Lovely place with beautiful and a warm ambience. Vegetarian and Vegan options are available - Hummus and Falafel in tapas menu are a must try. Staff’s service can be improved.

Really like the atmosphere and look of this place. Very similar feel to Cosy Club. Relaxed and comfortable seating and pleasant staff. Bonus is dog friendly. Accessible for wheelchairs and children. So much I'm back here now

Lovely place to eat with extensive menu. Vegetarian options available. Burgers were fantastic and full of flavour. Good disabled access. Order and pay at the bar for food and drinks. Recommended.

I've been here several times before the pandemic and it was a pretty nice place to go. Came in today with my son. The place was nicely spaced out and seemed clean. The staff were friendly. However the food I ordered was grim. Maybe I just ordered the worst thing on the menu, but I'd had bacon butty a few times before there and it was pretty nice (I think it used to be in either a breadbun or some nice bread). Today was 2 slices of the cheapest sliced bread and a couple of slices of bacon. It's hard to describe as it just sounds like a bacon butty, but seriously it wasn't nice. Hopefully they just ran out of nicer bread and it's not usually like that, but I'm not going back to check. Was worth about 1.50 max in a restaurant for that. Paid £4.

This is an outstanding place. I love spending hours here just reading my book and having a mean cappuccino. The location is perfect, the interior is eclectic and vintage chic, and their food is never disappointing. The price range is not on the high side, but not cheap either. You have a good choice of tables, and if it's sunny and warm there's also seating outside. Benito is the perfect spot to hang around while you wait for friends or family, or just to bring a date for a meal of the day or drinks, cocktails too. If you're stopping by Chorlton, then visit the Benito. The beverages alone are miles better (and cheaper) than the rubbish they sell on the nearby Costa, proper coffees and cappuccino's. And this is coming from a Portuguese, so I know.

Decent place for coffee and food. Plenty of seating and tables. They have an extensive menu with lots to choose from, and all at reasonable prices. I had the Miami Brunch which was really tasty. I would visit again.

Today is a very special day. My son turned one today. So, to make us all special I decided to take the family for a nice English breakfast. So, decided to try this new place. The interior is very English. The look and feel is very old. Good ambiance. Nice to sit with family or friends. Nice old looking interior. The food was very nice. Freshly made. Overall good experience. Most importantly my family enjoyed.

their "home made" pink lemonade is neither home made nor lemonade. it's just overpriced pink soda water with lemony syrup lying at the bottom. equally overpriced was the tiny handful of sweet potatos. Very disappointing despite the beatiful decor. 👎

Finally decided to try Nordico Lounge after walking passed many times. We were not disappointed. Great, friendly atmosphere, helpful staff. Well organized COVID measures, good social distancing, track and trace and the option to order via your phone to cut down on close contact. Great selection of food, well presented and cooked, with the option of coffee and cake if your looking for something lighter. Do takeaway coffee too. Great experience, would not hesitate to recommend.

I've been here twice. The last time everything was fine. I didn't eat, but had coffee & tea. HOWEVER, the first time I went there 5 years ago, shortly after my food was delivered, a wet & muddy man walked in with his two wet, muddy, rough looking dogs! He got two bowls of water for them, & when they lapped it up, he whipped out a can of dog food & fed them! He was seated next to our table & I feared fleas could jump into our food. We weren't aware they were a dog friendly restaurant/bar, which I'm not against for others, but I personally don't want to eat around animals. It just seems unhygienic. I had to attend a drinks meeting there a week ago & had no choice but to attend. Thankfully there were no dogs this time, otherwise I'd have given the place one star. If dogs, food & drink are your thing, this is definitely the 5 star place for you. Without the dogs, I'd have given them 4 stars.

My boyfriend has recently moved to Chorlton so we have been to Benito Lounge a couple of times, once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times we were really impressed by the quality of food for the price and the service was really quick. It has a really good vibe and friendly staff. I think this will be a regular place for us. Looked promising, but was very disappointing. The interior was nice but that was it. Bar staff were apathetic and unfriendly. Out of key ingredients (on a Saturday !!) so we couldn't get what we wanted Dinner menu was very overpriced for the portion and ingredients Food was cold Even the soda waters came late 😂 Don't get the Mediterranean salad So angry we wasted 25 pounds for the service/ bad food To be fair, it looks like most people go here for breakfast. Maybe that's better ? Hopped on the tram to Withington to go eat again

Fair few items missing off the menu but what we did choose was nice and reasonably priced.

There was 10 of us who arrived without a booking. They accommodated us quickly with no issue. Food was lovely,and reasonably priced, brilliant atmosphere. There was 6 children with the party and they all had a brilliant time.

Its our first visit, we ordered: Lounge breakfast: It came with bacon 🥓, grilled tomato 🍅, baked beans, hash browns, mushrooms, toast, sunny-side-up eggs 🍳, and sausages. The bacon 🥓 wasn't too crispy, but everything else was quite normal, and the sunny-side-up eggs 🍳 were perfectly fried 😻. Bang bang chicken: Turned out to be chicken chunks coated in a peanut sauce, served with stir-fried noodles and vegetables. It had a bit of a fusion twist and was surprisingly tasty 👍😀. Cappuccino and Cafe latte: Both were creamy and gave us a nice caffeine boost 👍. Overall, the restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere 👍, and the food was delicious 😋. Great selection of food for everyone including special diets - gluten free and vegan options. Moderate pricing and there's outdoor seating. It gets busy for brunch as favoured by groups of parent and baby groups, so can get a little noisy. Bring earphones of you're planning the work remotely!

Food was alright for the price we visit this chain regularly but was a first and last for the chorlton one. The staff are so rude there was one woman with short dark hair who was nice but the rest need basic training on manners and how to treat customers. I will travel to another branch in future. Would not recommend at all.

We Booked Benito Lounge for a Christmas meal for 34 of our Scout Volunteers, Katie and the team were fantastic and so accommodating. Food and Service were both fantastic! Thanks for having us!

Beautiful place where take s great breakfast or lunch. It's beautiful and quiet with a good service. Food rounds about 8-13£ plus drinks. Coffees about 3£ with aceptable quality. They have mediterranean style food with options between Spanish and Greece, but also some English options and burgers. They have also few options of alcoholic and non coctails. Drinks comes really fast. Meals take more time, so probably you will need wait about 10-20m.

I would give unlimited stars if it was possible for everything the atmosphere/spirits is just out of this world. There is room for people of all ages! Having been there today we've been so surprised for literally everything. The food is over others such Toby Carvery, Wetherspoons, Beeefeater and many more. Having had a full breakfast you might be well prepared for long journey even as far as John's Grooats in Scotland and Land End on the border of Cornwall/Devon or even far off French Channel. The staff are amazing 👏 the prices are affordable even if you are at the NMW. Don't be a scrouge, support them ,meet up with your friends and be proactive and social. I recommended this spot with no hesitation the only downside that I noticed are cobwebs and the extract fan in gents toilets the rest are of out of scale. To me is exactly the same spirit like in random pubs in Cracow or Warsaw. Let's go there guys. Be involved. Maggie&Peter Manchester

Took my mother in law, my wife and our son her on my wife's birthday for lunch, we had tried to go somewhere else but they were full and we saw this place and decided to give it a try. Food was really good, great selection to choose from. Will most likely be coming here again 😊

Beautiful food as always <3 love the decor, staff is always friendly, very chill vibes always makes you feel welcome. They've got a fairly large menu, but all the food I've had here has been very high quality!

Upon arrival you have to wait at the entrance of the bistro for a staff member. You then tell them you want a table for two. Once inside it's very spacious and vibrant. We ordered two large breakfasts and two coffees. The place was fairly busy for that time of morning. When the breakfast finally arrived it came over nicely presented and I must admit there was plenty on the plate. The two coffees followed shortly after. Would definitely recommend giving it a try, staff were pleasant enough. I will come back for sure, once again Benito thanks for a wonderful service.

Good food and location. Came quickly and staff were friendly. Was quiet when I went on a Sunday but have been before during a weekday when it was busy. It is dog friendly and they have dog treats in a bowl!

Been going to this Benito Lounge since about 2018. It used to be absolutely brilliant . Today was a complete let down in a few ways . The menu has changed (they do this quite often ) the vegan options have been reduced and there are a lot of salads and meat substitutes. My meal looked great but was not , the tapas used to be excellent but now it made me wish I’d not bothered . My friend eats meat and she was exceptionally unhappy with her meal , it didn’t look good at all . Staff were minimum and it was very busy . One member quite curt and my friend found this uncomfortable and wanted to leave but it was too late to cancel our food . No toilet paper in bathroom in any stall . Tables not cleaned from previous customers . Shame really as it was a great place at one time . Picture below of my food but honestly it didn’t taste how it looks . 🌱

It's often pretty noisy here—but it's a biggish place so the sound carries. The food is always fine, although they have taken sourdough off the menu, which means there's lots on the breakfast/brunch menu I can no longer have, sob. The breakfast is always good and the staff are really lovely in my experience :)

Always a great place to come with or without kids. Food arrived quickly every time and quality remains great. They even have complimentary bread sticks and hummus for the wee bears while they wait for their food!

The atmosphere here is very relaxed and chilled, especially if you settle into one of the comfy armchairs in the corners. I especially like the ordering system - just scan the QR code and order over your phone. The bacon sandwich is nothing complicated but who would want it to be? It's exactly what you want for a decent price.

Great local bar, restaurant. The menu is a little unusual. They even have a separate menue for vegans. I go there for breakfast. Service can be a little slow and if you opt for a toasted teacake be prepared to eat it cold.

Had our first takeaway lunch from Nordico today and it was fab! Food was really good (and travelled well), the staff were really friendly and helpful. Ordered by phone then paid on pick up and it was all set out safely. Definitely recommend getting take away from here it was delicious and ready really quickly.

Just been in with my wife and two small children. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is amazing, there's a spot for kids to play. The staff are excellent. This place ticks all the boxes and we will definitely be returning even though we live 16 miles away.

Wanted somewhere to go with the family, which included two kids, one of which is a toddler, we went to Nordico because having been there before I knew it was a nice place, with a chilled out atmosphere, and it's kid friendly (and dog friendly too, which is nice to see). The staff were great, the Coronavirus measures were well done. Can't recommend enough.

the food here is a great price and there are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options which is always great. the decor is cute too. the only issue i had was my food was a little cold but since it was a wrap it wasnt bad. ill definitely be back!

We absolutely love coming here. I have 2 children aged 3 and 4 and they always ask can we go to 'the cafe with the toys', that little childrens area is just brill. The staff are so lovely and make you feel welcome, always make an effort with the kids. Its dog friendly too so my mum can walk up with us with her 2 border terriers. The food is lovely, never had a bad meal and there is a great selection to suit all. I often chose from the vegan menu. Cant fault the place at all.

Very nice place to visit. The service was good, the staff gave friendly smiles whilst serving. They brought the drinks to the table , pretty fast. The place is shabby chic, and has a warm homely feel to it. Theres places for you to lounge with kids, so all in all well thought out, my only criticism, is the art work on the upper floor, but I'm a photographer, not a painter, so who am I to judge.

Amazing burger

Had our community breakfast here today. The food was delicious and good quality, with a good range of vegan, veggie & gluten-free options. Service was a bit of a shambles but they gave a free cup of tea to the lady who waited longest for hers. Background music too loud but they turned it down a bit when we asked. All in all a good experience and I will definitely be going back.
