I recently had injections in my eyes so cannot see properly, bought some items and then returned them the next day to only be told they don't do refunds. Disgraceful. Nobody told me at the counter when I purchased them that there was no refund otherwise I wouldn't have bothered as the person who they were for wasn't with me. Punishing people who can't read the signs they have out should be ashamed of yourselves.

If a company cannot even get it's opening hours correct on it's own website it doesn't deserve to be in business. The service is poor to average and the discounts are lies. It's a shame most of the competition shut down as this outfit are a shambles. Got served by a rude young man. Raised the issue of the hours with another in store robot. Blamed Google for their own site being wrong and could not even manage an apology for making me wait outside. Poor service. Just wanted to add after today's visit 1/5/23. The returns policy in operation is abysmal. They don't even honour 1 year manufacturer's guarantees. Claiming that 6 months is all they offer. Had to buy a new item. Being cheap is the only good thing about this company.

This retail company price wise very reasonable for many items but they don't warn us that they can't refund any item. When i tried to return one of the pair of expensive trainers they say you need to read our policy. Well , not many shoppers read the policy before they buy . I expected them to told me at last at the till that they can't refund. So i can make proper decision to buy something.

Extremely impolite and rude staff, needs proper training at communication especially the ones at tills.

Had a rather worrisome experience with Sophie. She was rude and unpleasant to no end. When I asked her if she had a different size of a nike shoe (my favourite brand), she called me fat. I don't know what this has to do with my shoe size...

Reasonable priced goods and lots of offers. Staff polite and friendly.

The difference between the state of how this shop was and how it is now is simply remarkable. Upon speaking to few staff on the floor it was revealed that since the new manager has taken over this branch, the shop appears tidy, clean and extremely organized. The branch manager needs a major recognition within the company. It was a pleasant experience with a lasting positive vibe. Keep up! 18.08.2021

Never has any children's football shoes in stock. Staff seem annoyed if you ask about sizes

Always get what I need at a good price. Staff are always pleasant and respectful.

Not just this store but all local Sports Direct are exemplary of any interaction I have had with the stores. They only have one number you can call (at each site) and NO-ONE EVER answers the phone ... waste of space.I'd give 0 starts but it won't allow me.

The most rude, unhelpful, arrogant staff going. I bought a pair of Karrimor running shoes and after wearing them twice they rubbed the skin off my feet. The staff member said the shoes were not faulty and refused to let me return them. Said it's my fault because I've worn them. I told her it's a manufacturing default and they are not fit for purpose. I can't wear them again unless I want my feet to be red raw and bleeding.

Even though it has a run section, there isn't much to choose from after trainers.

Loads of choice of trainers for all sports and ages. Problem was took ages me wandering round ground floor looking for staff member to obtain different sizes and styles for grandsons trainers. Had to go to security guy on door to ask for someone to came. Eventually a lad sauntered out through internal door. Had no enthusiasm. Looked bored. No customer care.

Went in this morning at 09.45 to get my grandson some trainers and had to wait 10 minutes for someone to came and help us. Then the person who did help us told us if we wanted to try more trainers on just help ourselves not good service at all and the shop was disgusting clothes on the floor and tissue I wouldn't recommend this shop to and it's disgusting and badly run.

Terrible service. Had to search for womens trainers. No signs to say upstairs. Eventually found some sketchers. No staff around to help - waited 20 mins. Asked an employee where the staff were. She turned her back on me and spoke in an intercom machine. Still wouldn't help. She spoke to another female employee who blanked me. Went back to the trainers - one still on my foot. Saw a man there helping someone else. He then asked me what I wanted. I said the other trainer please size 4. He went through a door and disappeared into the Vortex. After 15 more minutes I gave up - took off the other trainer and left. An hour wasted. How will they survive? Worst customer service I've ever had.

Much better than last time I went in. A chap called Z(ee?) was really helpful with kids footy boots
