I had the pleasure to speak with Melanie in the Altrincham David M Robinson store. As soon as I arrived at the store (even without an appointment due to COVID) she was very helpful by letting me try on the different watches which I was interested in and was great to talk with due to her really good knowledge on the different watch models I enquired about. I highly recommend visiting David M Robinson in Altrincham as the staff were great and attentive.

I picked up a surprise gift for my wife today. As with all my previous visits, I was treated exceptionally well by what feels like a family business. A special thanks to James, who took care of me.

August 2019 - Bought a lovely Rolex watch from DMR Altrincham for my partner Jenny today. We were in the store for close on 2 hours trying different models. Diane Norbury was a lovely lady to deal with, friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended! Just wanted to share my experience having recently purchased a Rolex Datejust via David M Robinson. I had visited their Altrincham branch early 2020 to enquire about a couple of watches I had my eye on. I was kindly shown the difference variations I could have and the differences between the watches, really helpful with a hands off approach, I wasn't pushed to make a decision. Having walked in my gym gear, I wasn't looked down on at all, which has happened in other retailers. Covid happened and had to pause the purchase. Recently, I got back in touch with Jackie Salmon, who works out of Altrincham and Manchester, I was after some jewelry for my wife, Jackie was fantastic and took the time to show me what was available and wasn't afraid to make a recommendation, needless to say, the Mrs was over the moon with the selection. Jackie, being the star she is, then got back in touch with me to tell me the watch I wanted was available and she could secure it for me. I had some issues getting in, however, Jackie made sure the watch was secured for me. Went in to pick it up, greeted by Jackie and shown my new purchase, what a smooth process, she really facilitated the realisation of a dream for me, my collection is now expanding. Just to top it all off, I was already over the moon with my new purchase, Jackie then presented me with some additional Rolex goodies, which was really the icing on the cake. I look forward to a long relationship with David M Robinson, in particular, look forward to dealing with Jackie again.

David M Robinson is brilliant, it’s a family owned business and the first step you take inside you get that family feeling, the staff are wonderful and polite. A lovely lady called Melanie Ricks has been looking after me, I’ve even got my own room whenever I visit the branch, Mel is brilliant at her job and helped me and my wife choose our new timepieces. The service she provided was world class. From the first day of ordering until the day of collection she was in regular contact with regarding the status of the watches I ordered. If you visit DMR, make sure you ask for Melanie, I can’t recommend her highly enough. The whole team in fact are fantastic and super friendly.

Had a great experience with the folks in altrincham. Went to a few jewellers previously who tried to give me the hard sell and push for finance. Francesca and the team took their time to talk to me and walk through options without being rushed. Product knowledge was excellent. Absolutely fantastic service, I bought a ring November 2022 from DMR Altrincham and was dealt with by Rachel who from start to finish provided an exceptional customer service. I received a letter this week to let me know that for being a valued customer there’s a complimentary bottle of champagne at the shop as a Christmas gift. I popped in yesterday a year after the initial purchase to be greeted by Rachel who addressed me by my name which I thought was great considering we haven’t had contact since last year and no doubt she has dealt with 100s of customers over the past year. What a lovely branch always greeted with a smiling face and kindness recently had my rolex valued here which was conducted very professionally and then I noticed a small pin had come away from the bracelet they kindly fixed it for me free of charge and reset it for me thanks for being wonderful!

We have had great service at David Robinson’s in Altrincham for nearly 15 years, especially from Sue (who is an old friend now) and Hugh.
