Entering the shop having never had anything bespoke done, I didn’t know what to expect. I showed some Pinterest inspiration to Jo & her team and they listened attentively to what I was after. They remodelled my engagement ring into a more elevated, yet practical forever ring using an existing diamond. I love my ring as it is so unique with my personal style infused in it. I can definitely recommend the bespoke jewellery design service and will have something bespoke designed by them again.

My daughter and I had such a lovely experience with Beth at Hill and Hill. I booked us in to have our ears pierced together and Beth took the time to explain everything and put us at ease, allowing time to choose which earrings we preferred. They do repairs, can make bespoke items, and have a wide range of lovely contemporary jewellery (perfect for gifts) as well as some stunning engagement rings and occasion rings. A wonderful experience with Jo and her staff, so welcoming, understanding and so professional in providing the ultimate in customer service and satisfaction. We presented them with the difficult task of recreating a gold nugget and chain that had been stolen and would require a traditional craftsman jeweller to tackle it. Just want to shout from the rooftops about how fabulous Hill & Hill The Jewellers are. I’m not friend nor family so this really is the most genuine review. They were amazing over the phone on my first enquiry, and then more so when we called in to book an appt. They made up a gorgeous gift box for my daughter with her appt card as her ear piercing was a Christmas gift - complete with glittery star confetti, tissue and ribbons! They were so knowledgeable, reassuring and patient with my daughter, had a fabulous choice of earrings and she had a full 45 minute appointment to herself in a really lovely lounge area and private upstairs studio complete with all the privacy and mirrors every little girls heart would desire. I was even surprised to find this much nicer experience was no more than I was quoted for the shop window experience Claire’s offers. I’ve witnessed several times now the care they have taken in helping customers, choose jewellery for themselves or as gifts at varying price points and would absolutely make them my first choice for purchases in the future. Today I received back my beautiful, sentimental ring which Hill and Hill Jewellers have repaired perfectly. I have been without this ring since the beginning of November because foolishly I went to another Altrincham High Street independent initially who I didn't realise don't repair jewellery themselves they send it off. After weeks of no contact from them about my rings and constantly going in to chase I was told story after story, excuse after excuse about delays due to their repairer moving offices, then Xmas parties etc...but when I did finally receive it back I wasn't happy about one of the claws being raised and subsequently catching on fabric. So off it had to go again to be altered. When it came back, initially all seemed good but then within 24 hours 2 claws which had meant to have been checked had literally snapped off. After returning the ring again and losing complete faith in the initial jeweller I opted to take a refund and go to elsewhere, that being Hill and Hills. Their service has been fantastic, and absolutely second to none. They have been completely transparent in terms of repair times and their customer service has been amazing. No chasing them, week after week, they did exactly what they said they would do and for at least half of the cost of the previous jeweller. They will now be my 'go to' Jewellers. Its OK have prosecco on tap when you walk through the door of a shop, and larger than life characters telling you what they can do, but sometimes this is a misleading front, and I've certainly learnt my lesson. Hill and Hill are professionals in their field and their service, skills and professionalism have proven this today, thank you guys. 😊

Had 3 rings re dipped last week and within 8 days they were back on my fingers even better then when I first got them! I had another ring sent off for a re band and it has come back better then ever. There was a slight bit of miscommunication however they honoured what I was quoted so tipped the lady on the desk for their wonderful service and honesty. I think when things go wrong it’s always about the service provided and I cannot fault them on that. I will now be a returning customer for any of my jewellery needs! Thank you again.

We would recommend the ear piercing service. They were so patient with my very nervous daughter and waited until she'd calmed down and was ready before doing her piercings. I also got my ears done at the same time. Very efficient and friendly service with a lovely range or first earrings. Such a lovely environment to get your first piercings done. Very welcoming staff, lovely jewelry for a good price! They stock Juniper and do needle piercings, just had my 2nd and 3rd lobe piercings done by Bethy and she didn't rush me at all. The waiting lounge for piercings is lovely and comfortable, the best piercing experience I've ever had and for a very reasonable price!

I am petrified of pain and am rating this experience as five star relatively pain free. Bethy and her team know what they're doing and how to do it to ensure you feel your needs are being met. I had four piercings and one was supposed to be in one of the higher pain threshold areas. I was fine, they were professional, prompt and proactive. I recommend! Great job girls!

Hill & Hill is the most amazing jewellers! I'm always pop in whenever I'm in the area. The shop is quirky and unique...so too are the staff. Every time I've been in I've been made to feel like a special customer. Their range of jewellery means that have something to suit all kinds of budgets. Bethy recently helped my boyfriend pick out something for my birthday...I was delighted by the amazing vintage gold pieces he gave me! Thanks guys...can't wait till my next visit!

My granddaughter and I stumbled across this charming jewellers in the last month. The jewellery on display is quite nice, and the prices not so bad. I left briskly after not seeing any masks being worn by the member of staff, which is a shame as I would loved to have looked a bit longer. I have a poor chest at the moment and although I quite understand it is by no means mandatory, it would be very nice indeed if the staff did accommodate older patrons. I do not want to impose and request that anybody wears a mask of course I understand it is their choice. I am intending on visiting again once the rates have settled down. Sincerely, Irene.
