    I have no idea who came up with the app MY GP! It certainly isn’t interested about Patient Care! When your feeling poorly the last thing you are up to doing is type in how badly your feeling all your symptoms and who you’d like to see! If you don’t enter your chosen GP then you actually do get ‘anyone’ there words not Mine! The problem is that the doctor you get to see doesn’t know you from Adam and as quick as your in your out to go away and try something! After you’ve listened to Dr Marsh’s message telling you not to phone the doctors for an appointment you can eventually get to speak to a receptionist the only problem there is They don’t want to speak to you and you have to grovel and beg for an appointment! Oh and reception advise you to go back to My GP even though they hadn’t responded back since the online message in the morning! This clearly could make a patient more ill! What is the answer - do I need to find another surgery after 12 years for my family!!

    I feel deeply let down by this practice. I echo what has been previously said, the GPs are very good but every time I try to use Ask my GP it’s not working, is at capacity etc. Just not fit for purpose. I then rang the surgery and was caller number 20 and finally got through only to be dealt with someone who was abrupt and insensitive. Time to find a practice where I can actually get an appointment.

    Absolutely Disgusting this place, 10 days after surgery still cannot get an appointment with them, Even a doctor from NHS Direct tried getting hold of them. Receptionist even lied to me over the phone telling me there is no requests on the MyGP application. This place need shutting down FAST, Incompetence at its finest

    The doctors are fantastic here - unfortunately it is near impossible to get hold of one. Multiple hour long queues to speak to the reception team only to be told to use the online service which has already closed for the day (supposed to close at 3pm, usually closed by 9am or 10am most days). Not sure what has happened to this practice, it used to be amazing! If anyone is thinking of registering with this practice I would recommend steering clear for now and applying somewhere else until they make some changes. Hopefully they fix things soon.

    Getting through to anybody at this practice is quite simply torturous. If it wasn't for the "insistence" of my wife, I'd have given up 20 minutes ago. I am writing this review, having tried for many hours over many days to get through. The on hold telephone system advising me every 1 second that I am "currently caller number 17 in the queue" should be used to get information out of captured spies. This place has seriously gone down hill since its move to the new building. I get things are more difficult for practices since covid but surely not to this degree and not after 18 months. On a positive note, I am now "caller number 16 in the queue"!!!

    Clinical care is excellent but good Lord in heaven! Trying to get an appointment or talk to anyone is like pulling teeth. Reception team have no empathy and are unsympathetic. The doctors are great but the organisation of this practice needs to be seriously looked at. The practice manager should hang their head in shame.

    This practice still claims to be using the AskMyGP app but it has been offline for weeks now. The recorded voice on theit phone is aggressive and clearly designed tl dissuade you from joining the always lengthy queue to speak to someone. There needs to be an urgent investigation as to what has gone wrong here. I contacted them by e mail over an administrative issue and,3 weeks later, am still awaiting a reply. Update to this, the AskMyGP app is available from 10am but closes when it receives its limit of queries. I ended up having to phone. Although the wait was around 30 minutes, the system does update you on where you are in the queue. The receptionist I spoke to was pleasant,positive and efficient.

    Leaving this review to hopefully encourage the practice to redesign their appointment process, electronic appointments do not work in current format. I think lots are having issues like I am. Should be a lot easier than this, especially with modern technology available.

    This practice is a credit to the NHS as the team is well managed and provides a very efficient and productive service. I have always found that if you are polite and respectful, this is often returned. Well done! Saqib

    I would like to express my appreciation for Dr Tom who has shown exceptional care towards my 99 year old mother. Without wishing to embarrass him, he is a total diamond and the centre is extremely lucky to have him.

    THE best GP surgery in North West. The waiting time is way shorter then anywhere else. You can also book appointments outside of regular hours. My GP - Dr Mian is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. I feel well looked after. Thank you.
