The premise is beautiful, the staff are friendly. The food is absolutely gorgeous. We were a family party of 10, the speed of service was fantastic so we could all eat at the same time and the food was hot on arrival.

Ok, not terrible but, certainly not good, had mussels, scallops & broccoli to start, scallops were overcooked, rubbery & bland. For main I had this swordfish, aubergine pasta, was better than then starter. I won't eat there again & wouldn't recommend to anyone. Food is inexpensive & some staff are friendly, others are efficient but, stern. All in all, just ok.

We went on a Saturday 29/1 as a party of 11. Honestly it was brilliant. The food was delicious and piping hot. Plenty to choose from to suit all tastes. The service was brilliant and the cocktails were amazing. Thank you

A lovely dinner with great service and delicious food. The restaurant had a great vibe. The service was very good (although I think the waiters need to be given sections, we had 4 or 5 different waiters all cross over each other, asking the same things). The food was delicious, great portions and fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend.

Amazing experience and the starters were very tasty and the main was tastier. Very refreshing and reasonably priced for 4 diners. Quick service with a smile.

Went here for a birthday meal with my family. All the food was delicious and the drinks were great too. Lovely atmosphere but a little loud. All the food arrived hot and at the same time. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Our first visit was so lovely that we came back again, this time with my parents as well as the children! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, all the food was excellent. It's not a child-focused restaurant by any means and I would come here with a group of friends or for date night, but the children (5 and 3) were kindly catered to by immediately taking their orders and serving them first, and they were even given a complimentary scoop of gelato for dessert. Service was both attentive and entertaining! Perfect venue for a multigenerational get-together or any other occasion that calls for good Italian food.

Amazing place. The food was incredible. A bit on the expensive side but worth it, portions are large. The monkfish main was stunning. So was the shellfish and cod. Kids had some amazing pizzas.

Previous Visit: Had Arancini and lobster ravioli which was excellent. (5 Star) This Visit: Decided to go out in Knutsford, checked on TripAdvisor, tried to book in at many places but this was the only place available at the time we wanted. This should have raised a red flag, but i was hoping we were just lucky. Manager took us to our table, got drinks straight away and ordered food. I had the arancini for starters which all three were cold in the middle, they got sent back and another plate was brought out which were ok. Next for the main course, I’d ordered Spaghetti Carbonara with chicken, this arrived with no chicken, I then had to request some cutlery as I had none at that point, I was brought a knife and fork which I really wanted a spoon also, I started eating it and the manager came over and asked if it was too creamy we told him I had ordered with chicken he immediately took the plate away, I still had food on my fork! He then gave me daggers as he walked to the kitchen. He then came back with the dish. We also noticed the couple next to us had been waiting for at least 20 minutes to be served, they later had a calzone pizza but it looked like they were having issues also, it did look uncooked. I have been to this restaurant in the past and it was good, but I’m afraid I won’t be going back. We had been warned by locals that this place was a bit hit and miss.

Lovely staff, great decor. Locals had vandalised the windows but the inside was well-decorated at Christmas. The food was delicious. We had the Seafood Linguine and the kids had Spaghetti. The default seems to be al dente so do let the Chefs know if you want your pasta done any other way. Salads and greens were fresh. Great service - lovely with our young kids. Would come again.

I’ve been to Giovanni’s three times in the space of three days - only because the Capricciosa Pizza was SO delicious, and I wanted to have it again!! On the third night I had the parmigiana di melanzane, and it was fabulous as well. My partner had the minestrone soup and spaghetti bolognese, and he was equally impressed. The food is really very good, and the service is impressive. Especially if you’re lucky enough to have Izzy as your waitress, you’re in luck! She will look after you and make sure that you have the most delightful dining experience. Whenever I return to Knutsford, I will ensure to eat here again!!

Absolutely beautiful food and five star service. Eva and her sister were fantastic servers and very attentive, the little cake with a candle at the end was so unexpected and it really made my birthday. Thank you.

We came in after a walk in Tatton Park on a busy Saturday night without a booking, the host was able to find a seat for us when he could’ve easily turned us away. Lovely pizza and pasta meal split together, the Calabrese pizza is delicious! Delightful staff.

Not sure how this has got 4.5 stars. Not a patch on Gusto or Piccolino further down the high street. Bland, cold food. Reminded me of the school cafeteria. Basic interior. High prices. Complained about meal and got a measly £5 discount, barely worth giving. Staff friendly but other than that won’t waste my time going here again.

Good restaurant for taking kids and a lively atmosphere. Food was nice. Kids Pizzas quite small. Staff friendly and very engaging.

Cannot fault this restaurant. Every time we visit it is absolutely beautiful. Perfect food and the staff are just superb!

Had lunch here today and it was absolutely faultless! Three courses from the special lunch menu. The sauce with the mussels was divine. The lasagna was homemade and excellent. Finally, the tiramisu was probably the best I have had. Will be back!!!

Arrived to a lovely welcome at the door. Greeted with a glass of Prosecco upon being seated. Food was really good. Service was attentive. Will definitely return

Great evening great food which was well priced. Only thing that was a let down was they did not put us balloons out for the birthday that we were there to celebrate as they had promised. Apart from that would recommend this restaurant everytime.

Used to be good food here but not any more, food is to eatable. I have chicken pasta, wasn’t fresh, just left everything but wasn’t anyone care.

Amazing Italian restaurant in the heart of Knutsford. 10/10 recommend. We had the calzone and steak pasta which was beautiful. Lovely and efficient staff.

1st visit ,lovely atmosphere, food excellent,no choice regarding red wine as updating wine list .Our waiter was his own"comedy show",A most enjoyable evening had by all.

We had the sardine starter between us, fabulous and just enough. I had the linguini seafood and John had the white fish & seafood broth. Both excellent dishes and again portion sizes where just right. Bottle of Sicilian white wine went really well with it. Service was excellent and they even had a balloon on the table as it was for a birthday.

Enjoyed sitting outside with friends and our dogs Saturday evening, waiters where attentive, food delicious 😋

Good early bird menu at a reasonable price. Seating closer than 2m. Older waiter wore his face mask below the nose all the time. Pizzas not as good as Pastiche.

We sat outside today and enjoyed drinks and pizza 🍕. The waitress was very polite and helpful and the pizza was very nice . We would go again
