Today I was in Asda around 6.45pm and I saw there were many people around reduce price area. Suddenly I heard from security person that was there, calling people trying get fruit and veg, shouting very loudly and his exact words were you are F...ING animals repeatedly. There were some other Asda staffs around. As most people were non white, I found it racist talking. We appreciate many people are in financial difficulty and trying to save money to feed they family. This Guy should not work for ASDA or move to some other post.

Just got a delivery, it came late then the driver was 20 minutes before getting the food to the door. Unpacking the food, I found that we had someone else's box amongst ours, while missing 2 boxes. Consequently I had to pick my own boxes off the van myself while the driver complained about working since 3pm (less than 6 hours). I had done a 9 hour shift myself then apparently doing his job too. Not good enough

Shocking shopping experience … much out of stock that we had to go to Aldi to get things … such as no warburtons toasty bread left by mid morning … no prawns … not got McCoys crisps … frozen foods limited stock of what I wanted … profiteroles I wanted out of stock … garlic potatoes out of stock and lots more …. Won’t be shopping here if Asda can’t get the stock in store … lots of others at tills saying the same thing … there are so many better places to shop than Asda altrincham … the dates on fresh food has trended shorter and shorter …. Giving a two star review is very generous indeed !!

If I could give zero I would. It's getting worse here. They only seem to stock the shelves at night so the shelves become empty and a total mess by 5pm. The signs for where things are in the store are total rubbish and the logic to put certain food items in weird areas makes no sense. For example, why put tomato's next to bananas? Surely they should go next to salad like every other store on the planet. The staff are also never helpful, or even happy to be alive to be honest. A member of staff was late the other night and a supervisor was giving him a stern word on the shop floor in front of me and another staff member. No wonder the staff don't want to uphold asda's values if the management team has no decent people skills to manage a team. The management team needs to be replaced.

This has to be worst run grocery store. Staff always look like theyre somewhere else, having their mothers meetings. They also need to check the stock alot more. Bought a packet of mince meat on Oct 17. Wasn't til I got home I saw the date on the packet was Oct 16th. Not the first time this has happened either. Will ensure I check the date in future. The shelves also seen to be bear everyone I go in there. I go after work at 4 and never seems to be anything in there. Don't replenish the stock.

This is a massive Asda! It has everything you could possibly need, groceries, a home section, clothes & a petrol station. There is ample parking to the front and side of the shop so you won't need to worry about finding a space. It is a fair trek from the main road and civilisation so I would recommend driving or getting the bus as walking with a load of shopping isn't fun.

Large shop with nice cafe! You would be able to find there nearly everything! But our last visit was a surprise for us, due to shop had no bags at all. None at all… Not sure 🤔 how this could happen? We managed to fill our boot directly from the trolley… have no idea what people were doing who had no car that day…

Most items are easy to find and decent prices. The problem is your child parking. The amounts of times I’ve tried to park in child parking to get my baby out easily and there are no spaces because single people park in them because it’s quicker or disabled people park in them when there are loads of disabled parking spaces available. I have ended up having to park at the back somewhere I think no one will park next to me because I have to get my son out the car seat and into the pram. Something to think about when poor mums or dads are on their own struggling

Placed a click and collect order for today. Arrived at 12, my slot was between 11 and 12 and had to wait while the customer in front loaded up. Not a problem to us we can wait, people are busy we understand. However didn't appreciate the attitude from the employee who then proceeds to tell me I'm over an hour late. I explained we were not late and we had been waiting in the car park. He was so rude, I really appreciate shops are under pressure at the moment but there really is no need to be rude, please rethink the way you address customers, your mood affects others.

A nice clean store to go and do your shopping in, most of the staff are very friendly people.

This store is just full of staff having a mothers meeting, who are biding their time for retirement or are just there to gossip - regularly ignored at the self serve tills when assistance is needed, having to flag down the staff members all stood having a good old chin wag. Please make customers your priority during your shift times!

Problems are : Queue at the till and self service too long at times Staffs not wearing face masks properly ( mask over the mouth instead of covering the nose) and at the same time talking to each other spreading germs if they are infectious. I noted some customers not wearing masks , last one i saw was a teenager shopping with her mum ( mum wore a mask ). The Manager of the Altrincham Store needs to implement safety rules in the store ( rules need to be enforced ). I think the manager of this store is not doing his / her job properly and needs to be retrained / replaced.

Absolute shambles. People are leaving yet security don’t let anyone else in. Total waste of time. The snare queue barcode is at the front of the queue so you can’t scan that til you reach the front. Poor. Never again.

Awful store! Came in at 5pm tonight to do a full food shop and I asked one gentleman who was unpacking vegetarian products in the fridge area, where I could find a certain product, as the food item I had picked up had been put back in the wrong place and the it had been opened. He shouted at me saying ‘there are gaps all I’ve the store we don’t have it’ So I put my trolly back and walked out and went to Sainsbury’s. Far better supermarket at the moment. People are struggling to get a job and then you have staff talking to customers like this? One word… disgusting

Came here on New Years Day for mine and my fathers shopping. After scanning my items I asked a staff member for 6 carrier bags, to be told there was none. How can a multi million pound company like this have nothing to put your shopping in? As it was 2 separate bills, I had to handball every item into another trolley in order to pay for my next shop, then put 2 seperate shopping transactions into my car, shopping all mixed up. By the time the shopping had been seperated, items were starting to defrost. Would never of shopped here if I would if known there was nothing to put shopping in after spending £170. Turned a 1 hour shopping trip into a nightmare. Shame on you Asda. 1 star is being generous, if I could give a minus I would.

Such a bad store. It has turned into a warehouse on the shop floor. Pallets left in aisles waiting for staff to stock the shelves, unsafe when having kids or elderly people around, an accident waiting to happen. also reduces the space for people to navigate around each other, food items all over the place and not well thought out, shelves are empty, not enough cash options on self service checkouts, when it first opened it was great but has slowly gone downhill, not a great store or shopping experience. Store manager obviously needs more training in how to run the Altrincham branch.

Great store and good price compared to other competitors. You can find almost everything, staring from grocery to utensils, meat and everything you need for day to day activity.

Usually love this asda! However let down by a young boy on security… extremely rude and self entitled for a 19/20 year old, his language is appalling (he swears at the asda staff and customers) it is like watching a play ground bully.

Just a quick shout out for the lovely Peter at Asda Altrincham...after a negative response to a request for a disabled trolley from another member of staff, he went above and beyond to help, even gave me a £10 voucher. Thank you so much, made such a difference xxx

Absolutely shocking service on my last 2 deliveries, ordered £60 worth of groceries on just eat on Saturday and it was 4hrs late and missing an item worth half the total I ordered, never got a refund only credit which I never wanted and now today it's the same story, ordered 3 hrs ago and still not here and they told me an hour ago that the driver was in the store, I asked the last just eat driver why he was so late and showed me his phone with the time he got told about it and Asda was lying, do not order groceries from Asda on just eat as it's shocking how bad the sevice is, never buying anything from that store again and also off just eat

It's an asda full of everything you could ask for for your cupboards or fridge at home. I love the Sushi bar here! Yummy 😋 Keep the prices down ASDA!

The last four visits, all on a Saturday morning, l had to ask for assistance from a staff member to find the price of eggs. Either no price on view or very poorly displayed. Minor complaint but relevant to many.

We bought lots of items to put on the disposal bbq. It went cold after 20 mins so we had to put the food in the oven. Then let down again when we opened the packet of pita bread to find mold. The packet said best before April 2023. It's now the end of May. The entire thing was ruined. We've had to resort to a frozen pizza from somewhere else.

An upsetting experience at the customer service desk last week with a very rude lady who informed me several times that the issue I was complaining about was not the managers fault Had left a note for the manager to call me still waiting

Parking eye ticket for parking for 15 minutes. Don't think so Asda! One star until you cancel it.

I would give it a 0 star if I could. I live locally and have been shopping here (Asda Altrinham Broadheath) for a long time. Today I went there and did over £100 shopping at this store. I tried to collect the Asda rewards using the app and was told the app was down. So I went to the customer service desk (on the 18th October 2022 at 19.56 pm, asking if they could put the rewards in my card (as other supermarkets could do this very easily). The lady at the customer service desk told me that she couldn't do this. I then said I would like to return my shopping from today for a refund instead. To which she said 'I can't do it' and downright refused to refund me, just because I did a 'big' shopping. What shock me the most is that this was within my customer rights to ask for a refund. What Asda did by refusing a refund is illegal (and I will be making a formal complaint about this to Asda headquarter as well as contacting Citizens Advice). Just because the lady was lazy to process the refund, it shouldn't mean that she could refuse a customer of their rights. According to Asda website regarding their refund policy, it states "Our Returns and Exchange policy is designed so that you can return a product if you’re not entirely happy with something. Our friendly and helpful colleagues at the in store Customer Service Desk will help you if you return within 30 days. You can return the purchased item** even if you’ve just changed your mind – so long as it’s in a resaleable condition and in its original packaging. Just return the item to our store, preferably the store where you bought the product and preferably with your receipt or proof of purchase." I did not find this statement to be true. Not only did they refuse to give me a refund, the staff (lady at the customer service desk) wasn't friendly nor helpful. Asda might as well remove this refund policy from their website. I would advise other shoppers to shop somewhere else instead. Update response to Asda store owner 19 Oct 2022: As mentioned above, I confirm the visting time was 18th October 2022 at 19.56 pm. The lady who was at the customer service counter is with black hair , middle age, caucasian.

The amount of times I've ordered a collections from the Sale lockers with issues is a joke. They are constantly having issues with the lockers and today I have been to collect my shopping and only one item is in the lockers from an order of more than 30 items. I'll be sticking to Tesco in future!

This shop is a good one 👍. I like going there and plenty of space in the carpark too! Some people comments , reviews down below is just too silly. 🤦‍♂️

  • 4/5 Mr T. 2 years ago on Google
Store is massive. Always nice and clean. Parking spaces are aplenty. My only gripe about this place is the fuel prices. I believe all ASDA prices should be universal, however an ASDA petrol station one and a half mile away in Sale is charging 4p a litre cheaper. ASDA in Beswick 6p a litre cheaper. Doesn't add up.

  • 1/5 Abu B. 3 years ago on Google
All of the check out staff are amazing, lovely, and helpful. But the others who are some kind of section managers -2 in black jumpers, 2 young men are just lay abouts, chatting from end of the store to another end. Looking and sharing photos from their phones on the shop floor. Whilst I’m looking for an item and felt uncomfortable to approach them, eventually I gave up and asked, after I explained I’ve been all around the store: instead of showing me or directing me oh it’s on aisle number 14..: and they both got back on their phones laughing in stitches... well sorry to interrupt pals, great level customer service and 2 meter distance between yourselves! Definitely keeping yourselves safe too!

Good extra place in Altrincham to go to on Sunday mornings. Odd there is already Spring Season clothing on sale in both the men's and women's clothing ranges yet only Mid February and still winter, there is no real big winter coats on sale any more.
