Picture is not relevant to the coffee, but let me tell you, I was surprised. First of all by whole garden centre, and shortly after by good coffee and dessert in coffee shop. Place was huge (for at least hundred people), clean and well organised with lovely view over back garden. Membership even offer some free hot drinks.

Thought we would have a nice light lunch whilst visiting High Legh garden centre-- which has been really nice in the past, but don't know what's happened of late-- tuna and cheese toastie was so dry, I nearly choked!! Complained and second one just as bad!! Bowl of soup for my husband came in a tiny coffee cup and without any bread- and large coffees (supposedly, or allegedly) ridiculously small for the cost, ( nice coffee though). Spent £30 -- never again!! They need to up their game to compete!! And quite a few diners were moaning as well. Come on management-- get your act together!! It WAS our favourite place to shop and eat!! 😲

A lovely big garden centre with all your gardening needs. A miniature train station for the children and adults to ride on.

We keep returning! Food choices are great. Breakfast served until 11.30am then lunches. Plenty of desserts for after. Not keen on the Rivingtons tea, the service can be a bit slow, but worth the wait. Lovely setting with lots of tables.

Everything clean and tidy with plenty of seating inside. Coffee really good. Comfortable covered outside tables and seating available for those with dogs. Carrot cake moist and tasty, but pricey at £3-50 a slice!

Food lovely Coffee lovely Very busy from 12 noon but queue is fairly fast moving. It is slightly confusing over which queue to join, as one queue was for food plus drink and the other side drinks only. We wanted both, so we were asked to queue on one side for food ordering, then the other for our drinks once our food was ordered.... but further up the food queue when ready to pay we were asked would we like drinks? (Which we specified at the beginning that we did)...bit confusing in all the ordering part.

Do enjoy visiting this cafe. We often use it as a meeting place for family get togethers.

We have always loved the restaurant but we visited in very early Jan 2024 and were served with filthy cups, teapots and milk jugs. I had my cup replaced as I wasn't going to drink out of it. The manager tried to blame the teapot stains on the tea we had spilled but we only had hot water in them to put our fruit tea bags in later. When I poured the milk out of the jug the inside was covered in black mould stains but the manager refused to accept that it was unhygienic and just kept saying it had been through the dishwasher and did not apologise. There is no way the place would get through a hygiene inspection and we won't be using that restaurant any more.

We had lunch here. Lovely fresh sandwiches with salad and plenty of coleslaw. We were tempted by a portion of chips between us. They were delicious. Really enjoyed it. The only downside is we think the regular latte should be bigger for the price. The cafe is lovely and big and staff friendly. Also the scones were lovely

Stopped by to work on a laptop. Tried to stay out of way but twice got approached by staff - first waitress then later security, all while minding my own business. I intended to stop for coffee and lunch in my own time but was consistently hurried to do this on their timescale, despite the place being only half full. Felt very unwanted! Odd feeling. Food and drink was fine, experience was not!

We thought we'd give it another try & were pleased to enjoy a better experience this time. It wasn't busy, so we successfully received our order. Good food at a good price with excellent service.

Slow service, down to the very slow barista. Not great food. Watched one poor guy, obviously out for Sunday lunch, get served a Yorkshire pudding so burnt it was black. Our cakes weren't great. Wouldn't return

Busy but very quick service. Well staffed. Some good options on the menu. Breakfast menu finishes at 11, incidentally.

Good coffee and cake but despite more than enough staff I’ve seen glaciers that move quicker than the queue in front - which was only two!

Food lovely, and staff delightful, but the server on the drinks counter was left woefully on her own. She dealt with customers with grace but she should have had support.

Poor selection of cakes so chose a scone which was dry, crumbly &although a fruit scone it had 3 currants in it.The tea when pouring ,trickled on the table.Scones & sandwich cake was all uncovered. Sadly there was an atmosphere around the till staff. We have been regular customers for many years & since the end of covid close down find the food is disappointing & a menu lacking in choice .

6 of us had lunch here today. 5 of us had our food brought to the table and 1 of us had to wait nearly 10 minutes for theirs. Spoke to waitress and she said they were just preparing it for him. Several people were served the meat pie, which he was waiting for, whilst he waited. When it eventually arrived all the waitress said was 'enjoy'. We burst out laughing at the cheek. No apology for their tardiness. Disgusting.
