A nice establishment, loved the place and all their services. It is easy accessible from nearby places and the facilities are great for a place like this. Cinema and restaurant are very attractive, nice and clean facilities. It was quite before but it has stared to pick up now with a decent footfall. I liked this as this is in the heart of community.

This is a great location for families and younger crowds. It's perfectly located in Didsbury and gives kids something to do.

Soooo busy that you had to queue up. Booked for my bowling slot 4 hours in advance, got there 10 minutes before, only to be told to wait another 30 minutes. I'm a bit disappointed with that. Car park on the rear has no physical lighting visibility. After the bowling games, I went back to the car park only to notice that my car fuel tank had been opened with some fuel taken out which was a bit concerning. I raised alarm at the car park only for a fellow motorist to confirm that it is becoming a regular thing at the car park. I will suggest stores using the car park come together to improve security in the car park for their customers as this might discourage punters in the long run. Hygiene wise for Tenpin needs to be improved as regular checks by the toilet cleaner is necessary. Furthermore, the surrounding eating table needs to be cleared and floors tidied up at regular intervals. I will be visiting again to see if improvements have been made to the above observations.

Always a good time, can get very busy though so recommend choosing an early time to get there.

Well run entertainment centre good offers , bowling is well managed Tuesday's drinks bowling 50% off or bowl unlimited games for a couple around £19. Food typical standard & price for such venues , certainly not the worst fast food, served quite promptly to the aisle. All staff we encounter when we go are polite and friendly. Free parking next to the Parrswood centre is also very convenient .

A great stop off whilst waiting to go to the airport. Prices were reasonable, a range of things to do and only 10 mins from Manchester airport Meet and Greet!

Enjoyed the bowling. Facilities are all available, drinks, food from your lane, etc. Tea is not great from the machine. You need to make cold milk available if the customer wants it.

Great customer service from every member of staff we came across. There was a lovely older gentleman handing out activity packs to all the children. It wasn't busy even though it's the holidays. The cinema was great. Toilets were clean

I booked a bowling party for my daughters birthday. Had a issue as one of the children had a dietary requirement (gluten free) which they could not accommodate, or offer an alternative. the child's parents had to bring their own food, and still had to pay the full cost. The bowling itself was great and the juice, present for birthday girl & small bar of chocolate for each invitee was a nice. However the girl who was helping did not offer any games, dancing or balloon shaping, which I saw other parties having. when i asked her if she could do some games etc she said she didn't know any...it seemed she was new, but still you should ensure the staff are able or trained properly to do the job. Bit disappointing really.

Good bowling alley with a bar, pool, various arcades and gambling machines. not the best value for money. Its just ok and better when your drunk.

Great atmosphere and friendly service as unable to sort ticket on phone but easily assisted. Superb venue with ample parking. Great reclining chairs. Loved Top Gun Maverick!

Good cinema, got xtreme cinema choice too and few restaurants around. Seats could be more comfortable or more spaced out other then that good xperience, free parking available.

Lot of miserable looking staff behind the bar who looked like they didn't want to be there! ! ! Eventually got served by a man who actually apologized for lack of service from his "team" mates. Shame really as it's usually a nice place to go!!

Haven't been here since I was a teenager, gave me goosebumps coming back. Absolutely rammed packed in bowling which didn't make it enjoyable. Staff all stressed out dealing with crazy kids whose parents couldn't care less. Not great

Terrible staff. I came to parr’s wood to bowl with a group of rainbows girls. Staff were rude, unhelpful & slow at service. I asked for a tea spoon to feed my baby as I had forgotten one. Staff told me they wouldn’t give me one. All in all terrible experience

This centre has everything you could need for a great day/afternoon/evening out. Places to eat, a gym, cinema with 10 screens, bowling alley, arcade. It also has places to stay overnight such as Didsbury Travelodge. It is at the huge intersection of Kingsway (A34) & A5145. There is loads of free parking just adjacent to the complex with easy wheelchair and step free access to the main piazza where all the facilities are located. The cinema has a lift, and I believe all other businesses have a ramp, if needed, to access different floor levels. It is a reasonably priced place overall, so accessible to families, adults and young adults alike.

Lots to do and places to eat. Gets busy in holiday season and weekends so plan ahead. Cinema good for families, parties, bowling area next door. Places to eat include 5Guys, Nando's (gets super busy)and few more restaurants. Lots of free parking (think it's four hours BUT CHECK). Have fun!

Had a brilliant family night out. This place suits all ages from 6 upwards. Staff were polite. It was fun! There was a great atmosphere and plenty to do on the Parrswood complex after a game.

Pretty good. I would not select the 4D again, I would go for the iMax. I think most will agree, it's actually a little disruptive to the film ..

Great cinema, and although it doesn't have an IMAX screen, it does have SuperScreen instead which is fantastic 4K quality visuals, a great sound system, and it's huge. Their ScreenX is definitely worth a try too for films with good cinematography and cool landscape shots. All the staff are extremely friendly here too, it's by far my favourite cinema to go to. The only down point I would say is that because it doesn't have a meant screens as other larger cinemas, sometimes it doesn't show less mainstream films at all. They do regularly feature foreign films though, which is much appreciated.

Cineworld at Parrs Wood is easy to access and has Starbucks inside. I always purchase drinks here before heading to watch a movie. Great location for parking and good eateries can be found outside.

Staff very attentive and the bowling lane was ready when we arrived, despite being early. Food was adequate and the kids enjoyed the bowling, a game of pool plus the arcade before leaving. Not too warm in there on such a hot day either.

Came to play pool here and it was great, not too busy, nice bar, lots of space. Thought it would interfere with the bowling but there was none. Had a really great time and the staff were super friendly.

Everytime we go a machine takes our money and does not work, twice the last time we went, when you queue at customer service you get it back but that doesn't help on a 2 player machine as only 1 got to play, plus kids don't like to queue up with you. Service your machines. Have someone on the floor, with all the cash those machines make you employ a floor manager. Your staff are rushed off their feet, but same as everywhere now. It's all about the profit 📈

We come here pretty often for the cinema, but have used the restaurants too, and there is always plenty of parking.

Big complex with lots to do. They have food places like five guys, wagamama and nandos. A cinema, casino, bowling, arcade and pool tables. Big car park and buses stop right outside it. So lots of fun things to do and easily accessible for everyone

This is an area with different activities whether you are alone, as a couple or with the family where you can go to the cinema, restaurant, or have fun at the bowling alley or simply drink a beer and join people playing in the game machines.

Amazing experience. £10 for two games is quite reasonable. And they didn't force us to change shoes 😂

Great little entertainment venue. I went to see Avatar in 4DX. I can't say I was impressed with the 4D as it wasn't for me. But overall a nice experience. Got really cold inside so wrap up as due to the effects it gets pretty windy especially if your watching avatar

  • 4/5 MeTaL C. 10 months ago on Google
Cineworld is always great, go for the 4DX, won’t be disappointed! Popcorn and the hot dog is super delicious, but very pricey, I think it costs double than it should, this is the reason for only 4 stars. Next to it is Tenpin, really cool place with loads of games for almost every age

Its decent for kids to spend a few hours at the cinema, bowling or arcades. Free spacious car park. A few food choices to pick from

Lots of great facilities here from places to eat to bowling and pool, a cinema too. This could be a good stop for families looking to fill the day and there is a range of things to suit any budget. A regular visit for bringing young people I work with

WOW NEVER AGAIN I can't comment on 'Parrs Wood' itself we only went bowling, well tried, ABSOLUTE joke. Half the lanes closed, NO STAFF serving and the place was filthy. MONEY GRABBING PIGS NOTHING MORE Manager offered free drinks as the situation was that bad, the tables hadn't been wiped all day and were covered in hard dry food..

It's a good cinema in total. I brought my granddaughter to see Super Mario Bros. The cinema had 4DX seating. I was impressed. My granddaughter loved the seating and the movie. Bravo.

Great selection of arcade games, bowling, pool and table tennis. Some pool tables are slanted or dysfunctional. Attracts a varied crowd, some unsavoury characters too. Feels generally unclean.
