Pretty shocking. Called in as a last minute stop off. Firstly get told there's a 15-20 minute wait. The place was pretty empty. Ordered food and drinks... took a good few minutes for the young lady to place the order. Then she went on to serve another customer without serving our drinks. Then we had to wait ages for dessert. The table still had glasses and a coffee cup from the previous customers. Would not recommend

Great visit to the Swinging Bridge, great food at a reasonable price same for beer. Mixed grill was cooked to perfection Jamie and the staff could not do more for you. Thanks

Had a lovely family meal to celebrate a birthday this evening. There was 20 of us in our party and we were seated in a private area at the back of the restraunt. The family were able to arrive ahead of the booking to decorate the room. The lad waiting on our table was very efficient and helpful taking drinks orders very soon after our arrival. Our meals were brought out quickly; especially considering we were a large group, and were very tasty. Overall very happy and would definitely eat here again.

Restaurant food is lovely, Jamie tended to our every need and provided us with an exceptional service. Followed up on drinks for our table and even provided seating prior to our dining experience. Immensely satisfied with the service me and my boyfriend have received, professional and best of all accommodating too.

Sunday roast and cadbury nibbles sundae, good quality food, reasonably priced. I think the location of this restaurant, being off an extremely busy road, is a problem for drawing in customers, probably heavily reliant on the hotel for custom.

Went for something to eat, the chairs were so comfy! It was nice and quiet. Cocktails were nice and 2 for £10. Food was good, but at the time they had limited choice. Still nice though. If definitely go back.

We chose the singing bridge for Christmas dinner staff friendly and accommodating, food and drink served promptly, slight problem with dessert that was dealt with quite quickly, food well cooked and well presented all in all a present experience. Thank you very much to the whole team for all your hard work.

Went for quick dinner. Usual table table menu. Food was good and service very efficient. Bar closeby which was a bit noisy. Very good parking. Would happily go back.

I went for our evening meal at 4 pm with the family, 1st, we was told there was no roast dinners, so we all decided we would all have fish and chips to be told there was only 1 fish. We changed our orders to the gammon dinner it was a lovely piece of gammon, I wasn't impressed with the chips one asked for mushy peas but got garden peas. One asked for no peas but still got them. Visited during the week as some mains are 2 for 11.49 then. Our third person had lasagne at the full price was nice would be even better if crisped up on top and maybe a bigger garlic bread due to the full price overall enjoyed our lunch

First time back in Manchester after moving away a few years ago and ended up stopping here for a bite to eat. Never been before but I’m glad I did. The food was amazing, but the service was incredible and made us want to stay for drink (well for 2 hours worth of drink 😂). Jordan made us feel so welcome and even took the time out to speak to me and calm my nerves as I’m terrified of flying and was flying the next day… all in all it was a great experience and Jordan is an absolute credit to your team. Will definitely be returning

I stay in Premier Inn's a lot and I've also stayed in Manchester a lot. You may see that I haven't really reviewed many as they tend to be what they are... Nothing outstanding but certainly not terrible. However the service in this Hotel is next level, I don't have names on that side but trust me, they've all been awesome. However the service in the bar attached is next level. Libby at breakfast is outstanding, even remembering that I like cracked black pepper on my eggs! Also Shakira and Chloe on the floor/bar of an evening make another night away from home that bit better purely by being themselves. I really can't fault it

Really enjoyed the choice of food, the staff are lovely and helpful and we loved our time there.

We had a lovely Sunday roast and it was really delicious, generous portions and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back to try other items from the menu. Highly recommended.

We visited for dinner and again for the unlimited breakfast as part of our stay at the premier Inn attached. Staff were so lovely and helpful, food was great and service good. I want to reiterate how wonderful your bar and serving staff were on both visits, there was a slight mix up during dinner however was fixed quickly and apologetically and honestly we were so impressed with the service overall. Thanks again!

Not dog friendly as lots of websites suggest. Place was dead and options secluded from others that could easily have accommodated us without bothering others. Our booking also said we had a dog and no call to tell us otherwise.

The food was really nice. Had the steak and ale pie with mash, and it was really tasty. Service was good also. The place needs a total revamp, unfortunately.

So, came here for the buffet breakfast one morning, I don't know if they usually do things that way but, due to our current austere times, they take individual orders to cut down on wastage presumably..!! Everyone's breakfast arrives fresh, no inedible bits due to being on a hotplate too long..!! The dining area is clean and well presented, you'll find that the place is reasonably quiet most times, i.e. no screaming kids in the morning.. this visit had the most tables occupied with 7, but you wouldn't notice in the spacious room...!! My only downside::: do remind yourself they are giving away the breakfast, but the bread is not the best quality, it feels like a smart price slice, but at least you know what you're working with.....!!

Held my mums 70th birthday party here. First time visited, welcome approach, food lovely, customer service great. Would call again and highly recommend as a place to dine.

Stayed for work purposes, clean and comfortable room as expected, lager cold, staff friendly, menu disappointing, they had a list of what they didn't have. Ordered chicken tika, they had no rice so gave me chips. If they had said I would of ordered something different. There is a supermarket right behind the establishment.

Great value for money, always has something to please everyone on the menu. Nice and friendly place.

Just been to this place for lunch, picture below is the ploughman’s lunch I was served, waited half an hour for this very tired and unappetising plate… come on swinging bridge you need to do better! Near £9 for this awful plate.

Place was quiet 👍 ordered haddock and chips, lentil hotpot, vegan sundae and Cadbury sundae. Service excellent, prompt, polite and not intrusive. Food was great!! Ty

Very good food and very polite & attentive service from the staff. The only negative, and this is why I didn't give five stars is that on every visit we have had to this site, it is always a bit on the chilly side in the restaurant, (obviously not in the summer) almost as if you were sitting in a draught, which we weren't. Turn the heating up a bit to create a cosy atmosphere to go with the nice low lighting!😊

No problem with the service but shame on them for such an unhealthy menu. Beige food laden with salt and saturated fat. Time to modernise!

Staff reallyovely. Been here a few times but the latest menu is chips or salad. They use to do a chicken on a mash bottom it was lovely. The last two times been disappointed. Ordered chicken tikka curry hot on top of bowl and cold underneath not stirred and husband had chicken that was burnt.on a grill meal Disappointing as we love the place. The manager replaced husbands meal but i had finished mine by time he got his back so they did not charge for it. It spoils the evening if you dont eat together.

Delightful young lady served us (believe her name was Libby.) So polite, so helpful. Nothing was to much for her. Food was well presented. As well as delicious. Definitely returning there to eat.

Fantastic service relaxed atmosphere we had the 2 mains for 9.49 which in any other pub you'd of payed more than a tenner for the burger The potatoes dippers as starter and garlic mushrooms were really good too Top marks to everyone

Had to wait over an hour for mains and it was still wrong, they did however give us 1 dessert free. Food was OK the desserts were nice.

We stop buy to grab some tea whilst on our way to watch the Manchester Giants basketball. We were in a bit of a rush but it wasn't busy at the time. So we managed to get a seat and order quickly. The food didn't take to long to come out which was really nice. The staff were very nice as well

Walked in got a table sat down asked for a menu the young girl said she would get us one. Walked past us to go serve othwr tables then after 10 mins went to serve others walking past us again.

5 stars aren’t enough! Just finished a great meal for my brothers 21st birthday. The team at table table went above and beyond - they decorated the table and looked after us. Food and service was brilliant - we will definitely be looking for an excuse to return!

Nice chance to get together with family from Ireland and enjoy a meal. Food was nice and good choice. The only neg is that it was a lot cooler than usual but bearable if you kept your coat on.

Hoped to have lunch in restaurant here but was told on arrival that there would be a 40 min delay in service due to a party booking. We asked if we could eat at bar and told yes, no prob. We settled at table. After 10 min wait for service, we were told same thing....40 min wait due to group booking. The place was empty other than this group booking. Not impressed as we chose restaurant due to reviews. Surely the restaurant would have been prepared for this ... Looked like this party booking (not a large group BTW) took precedence and they were not prepared to deal with any other customers.

Haven't visited in years. Got a code for a free meal and had a lovely set festive menu. Excellent food and service

Manager and staff so lovely and go above and beyond and also for my daughter who is in a wheelchair plus food is delicious too.

Went in for a little bite to eat on Sunday. I had the Katsu Chicken curry, Service was great and food was delicious. Great thanks to Joe and Chef Dan for the lovely meal.
