Flat white, Tea and lemon drizzle slice. One of the nicer coffee houses in Altrincham. School chair type seating in an open plan area above the store. The cake was delicious and they use an excellent blend for the coffee. There is a lift for disabled and push chair access. The prices are much more reasonable than Costa and the atmosphere is more chilled.

Every time I visit this shop in Altrincham with a view to purchase a book I intend to buy I generally am never let down. I wasn't disappointed this time.

Altrincham Waterstones is the best because its big and has brilliant table displays of latest books. Upstairs is smashing cafe.

Fairly large size Waterstones with a cafe. Children and young adults section upstairs. Really good board games section also with lots to choose from. Friendly and helpful staff who will order your book if they do not stock it.

This is usually a good book shop to visit for it's wide selection of books and a coffee. Staff helpful and pleasant. Currently undergoing refurbishment which means restricted access and stock and no coffee. Look forward to completion of the work.

Good children's selection; fiction rather oddly distributed upstairs and down; till strangely positioned; nice coffee shop; still lots of good reasons to visit.

If you want to get to know a book face to face and have human contact, this is the place to come. Whole amazon may offer a cheaper price, the value of getting out of the house for human contact is priceless. Go down, read, browse and support the real bookshop that us in 3D.

A smaller one than some found in Mcr city centre but that didn't matter as there was still plenty of choice and the store is well laid out and easy to navigate. It was spacious and had plenty of access for those with limited mobility. As with many of the shops in Stamford Qt it was clean and well maintained! There's a nice little cafe upstairs I'll definitely be visiting again and would recommend it if you like books and are in the Altrincham area

A well stocked bookshop over two floors. Lovely, knowledgeable staff. Prefer Waterstones over the likes of Amazon any day.

My granddaughter had a lovely time at the book reading by Harriet Muncaster, with her new book, Isadora Moon, Under the Sea. Very well organised. Thanks to all the staff.

Nice and quiet store prefer this store to the busier stores like Manchester or the Trafford Centre as I find it a bit overwhelming with too many customers around. The staff are friendly not pushy or jump on you as soon as you enter the store asking if you know what your looking for or need help. They also have a cafe upstairs which sells its own cakes but was in a rush on this visit so didn't get chance to sample their delicacies but with half term coming up it's fingers xd that I'll get to visit the store again.

This is a wonderful cafe. The service is always spot on, and the staff are all very friendly. Excellent choice of food available. What makes this tranquil cafe extra special is the peace and calm of being surrounded by so many books.

Went with a friend for coffee and as it turned out cake. Unfortunately there's nothing to heat sandwiches (shame) yet so no hot food. I did get a toasted teacake. But the millionaire shortcake for my friend was lovely. Coffee good we had seconds. The staff helpful and welcoming.
