👍👍 Airport breakfast bar,so busy, and the food was medioca. It cost £4.45 for coffee and an almond croissant, which isn't too bad for the airport. Staff are friendly enough and they do have cheese baguettes for vegetarians, but that is all I could see, (I may be wrong). People often mention service, coffee, nice, baguette, good, breakfast, croissant, airport, staff, friendly,

I've seen the stars and truthfully this place should have more stars. I'm always greeted with a smile, and it's worth the wait. The coffees/hot drinks are amazing! And sweet!! 🍫☕🍬 I always go here for my breaks as the food is always fresher and healthier than fast food. If I could nominate a good fast food place with amazing experience with customers, it would have to be Uppercrust 🥖🍞🍩☕

Pleasant enough place to get a snack and a drink, but as with all airport outlets it is quite pricey. Staff are efficient without being particularly friendly.

Sorry to say this but way over priced and the worst tasting coffee I have ever had. Had to throw it away. Shame because last time I was here in June the coffee was nice

Amal the lady that served us was polite, helpful, and efficient. It was a pleasure visiting Upper crust and the coffee tasted really nice too.

Amal knew how to treat a customer. She explained how I could sign up and get a discount on my panini, and was eager to help me. The panini itself was good too. Thanks a lot Amal.

Bought a Tuna Mayonaise baguette at Terminal 1 Upper Crust at approximately 5.45am. Firstly the baguette wasn’t crusty but appeared old. The tuna mayonaise didn’t look fresh when I took it out of the bag. My husband had the all day breakfast roll which was heated at his request. His food was okay. I would have taken the baguette back but a queue was evident, I was a bit hungry as I’d been travelling since 1.30am. The coffee was good but the food over priced , poor quality & not pleasant.

Good point: I was delighted to see that Upper Crust was using sugar in a dispenser rather than in paper sachets. Bad point: When I realised they charged an extra 70p for decaf I went elsewhere. Tip: At Manchester airport Pret charge £3 for a small decaf americano. £3.45 plus 70p...£4.15 at Upper Crust

Salmon and soft cheese baguettes £7.19 and didn't taste nice at all, hardly and salmon. Latte great, cheese and tomato baguette warmed was lovely. Good place to keep phones charged too which is why we always come here.

Possibly the most expensive basic half filled sandwich on offer at Manchester Airport. Shame on you. Should be reported for selling absolute cr@p in a stale stick.

I ordered the all day breakfast. I had assumed it would be hot but it was stone cold inside they said its meant to be cold but they did try to heat it!! Cold sausages and egg is not good

Tuna mayo baguette, which had no mayo that I could see. So dry I only took two bites and threw it away. Tuna didn't even fill the baguette

On my way to aruba and all the rushing made me forget to eat, so once at the airport went to uppercrust- vegan subs absolutely delicious. Paired with Mocha. Service was 10/10 - Amal served me with patience and beautiful smile on her face

Total lack of service and soggy / dry baguettes with hardly any fill (no crust what so ever). Clearly been at the counter for hours. Will be awoided next time.

Possibly the worst cappuccino I have ever had. Badly burnt coffee taste suggests the machine hasn’t been cleaned or the water temperature is way too hot. Probably the latter as it was just off boiling when I got it. Cappuccino is supposed to be a milk-based coffee - this was a watery waste. Avoid for coffee; baguettes are great. 14/03/22

No alternate for people who cannot eat white bread, what a wonderful diverse and helpful place this was... NOT! The bap my daughter did eat was the cheapest tasteless meat you could have tasted!! Don't waste your money, go get meal deal from boots 🤷

I have been there and it was a great experience. Very nice food but there was less halal food. I really impressed by the girl called Khadija she served me. She was really nice, helpful and professional. Really good experience.

There was one piece of chicken in what you call a baguette. Lettuce dressing and thinly sliced bacon made up the rest. The baguette was so light it couldn’t t have weighed more than 100g i’n total. With a cup of tea that was nearly £9. A total disgrace.

  • 4/5 Gill N. 1 year ago on Google
Service was very good, fast and efficient. I ordered an all day breakfast sandwich, the sausage and egg were fine if a little cold but the bacon was virtually non existent.

Just don't!!! 40 minutes to get to the counter. Couldn't even get a simple order for 2 almond croissant and a cappuccino right. And the almond croissant was awful. Stale, sad and about as much like a croissant as my dogs dried food. As I say - just don't.

Great coffee, nice staff and fresh pastry extremely reasonably priced with the special offer that was on

Absolute joke- advertised as free coffee with every breakfast roll. Ordered 4 of each and got charged for both breakfast roll and drinks. When I challenged the person they just looked blank and said it wasn’t in the deal. I pointed to the big screen and he said sorry it wasn’t on his till so couldn’t do it. 10 quid for the worst sausage bap and a mediocre coffee.

The food was expensive but I suppose that unavoidable being at the airport. The service was OK, not great but not bad. The food was pre-made as you get there, you make your choice and the server places the chosen roll in an oven/heater machine until its hot. I had a sausage butty which was OK for what it was. My partner had bacon however and it was dreadful. The 'bits' of bacon were paper thin and in little shredded bits which were about 80% fat. She picked most of it of and I ended up giving her a sausage off my own butty. I wouldn't choose to eat there again

Very nice sausage butty, and pain o raisins, did the job when your hungry, and staff were lovely friendly and efficient.

we eventually got served after queuing for ages wish we hadn’t bothered - bacon rolls tasteless and hardly any bacon on them - requested our free coffees as advertised on the notice board and was refused saying the till wouldn’t accept it ?!?! will never go back

At 09:10 am, no butter was available for a Croissant. How will they manage for the rest of the day? This is basic. Very poor

What makes the difference is the friendliness of the staff. Well pleased with the gentleman serving at around 7.00 am. Tea and croissant . Well done guys

Food was cold. No time to resolve as had to catch flight. When you pay such a premium for food, it should be hot. Very poor

The croissant was so stale and the latte had hardly any coffee in it. I left the croissant it was awful

Chose here for our airport food because of reviews.. disappointed. had to clean our own table . James looked at me blankly when i asked if he could make us up a baguette without salad on...before saying no..just the ones on display. I then watched him make up and replenish the display while we were there so I didn't understand the logic of this. Instead we settled for the ham and cheese which was the only salad free option. When we were ready to place the order he just looked at me...no indication that it was my turn as he was also serving someone else... til i figured it out and asked him. He said please and thankyou but there was no life in his eyes and no smile cracked. I can't imagine working here is much fun but at least take some pride in it. 14 quid for 2 baguettes and drinks and service with a blank stare. Poor.

Absolutely astounding service, a lovely girl named Amal assisting me in choosing my order as I was quite indecisive and I was pleasantly surprised by how quick the service was even though they were quite busy. She was very attentive and honestly a very cheerful soul, I was happy with the recommendation which was a Tuna baguette and my overall experience at Upper Crust. Will definitely be visiting again on my next trip, thank you.
