Not a one-stop-shop for reef tank supplies, but stocks the essentials and has a small collection of fish, corals and other supplies. The fish look very healthy, moreso than many other shops that supply marine livestock. As this is only a small shop that is inside of a garden centre, things can get quite cramped - not great if you like your personal space respected. But this isn't the shops problem... The staff have been very helpful every time that we have visited. If this place is local and you need a few common bits and pieces, then definitely try here first.

I have a very small shallow wildlife pond in my garden and wanted to buy plants for it so I went to Maidenhead Aquatics which is inside High Legh Garden Centre near Knutsford to seek advice. What an impressive business! The Maidenhead staff were superb, knowledgeable and able to offer me alternative options that would suit my pond and location. It was a pleasure to take advice from Clare and the other staff and I came away with what I wanted rather than what I could be sold. I'm really impressed and will be going back again. Thanks for making this amateur feel educated and valued.

Great selection of Saltwater, Tropical and pond fish. Store is very clean and the livestock are in good shape. Very helpful staff and good selection of dry goods. Displays are immaculate & inside a very well kept establishment. Would definitely recommend 5⭐

Great experience picking the tank and all plants and ornaments and the fish etc . However after setting up the tank and then going back to pick up the fish a week later. To find out the fish that my son has picked had been sold and had to pick a different one. So don’t get the point of writing our name on the tank and that it’s been sold. Just to go and sell it to whoever comes along

Overcrowded with parents who have taken kids for a day out to see the fish with no aspiration of actually buying anything. Also, a few of the fish we bought died within 3 days of purchase. Not all but a few.

Bought several fish from here half was dead within a week the the others don't look to happy hope they don't infect my other fish Will be shopping elsewhere

Very overpriced for the fish they sell, however they do have some reasonable prices for fish food and Accessories. Overall not worth the visit.

Great helpful staff and very knowledgeable man but dont remember his name. The only thing I feel needs attention is the delivery planning that the garden centre have I feel very unuser friendly as no one seems like theres a system in place to organise it but dont feel this is the fault of Maidenhead Aquatics but could affect their business if not sorted.

Very friendly knowledgeable staff. We went last April to buy pond fish nothing was too much trouble they even took our purchases to the car for us, and before anyone thinks we are old we are not. The fish are growing like mad and are beautiful and healthy.
