Fab place for lunch! Kid friendly and you can also create some art while you eat/drink! What could be better 😆

Trust the other reviews, this place is a 5 / 5! Excellent service. All the staff are so friendly. And warm. And patient in explaining the entire process! My 4 friends and I spent nearly 4hours there. And we had a wonderful time. The selection of the art to choose from was great! We all found something to paint! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a wonderful place to go Pottery Painting. And just have a good time. Parking super easily available too!

We spent literally the whole day here! We were lucky enough to be allowed to stay beyond our booking to finish our masterpieces and the staff couldn’t do enough for us! Definitely recommend for all ages! :)

What a great place. We were a party of 13, mix of adults and children and everyone had a great time. We all found something we wanted to paint. The food here was ace, couldn't fault it. The service was amazing. I only wish there was one in my area!

walked in when i was in the area (not local) and in need of a coffee. didnt realise the place was very, VERY kids-centered. nothing wrong with that, but is not for adults-only groups. coffee and cake were really good. staff did seem a bit lost but we got there

I brought my son who is nearly 5 for lunch and painted pottery. It was an enjoyable experience and were made to feel really welcome. The food was lovely. I felt safe with the extra measures in place due to Covid, and I liked that we stayed on the one table throughout. The staff were so lovely and really helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend this place and would love to come back again.

Fantastic two hours with my daughter, eating lovely food and painting pots. From the moment we arrived until we left everyone was helpful and very friendly, with such a warm welcome. The vegan chilli was delicious. A lovely 65th birthday present xx

I wanted to visit this place for a while just because I have a little baby girl. As soon as we walked in two ladies I assume mother and daughter asked us if we booked our table (the restaurant had only two people in) . We sat down and the lady gave us a cup with brushes . My little girl wanted to draw but the lady said that have no paper ... Food is overpriced and young people preparing them . Costumer service is not walcoming there what's so ever only one girl was super super nice ( tall and darker skin). Mother and daughter gives this place unwalcoming atmosphere like they don't want costumers there !

I love this place, I’ve been several times and it’s brilliant for taking kids of all ages. The food is tasty and the staff are really nice. I’ve never actually done the painting but I look forward to it when my son is older. I only wish it was bigger as sometimes it is busy, but that’s because it’s so great!

Very helpful staff, reasonably priced and delicious food. Really good family vibes. Definitely my favourite place to take the kids for lunch or pottery painting.

Took child no2 here as a birthday treat to do some pottery painting. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere with excellent food and drink choices. Make sure you book a table as it is quite popular and gets very busy!

The old building was lovely but it's great to see the Bean in the heart of Sale now. Same wonderful food and warm welcome as before. This place is great for kids and does lots of painting/crafty activities 👍

Lovely place for a light brunch or lunch. The coffee is delicious and the food is very fresh and great portions. I got the grilled chicken warm salad which I shared with my mum and still had left over, it was delicious! Great atmosphere, very relaxed and the staff are so lovely and friendly. Inside you can do arts which can be great for kids but also for adults!

This is one of my favourite places to go. It has such a friendly atmosphere, and all the staff are lovely. Plus pottery painting is such a relaxing thing to do. 10/10 fab place.

Booked in 4 adults for a pottery painting session. It was really good fun and was really busy as it was Mother's day weekend. The time went very quickly before we had to vacate our table for the next group; so if you're painting anything large you need to be speedy with your paintbrush. You can order food and drinks to your table if you wish but it is quite expensive. The paying experience to leave your pots is far from good however. There is little space for those dropping and paying for their pots and the queues to get in, overlap those dropping off and as such it doesn't feel safe to leave the artwork, you've just spent the last few hours painting, on the counter. There are several staff members tripping over themselves, some dealing with payment and some with customers arriving. The staff member who served us didn't seem to concerned that 1. Our items would be knocked off or 2. That would all be kept together. We were told they would be ready the following Saturday and I rang in the week to confirm but no checking was done, it was just a standard answer. So turning up a week later, after having rung to find they couldn't find one piece was not a great experience. I was asked if I would come back the next day as they would have to manually go through the paper log of the descriptions. As I wasn't from the area I declined and after half an hour of waiting it was found in another customers collection. I suggested that to improve they should take a photo of the orders and put it into Google sheets document with a description. They all have I pads and Google sheets is free. I hope I have provided positive feedback as it was really good fun but the payment and collection needs improving.

Excellent, coffee was excellent. Our grandchildren painted some small ceramics, variety of colours, they really enjoyed themselves. Staff were very pleasant, tables were cleared and cleaned promptly. Would recommend to anyone who has children.

Lovely food (including great salads, smoothies and Colombian empanadas). A little kids play area. And to paint (and glaze and fire), say, an egg cup was very cheap.

Disappointed. Had to wait over 45 minutes for waffles with bacon and maple syrup and then they arrived cold. Not may I add the usual standard. With the exception of one member of staff, who appeared to know what she was doing, others wandered round in a daze.

We love Bean and Brush 😊 The service is always friendly, there's a lovely atmosphere about the place too. We go for great cake, coffee and milkshakes - you might want to try your hand at making something unique from the choice of plates, cups or pots to paint too 🎨

Visited on pancake day, pancakes where reasonably priced and I could tell a decent recipe. Very nice coffee too! Perfect to go with babies/small children!

Nice place, but wish they hadn't removed the play bit. Was offered ketchup or brown sauce with my scrambled egg on toast, I asked for the brown sauce. Didn't end up getting the sauce which wasn't a huge bother, but upon paying at the end realised they were trying to charge me 30p for it, wouldn't have minded as much if I'd actually received it. The lady taking payment was apologetic and was going to give me the money back but I told her to put it in the tips jar. If it wasn't for the oversight I'd probably have given a significant tip rather than that token gesture. Otherwise a good experience with nice coffee and nice food.

It's one cafe that always delivers beyond my expectation everytime. Firstly, they are kids based theme cafe offer a great ambience for small kids, toddler to young kids as well.. And then, always find something new on the menu every 3-4 months is great to keep trying various dishes..

Not been there for a while. Love the changes and the food was still awesome. Staff super friendly and the kids loved painting a plate each. Still good with the kids being older now (7 and 11). The staff went to great lengths to sort out some clotted cream for a fussy old man like me
