    Kate and the team at Chrysalis are amazing. They have worked incredibly hard to create a warm and welcoming environment to train and progress in. The facilities are head and shoulders above other gyms I’ve been in and all the trainers are approachable. Kate has been my trainer for 5-ish years and have remained attentive and has built a training programme that responded to my needs and adapted it as needed over the years. If you are going to invest in your health and fitness, Kate and the team at Chrysalis are the team should speak to - I’d certainly recommend them in a heart-beat.

    Kate and the Chrysalis space were fantastic at getting me back to training again. After a major op I was nervous about hurting myself and Kate listened to my concerns, helping to rebuild my confidence in strength training, without taking any risks. Her expertise was invaluable and I’m so grateful for the time she spent helping me.

    I've not used Chrysalis but I'd like to leave a review based on my experience, albeit indirect of them.. I parked my big motorbike outside whilst I visited Booths. I'd be riding all day and I was cold and tired. I rocked my bike off its main stand and it slipped away from me and fell over. Without a pause I heard 'is it alright mate'? And someone from Chrysalis ran round the bike and in one heaved it back up. We are talking a good 540lbs of bike. He then checked the bike over. If someone who is so pubxlically spirited works there- I'd happily use their services.

    I have trained with Tim Jeffers for over a year now, and he is a very dedicated and knowledgeable trainer, that takes a genuine interest in your goals and goes out of his way to help you achieve them, whether that be tailored nutrition plans (to the extent of providing meal options to hit macro goals) or adapting workouts to accommodate injuries or mobility issues. He has helped me not only with my training and nutrition, but also with my mobility, taking the time at the end of every session to work on this with me. In regard to Chrysalis, I was very impressed with the breadth of equipment, as well as the relaxed nature of the gym. There is a multitude of free weights and machine weights, all recently installed. The gym might be small, but it is very airy and provides everything needed for a great session. I couldn’t recommend training with Tim Jeffers at Chrysalis enough.

    I’ve been training with Steve Fone at Chrysalis for over 3 years , wanting to be strong and active as I head for retirement. Steve is so experienced in developing a ‘whole package’ covering nutrition, lifestyle, mental approaches to stress for example, as well as tailoring training to suit me throughout various periods in the last few years. He researches and uses his knowledge to prepare individualised training and development plans to suit me at any given time. I’m so impressed and highly recommend him. I cannot imagine how I’d have managed the recovery from long covid without his positivity and understanding. And I’m through after 12 months getting stronger, training harder again, I’d never had done that on my own without his support.

    My Son started sessions with Steve here and the difference in him is amazing. As well as teaching him the correct techniques for training with weights, Steve also mentored him in nutrition and self improvement

    I started working with Steve about 3 months ago and I have noticed much more positive change in my body during this time, than the last year I have spend in the gym doing my own thing. I am training with similar intensity as I have previously, but the results are coming much quicker with thanks to the tips on technique and nutrition, as this was something that was clearly holding back my progress before. Steve is great, he is very responsive of whatsapp and will always find time to answer any random questions I have. We do all of our sessions remotely and the quality of the service provided maked me feel like I am training in the gym with him! I would reccomend Chrysalis to anyone :)

    I contacted Chrysalis as I was in a massive rut with training. Lacking in motivation and confidence in the gym which was starting to effect me in a number of ways. I started training with Tim and was astounded by the impact he had on my training and attitude towards the gym from the first session. Tim made the client onboarding process extremely easy, listened to my concerns and goals and put together a realistic plan. I was seeing results within weeks and had compliments from friends, colleagues ect. I have been empowered by the program Tim put together to enable me to have highly effective sessions even when I train by myself. The gym environment Chrysalis provide is also exceptional. The equipment is great and always extremely clean and tidy. It’s a fantastic place to train.

    It’s great to be able to go to a PT only venue with such great equipment. Steve has really taken the time to understand my situation and the work outs are tailored perfectly to my needs. I have been a member of many gyms over the last 30 years and tried many PTs and this is by far the best set up I have experienced.

    I’ve been attending Chrysalis for 3.5 years now and really appreciate the attention to detail and the personalised programme, which has delivered real improvement in my strength and general health and fitness. Steve is an excellent trainer - encouraging and non-judgemental. He was very creative in developing an achievable (and covid safe) programme even during the various lockdowns of the last two years. The gym is very clean and well maintained and the number of clients training at any one time is kept to a minimum.

    I first met Joel at Hale Country Club around 5 years ago, this man is a legend, he can whip anybody into shape. He keeps you on the straight and narrow and I have been seeing him 3 times a week, this helps me mentally and physically get through life. For a short period of moving from Hale Country Club to his new gym I trained with a different trainer. There are multiple personal trainers about but none that compare to our Joel. I would highly recommend him

    Steve changed my life when it came to understanding not only gym work but what I was putting in my body in terms of nutrition as well as recognising injuries and doing appropriate rehab. With Steve we developed a good relationship with food that I didn’t have before which made everyday eating a lot easier. Learning how different foods make you feel and that way knowing what to cut out to make cutting weight a lot easier. We developed skills in cutting weight and adding weight through cuts and bulks as well as living life and working a 9-5. Not just living in the gym and counting calories. I can’t recommend Steve enough, he really helped me turn my life around and I can’t thank him enough either.

    This is a very good facility with a great set of training equipment. Moreover, the trainers are very knowledgeable, and the sessions contain a lot of nutritional and general guidance. My trainer, Steve, who was a professional national athlete, adopts a strength-building training strategy, but his sessions are complemented by healthy nutrition and lifestyle advice. I feel so lucky to have come across him and to be training with him.

    I've been training at Chrysalis since it opened because Emma is the best and I wouldn't go to anyone else! Highly knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to personal training, she also has the ability to understand individual clients in order to tailor her approach to their specific goals. She has the perfect balance of being motivational and encouraging, whilst at the same time being totally realistic. She also gives great advice on diet/food (again, realistic!) and supplements. She's also great fun and makes sessions enjoyable! As for the gym itself, the equipment is fantastic and being a small, PT only gym it's quiet and personal and there's never a queue for anything! The in-line body analysis is also great for tracking progress. As an added bonus, there's a Nespresso coffee machine - guaranteed to lure me into anywhere! I cannot recommend Chrysalis highly enough, the environment is warm and friendly and all of the PTs are excellent.

    I have been training with Kate and can honestly say i’ve loved every session. Kate is super professional and very knowledgeable, she pushes me to my limits and has my goals always in mind. She has created an incredible gym, with high quality equipment and clean facilities. An added bonus for me is that there is a physio there. Pablo has been treating me for my lower back problems and whilst I have seen numerous physio’s over the years he is by far the best I’ve ever seen! I would highly recommend Chrysalis Fitness 10/10 Thank you Kate for an amazing experience x

    Luxury facility with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Love training with Kate, her style is supportive and educational meaning progress is consistent and achievable. Added benefit of decent tunes whilst you work out!

    Joel has been fantastic!! I can honestly say since joining, Joel has continuously educated me. The whole experience so far has been eye opening and I have felt huge achievements along my journey. Not only that the facilities are second to none, the gym floor, the equipment and the showers are all a dream to use. Such a clean tidy environment it makes being there a pleasure. Highly recommend.

    Kate has supported me over many years, providing excellent advice on exercise and diet that has not only helped me to improve my level of fitness but has ensured that it is sustained over time. Personal training in a modern, well equipped gym facilitates a true sense of ‘time for myself’. The best thing is getting the gentle ‘push’ to do more than I would on my own. Thanks to the Kate and Chrysalis team for their enthusiasm and encouragement for a healthy lifestyle.

    I have been training with Kate twice a week for over a year now. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions & Kate’s knowledge & ability to tailor her training for each clients individual needs is superb. I have suffered with back issues for many years, but since training with Kate I have made a remarkable recovery. My visits to the osteopath have reduced from every few weeks, when I would often be in pain, to once a year for a routine check-up. My back feels stronger & my flexibility has improved enormously.
