The car park across from the Cinema is a well known con to fine customers. The seats in the Cinema are terrible we was sat in the supposed VIP seats after about 20 minutes I felt really uncomfortable and for the next nearly 2 and half hours had to keep moving to find a comfy spot I was not the only one most of the other people there was moving about in there seats. Will not be going back.

Went to cinema on a hot day. With Kids No air-conditioning. Wanted to stay away from the heat, but inside was stuffy, warm and very uncomfortable. Regretted going to cinema. I don't understand how cinemas can expect people to watch movies anymore. No air-conditioning? What?

Wouldn't even give it one star. This cinema used to be my favourite however, my previous visit has changed my opinion completely. On the 24th of July I visited Vue Altrincham to watch the new blockbuster movie Oppenheimer. As i opened the doors to the screen a wave of heat blasted me! (this was the first of many red flags). After taking my seat I had to immediately strip down as the heat was so unbearable. Not only did I have to suffer 3 long hours in what felt like the desert. I am now suffering from tonsillitis and a stomach bug. Surely the bare minimum is to clean the seats and to sanitise before new customers enter? As I left the screen I couldn't help but stare at the bins and the disgrace it brought upon it. They were over flowing and leaving a nasty stench which combined with the bathrooms left a repulsive odour. I will NOT be coming to this Vue cinema again!

Visited on Christmas Eve to see Matilda. Staff were not very engaging on the counter. The cinema area was clean and well maintained, but we all had to put our coats on as it was absolutely freezing

How can you justify ยฃ4.89 ,,for a drink. The packets of buttons ยฃ3.99 which are ยฃ1.25 in shops. The man who lets you in was like Hitler chasing my daughter down the corridor she was trying to find the toilet. Not a pleasant experience. Possibly worth going to trafford cinema paying more for pleasant and to not be chased on trying to find the toilets staff

The cinema is scruffy and tired, parking is horrendous. Coffee is weak and cheap tasting, staff clearly aren't trained. The staff are also ignorant, they were clearly picking on one of their colleagues, awful to watch. The young man they were talking about was the only one really trying to help customers. Too many young staff, I heard another customer complain about the popcorn and he asked to speak to someone in charge, a young girl came out of the back and said she was the team leader .. she looked about 15 and had no idea how to deal with the complaint. I would avoid.

This place is beginning to look a bit tired now. Some of the seats are now unusable but it always has a good selection of films and tickets are reasonably priced.

A decent enough cinema, everything you'd expect. Would avoid going just after schools finish in the week as the entire time during the movie, a group of 15+ school kids were chatting, laughing loudly, making jokes and playing music... Must be local to a school!

The vue cinema, was fifthly, popcorn on seats from previous customers. The lights did not come in between the films, so difficult to make your way to your seats, I paid for VIP seats and they were shabby. Not the best experience

Extremely cold in the cinema to the point where people were shivering! No lights on when we entered it was pitch black people couldnโ€™t see where they were meant to be seated. The cinema stunk of urine. During the film the lights kept coming on and off. Really disappointed compared to other cinemas it really needs to step up its game we thought we would give it a try unfortunately we wonโ€™t be returning which is a shame.

Good cinema with comfy chairs and decent food options. Booking tickets online which was quite straight forward too!!! Would definitely recommend as it's the only cinema around Altrincham for now.

Poor sound. Went last night to see James Bond movie. Speech muffled to point you needed subtitles. Trailers were the same so not the film. Spoke to staff who said they'd report it. Went back in hoping they'd correct but after 10 minutes decided to ask for money back. Other customers also left because of the sound. What really annoyed me was that the staff admitted they had known for some time there was a problem with that particular screen but continued to show films in it!

Great cinema with plenty of screens showing all the latest blockbusters. I thoroughly enjoyed taking advantage of the cheap tickets on a Monday. The concessions are expensive as you might expect but everything is clean and tidy and I always have a great time. There is ample parking with an underground car park across the road. The train, tram and bus station is a mere 2 minute walk away so there are plenty of travel options. You will also be minutes away from the main town centre so you can easily enjoy a movie and grab dinner or drinks to make an evening out of it.

Easy to book online. Easy to park ยฃ2.50 with lift to venue. Expensive snacks ยฃ5.99 for slush. Staff lovely. Really annoying flicker on light in cinema to start almost created migraine. But as usual no loop system equipped to allow me to hear through hearing aids. Staff offered me a head set but cannot wear over hearing aids. I didn't hear the dialogue at all, couldn't really follow film and fell asleep at one point. Grandsons enjoyed, but once again I'm reminded why I don't go to cinemas.

Not sure if the whole cinema is the same. The seats looked really tired, they were comfy enough, but looked saggy and dirty even under dim lights, and the rubbish from the previous viewing was still clearly visible. Enjoyed the film and the experience, but it could of been better.

Small but cosy cinema, ideal for some relaxing time. Very clean and staff also helpful. The only negative is the very expensive food they serve.

Super cheap compared to other cinemas nearby. Perfect for taking the kids out for a few hours.

Absolutely disgusted. Hair in the popcorn, my daughter and I are both blonde, this was a long dark brown hair! Spoke to staff, said there's nothing they could do about it. Definitely won't be back!

The price of the actual tickets is fab for just ยฃ5.99 but by gosh ยฃ2.50 for a warm bottle of pop or ยฃ4.89 for a small drink.... plus went to check in and the man was actually rather rude and once he actually gave me directions and let me in he came chasing after me as I went a different way due to trying to find the toilet.. he literally chased me down if it was a race he would have won 1st prize.. the film is fab but with current climate and prices don't know how you can justify your prices glad I only brought 1 child imagine if I would of invited his friends I would have had to remortgage my house just to buy them a drink l and sweets.... would rather pay the extra for the tickets and go somewhere else.

This cinema used to be lovely but its very dated now. The older gentleman in the ticket stand was so friendly and lovely. The staff behind the counter were very slow and just had no Go about them. Really didn't want to be there and it was very obvious. Seats were really uncomfortable and mine was loose so felt really unsafe. We watched Wonka in screen 1, 09/12 4.45pm showing

Clean cinema staff were good only downside to it was we came to the last showing of the night and the food area was closed on arrival and was told we couldnโ€™t order yet there was popcorn in the dispenser Iโ€™m sure it will end up going to waste but we enjoyed the movie overall it was 2hrs long without any little accompaniments

Nice underground car parking but costs ยฃ2.50, even though it says 4 hours the printed ticket says midnight so can stay for a meal or around town. Cinema clean and big with quite a few screens, not been for a while so a bit shocked with the popcorn prices around ยฃ7 but guess that's normal these days. Staff friendly and helpful

Lovely friendly staff. Clean and tidy it was the 1st time I've used this cinema but definitely wont be the last. Had the whole scene to ourselves when my friend & I saw FNAF so could chat about the film whilst it was on which was nice.

It was the second time I did asist for a film. The price its quite afordable ยฃ7. The personal assisting could be a bit more smile but there was no issue in the purchase of the tickets at the counter. The local has a waiting area in case you arrive with more thn enogh time.

Great cinema, easy parking. Clean and pleasant. Easy to book online, then get QR scanned. Good comfy seats at the back if you want to pay a bit extra.

Seats falling apart and are much smaller than other Vue cinemas; not all seats are the premium recliner ones which is often the case in other Vue cinemas. Screen seemed smaller too. Needs a renovation.

Nice warn cinema friendly staff. But parking is a nightmare as they close it at 10 pm so I had to walk out of the film midway to fin alrenative parking. Then got lock out the cinema as they lock the doors at night. No staff to be seen, I was loc out for an hour.

Volume on dolby sound didn't blow your eardrums apart: which is what Trafford Centre cinema does . Its deafening: but a great experience at Vue cinema. I'll be there again very soon.

Went to see Operation Mincemeat tonight, great film and the first time I have been to a Vue cinema. Fantastic experience, a friend of mine, David Meek recommended it and I will definitely go back now I am living in Altrincham again.

This gym offers great prices and for a decent cinema. For the money you canโ€™t go wrong. Not had the modern refurb that some of the others in the chain have had, but the good prices and offers available offset this. Surrounded by places to get food and 2 mins from the tram. Clean and well kept cinema.

Lovely comfy chairs with head rests & not expensive ยฃ4.99 afternoon to watch the new Bond movie

  • 4/5 M G. 2 years ago on Google
Great cinema, small but clean, helpful staff and well stocked kiosk for snacks. My only grumble is that if your watching a movie at the cinema there could be some sort of discount towards parking ๐Ÿค”

Its ok for a cinema, tickets were reasonably priced compared to other cinemas in the area. Wouldnt pay for deluxe seats as they're right at the back and no more comfortable than the standard ones. Car park under the cinema costs ยฃ2 50 for 4 hours, again this is reasonably priced.

Great cinema went yesterday been many times. It has something like 8 screens and the best thing is it usually never gets to full. :)

Generic movie cinema; convenient and clean but hard to get more than 4 stars when run to a corporate plan. Minus a point for forgetting to turn the lights off until 10min into the main feature...
