Went in on Friday dinner time without an appointment. Wasn’t busy till 7ish. Lovely service and authentic food. We had chicken and seafood curry, highly recommend the seafood curry and the stir fried rice. Mango lassi is about £6 but come in a huge jar so very reasonable price overall. The guy who served us just very caring and polite to us.

Awful restaurant. Three of my Nepalese friends and I visited here to try a Nepali taste. We ordered chicken Momo( 2 different types) and they were just horrible, not fully cooked, had lots of flour with less chicken and other ingredients and it was served with a random commercial sauce( usually it is served with a Nepali style sauce made with lots of herbs and spices), when complained the manager( from Bangladesh) said it is not their fault, and we are the first to complain about it, then I asked him about his understanding of MOMO( MOMO have always been my fav food and has tried most of the best momos in Kathmandu and have tried few good momos in the UK as well). After a few arguments, he admitted that they modified it to attract the English guests, which is their main priority. It is OK to modify the dish to match the local demand, but it’s completely unethical to brand it as a Nepalese Momo and make money selling a product that is not even near the taste of what it should taste like. We did not try other food. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN AUTHENTIC NEPALESE TASTE, PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.

Great food and service. We had loads of starters and shared a range of curries between 5 of us. All the food was perfect, and the naan breads were off the planet. Thanks so much guys, we will be back soon !

Amazing Indian cuisine. The food was mildly spicy yet maintained authenticity. Ambiance is lovely with a great service. I wouldn't mind visiting again.

No stars for this place. Terrible, awful and worst restaurant I have ever been to. Momos were the worst, which is what this place should be known for. They were uncooked, 80% of the momos were flour, and 20% stuffing. They were cold. Took 45 minutes to reach our table. Wrong order (half of the order) of momos was served and took another 15 minutes to bring the right ones. For the main course, we ordered GARLIC CHICKEN, ROTI, RICE and TADKA DAAL. Dal had no salt. I mean NO SALT, not less salt. Garlic Chicken was okay but it was definitely not fresh. Was from a day or two before, I am pretty sure. Roti was the only thing that I thought was okay. Service is SUPER SLOW AND BAD. The staff has no clue about what's happening, what's on menu and the order was wrongly taken and wrongly communicated to the kitchen. The Mango lassi that was served to us was split curd. It was bad.

After seeing reviews I thought to try Nepali cuisine and ordered Tandoori chicken and Bharatpur chicken. It was a bad decision to me. 1. Bharatpur chicken - It’s not barbecued chicken in gravy, misleading description. It was just a chunks of frozen chicken in sour cream based gravy. It was not even good and fresh. 2. Tandoori chicken - It was served cold ,definitely not prepared fresh. Not worth the money.Got no chutney or salad with it. Even the packaging is very bad and open.Just 2 small aluminium boxes. Try other Nepali restaurants instead.

Worst Nepalese restaurant ever. After a long day of travelling from Scotland we decided to stop here for dinner. The drinks tasted very diluted. Food took a long time to arrive and was mediocre at best. It seemed like chilly was the only seasoning used. The naan was the only good part of the meal. As a Nepalese person this was the worst experience I’ve had with my cultures food.

Namaste Nepal Restaurant is an absolute gem in Manchester's dining scene! From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warm and welcoming hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with beautiful décor that adds to the authentic Nepalese experience. The food at Namaste Nepal is truly outstanding. Every dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection. From classic Nepalese dishes like momos and tandoori chicken to more adventurous options like lamp curry, the menu has something for everyone. The flavors are rich and bold, and the portions are generous, making it a great value for the price. On addition PASWARI NAN was a true gem in this restaurant, i have never eat any nan like this before. I will buy one everyday for sure. But what really sets Namaste Nepal apart is the exceptional service. The staff is attentive and friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure that every customer has a memorable dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a delicious meal, Namaste Nepal is the perfect choice. Overall, I highly recommend Namaste Nepal Restaurant in Manchester. It's the perfect place to enjoy authentic Nepalese cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with exceptional service and delicious food that will keep you coming back for more.

After many good meals here previously, a really disappointing one this evening. Well over an hour's wait for starters, multiple members of staff with different reasons for the delays. Food ok, although not very hot, when it eventually came out, but nowhere near as good as past visits. Disappointing as we were with friends from outside the area.

Ordered on deliveroo.....absolutely amazing food, flavours are fantastic, the food is fresh.... we can honestly say we've been blown away by the levels of spices in the dishes. The rice's are tasty on their own, the naan bread is just the right amount of fluffy and charred......we've tried quite a few but ordered from namaste a couple of times now so it's a definite forever favourite for us!!!

I was there yesterday for my friend's birthday. Thought give my friends a little bit of taste of Nepal. It was my first time there too so i was nervous for both sides. But it turned out to be great. The food was great. The service was great and staffs were friendly. Had a really great time.

Usually I really like this place but I changed my order tonight and ordered the chef special masala for 15.50. I received my curry in a starter tin. More expensive than my usual dish and half the size and honestly left me feeling robbed.

Disgusting!! Worst experience ever order two different dishes both came marked with the right thing we had ordered but both looked the same and tasted exactly the same. Tasted like chicken curry from a packet were you just add water. We ordered chicken tikka masala and chaat phat with chicken which is normally a dryish dish. Tried to phone them prior to order which I'd made through just eat to be told I hadn't ordered then the order was on its way, they didn't understand what was being said and were passing me from one person to another. Will not order from here again x

First time here. Restaurant was quiet but it was bank holiday monday. The service was excellent, kept making sure everything was alright. The food was really tasty. We ordered 2 garlic nanns and 2 portions of rice between 3 people the portions of rice were huge, could of got away with one.

Great food - haven't stopped thinking about it and jealous that I don't live locally to this restaurant! My only gripe was waiting for a table. Our group was told 5 minutes but it ended up over 45 minutes. Worth noting that this was a Saturday night and they were turning others away, so I suppose we got lucky getting in. Not worth losing a star over regardless

Just had a fab night out at the famous Namaste Nepalese on Burton Road! Were regular customers til we moved out of the area a decade ago, but come as often as we can for the gorgeous Lamb Momocha starter, Chicken Shak-shuka and Bhotowan, Tarka Dhal and Best Naan Breads in the whole country! Turned out it was the full re-opening night, post-refurbishment celebration with free buffet and entertainment, which was a ticketed event, except we didn't have any tickets and hadn't even booked. However, we were welcomed with open arms. We so enjoyed watching the wonderful dancing and were so stuffed when we danced our way out after a fantastic evening. Thank you so much and "Namaste" to Chandhra and all his wonderful team. We'll be back soon. Tony and Margot (Reddish) x

I am a regular at this restaurant, it's my go to place for authentic Nepalese food. The extensive menu includes lots of options for meat, fish & vegetarian dishes & there is also a good choice of drinks available from the bar (including draft beers). There is always a pleasant atmosphere at this restaurant with a courteous & friendly management/staff team. The restaurant has just undergone a stylish refurbishment with a bright new decor.

I tried this restaurant food with my family last night. It is a nice, cosy and good restaurant where the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. We came down from London and were looking to try Nepalese food yesterday and stumbled upon this restaurant on the internet. Highly recommended!

Good food and good humour! Although it was a busy Friday night, we were served in good time. Everything - chicken Karahi, Korma, spinach dish - was copious and beyond tasty. Looking forward to our next visit!

Service wasn't as good as you would expect. The starter arrived fairly quickly. However found my self waiting almost 30 mins after finishing starter for the main course to arrive. When you consider the place was far from full, it was very disappointing. The lamb in the Namaste mixed starter was overcooked and therefore not tender. The glass of house red wine was almost freezing cold. The two main course meals Kahari chicken and Passanda chicken were extremely tasty served up with a generous portion of basmati rice. The naan bread was also delicious. Service wasn't the best. Not sure I would visit the place again. But it was all very reasonably priced.

Went here with my partner on Saturday 6th May. We eat here on a regular basis as we find the food and service excellent. We had poppadoms with a tray of dips, followed by seekh kebab starter which we shared. Our food and drinks order was taken by Jay the waiter who could not have been more helpful, friendly and attentive. For our main course, my partner had a chicken zhalfrezi and I had a lamb karahi. With this, we ordered a pilau rice and a garlic nan which we shared. The lamb karahi is always sensational at the Namaste and they have never disappointed me yet. My partner loved her chicken dish and the garlic nan is amongst the best we've had in any restaurant. Joule, the manager makes a great effort and always goes the extra mile to ensure you are well looked after. The prices are extremely good value, especially in the current economic climate. In summary, we have been going to the Namaste for about 7 or 8 years, I cannot recommend them highly enough and on reflection should have written this review long ago.

Ate here last night and will absolutely be going back. Delicious food, decent portions and really reasonably priced for the area. If you're looking for an unfussy, relaxed environment with good food - this is it! Definitely recommend the momos to start (far nicer than deep fried samosas etc) and the king prawn masala was fantastic. Highly recommended!
