for starters, which were ok The mixed grill was a small portion served without salad (as shown in the photo). It was small and very average in quality. The large terraced area is a nice place to sit. There is additional access to the rear of the restaurant from the public car park. Overall, disappointing.

Really lovely food with great gluten free options. The menu shows what is gluten free and we were even given gluten free pita bread with our starters which is a first! Amazing thank you.

The food was excellent and cooked well, a delicious meal however we felt uncomfortable during lunchtime as we felt like we were being watched by the waiters without them being attentive. It's not very pleasant to be surveiled whilst trying to enjoy your lunch.

Very welcoming on arrival. Beautiful decor and very clean. The service was good and very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We loved the food we were served. Lovely presentation. The food was beautifully spiced. We would definitely go again and highly recommend others to visit.

Lovely food and great staff, food arrived promptly. We got the menu option which was plenty of food with excellent variety, I could not eat as much as was served, excellent quality/quantity/price ratio. Will visit again for sure!

It is my second time at Yara within last few months. The place was open about a year ago but it became popular very fast due to the good quality food, helpful and polite staff and lovely atmosphere... My favorite dishes here are grilled lamb chops, which are cook to perfection, grilled halloumi cheese and falafel... I asked if chef can make lamb chops the way I like and the owner Hazar came personally to find out what exactly I wanted. The average bill is about £20-30 per person if you take lamb chops (£16) but again... I didn’t drink much alcohol and I didn’t have a dessert so could be higher... I would recommend this place for a good Lebanese food... Oh, I also came for lunch 2 weeks later. Food was amazing. 3 courses for £11. Guys, who work here Ali, Amer and Khaled really look after you...

Friendly atmosphere, lovely very polite staff. The food is out of this world. Definitely be going back.

Although we booked the table , we had to wait for 45mins. Service was excellent. But food was good not so extra ordinary as I heard. Service was fantastic, interiors were good. Chicken Shawarma was quite dry. Pita and hummus were too good. Rest are ok

We visited Yara Cheadle for our first time and wasn’t disappointed. The staff are so welcoming, ensured our two disabled guests were seated with no problems, they explain the menu and ensure you receive first class service. We ordered cold and hot food and starters and mains to arrive at the same time, we ordered around 12 selections of food and it was absolutely amazing! So many flavours and we sat in the end section where we had the roof open, fantastic! Note: you can take your own alcohol.

The menu and food here is terrific. Plenty of choice and very tasty. Service was excellent but I would have liked a little less speed as when I go for a meal it is nice to take time. The ambience of the place is also nice and I would definitely go here again.
