I am regular visitor of this store and every time I come in to get some supplies, they're never there. The reptile section never seems to be stocked up. And I've visited months prior to the Christmas period and it still remains the same. I also made a visit the night prior to the picture shown (where live food seemed to have sold out) and live food wasn't available. It's very frustrating and disappointing, as it's the closest pet store to me.

I thought it was great we got my daughter a hamster from there and she is as happy as she has ever been even though we got the biggest cage in the shop she has gone a bit crazy and needs a change so we are still searching on the internet for a bigger cage the hamster is ill with a decease called wet tail but the pet shop insists that there hamster never have that. We also got a hamster play pen that the hamster loved so my daughter when for a shower but by the time she got back the hamster escaped but know is safe but i warn you never get the play pen.

Had booked groom few days before and they've been told about my dogs ear infection. Everything was OK but when we came to the shop we've been told they can't take my dog... absolute joke

Poor quality fish 🐠 / poorly looked after always seems to be the same issues whichever pets at home you go to. More money and profit than looking after the welfare of such animals

Really spruced up the store. Staff are very approachable. The guy that served me was a total gent and absolute gem. Some of the range seems to have reduced during the rejig. But click and collect sorts that out.

My dog had his puppy groom today at The Groom Room and i am very happy with the way he was looked after. Staff are all so lovely. We travelled from Liverpool because we could not get an appointment closer to home. I think we will be bring him here for his grooms. Huge thank you to the team! 👍

Lovely experience, all the staff were friendly and professional from start to finish, and even though it was drawing close to closing time one staff member took time and patience to help us find the right fit of harness for our dog, thankyou 😊

Went to see some animals for the kids first pet. The staff were friendly and we'll informed. The kids got to hold the pets and ask ple ty questions. We should be coming home with our Guinea pigs soon. We got clarity on what the pets would cost to purchae as well as maintain.

The grooming department extremely rude. Very bad attitude and should not represent you as a brand. Colleagues name was Gabbi . WILL NOT Be using this shop again, Serious lack in customer service skills, very abrupt & rude. Would highly recommend an in-house course for manners to improve how she talks to customers before you lose anymore.

The staff are absolutely brilliant, knowledgeable animals lovers. The company however is all about profits with very little interest in animal, staff or customer welfare.

Very short on cat litter today no wooden one at all and a couple of other items were also out of stock, the staff were very pleasant and helpful as always. My granddaughter loves looking at the animals and fish, there were no dogs getting groomed today which she likes to watch when we visit.

This is a very good place to buy pet food/equipment. It is dog friendly. My only real issue would be the prices, they are very high I think. The stores could perhaps sell a better variety of pets as well ie reptiles. The staff are lovely and seem well trained.

The staff here are just so knowledgeable and friendly. I go there for my pet foods and big bags of cat litter. They always carry the bags out to my car with a smile. Truly appreciated and a wonderful service

Despite them telling me how vital it is for a dog to have a stable diet sticking to brands. They never have stock of james wellbeloved no grain fish. Now we are having to turn to other shops. Zooplus have it in stock constantly and its delivered to my door. I try to support the high street but they are not helping the cause. Recently refurbished and very modern although I do find the "do you have one of our loyalty cards" speech every time I go a bit old hat... I see the adverts everywhere you don't need to try and pressure the public into your card trust me we would sooner just buy our dog food and get going.

Easy to navigate shop. If I can’t find something, I ask the staff and they happily assist. Plus, who doesn’t want to look at the little animals!

This store is always well stocked. I get the reptile items. They are controlling the coronavirus restrictions well. I felt very safe inside.

Great shop all ways like going in for some treats for my dog and toys all ways loads too choose from and did I mention they let you take you dog in with you and the staff are all ways friendly and ready to help and kind to your dog to its all ways a nice visit.

The lady I spoke to was very helpful, and gave me good advice on what cage and accessories I needed. However trying to get hold of a guinea pig from here at Xmas and with covid. No chance 🙄

It's got most of what you need, I usually walk here along the canal and back with my Boxer Dog Lucky, parking is horrendous now they are building even more on what was a good footprint for cars back in the day.
