Would not recommend. Lady didn't seem to know how to take a photo. I only went to get passport pictures done for me and my partner. The lady wasn't friendly or helpful whatsoever. After printing the passport photos and leaving the shop, we went to the consulate. Here we were told they weren't acceptable. We went back to the shop to see what we could do. There was no apology or help, just a shrug and denying responsibility. I payed £20 for 8 photos 4 for myself and 4 for my partner. Money wasted on something we can't even use. I emailed the customer service team and still have received no response after a week. Definitely won't be wasting my money here again.

Many thanks to Ling and her team at Altrincham, my Dad had difficulty progressing his passport application, following a rejected photo taken at the Walkden branch, Ling was very professional and courteous and retook his photo which enabled the application to go through smoothly. The Altrincham branch is extremely busy but staff do well to look after their customers, and satisfy requirements, well done.

I was there on 7/14/2022. There were two very rude and uneducated ladies there, one was old and the other was young, even one star is too much for them, racist and uneducated

Order 7 day prints online to collect in store, as cheaper than buying in the shop. Received no correspondence beyond initial confirmation email after 9 days, so went into Altrincham store for an update. They didnt appear to have any record of my order. The central office sent the photos to print in store. This took some time and several attempts due to issues with one of the printers, but at least they was interest in providing a quality product. If I was to purchase photos from here again, I'd go for the home delivery option, as from what I could gather, the issue was that the initial communication from central office was not picked up by local store. No apology given, and assistant had the audacity to question the price quoted in the original email quote that I showed her.

Good product and service but the shop was too hot. Lady with child before me said the same. Worker should wear a jumper and have the heat at a temperature for customers, not himself

My niece visited the shop 11/12 bought 3 frames and 3 prints was told by staff there was a deal of 10% of was charged £60 when I’ve looked online the frames were only 14.50 each and prints came to £13.50 so was over charged by £3 and no discount applied I used to work in this shop and was never like that should be ashamed ripping young people of

Tom in the Altrincham store merits a special mention. The customer before me wanted 'Missing Cat' posters printed. She was quite distressed and Tom was sympathetic, helpful and very professional. Likewise with me, taking me through every step of 'getting' photos off my phone. Polite; knowledgable; a great brand ambassador.

Visited Max Spiel man today to have some photos produced and framed in preparation for my father’s funeral. The lady who served us (I don’t know her name but she is of Chinese background I think) was exceptional and gave us fabulous advice as well as an amazing service. We would definitely return, especially if she is the one serving us!

Went to Max Spielmann in Altrincham to print an image for a friend's Christmas present. Sarah was an absolute ray of sunshine.... she was really friendly and helped me to select the right size print to fit on my custom frame and mount which I brought with me. She even helped me cut to size and assemble the piece. Thank you so much ... I'll definitely be coming back for my next print.

In a world dominated by online retail Max Spielmann continues to be a great high street presence. The staff in the Altrincham store and super friendly and the quality of their work is excellent.

Great Customer service, Jez managed to get a great passport picture for my 3 years old son, gave him chocolate. She honestly went an extra mile to get us a perfect picture! Could Not recommend them enough. £9 pounds for 4 passport picture, great value for money. We will be back

The camera I bought would not move on. An exchange was given, but this was the second camera to have this problem. The assistant was able to roll the film on, but my elderly mother had difficulty. I would not recommend these cameras for that reason, but service was fine, as always.

Very impressed, I had tried the machines at Boots, but nobody there to help. This was so much better, a most helpful lady sorted out the right size for my strange size photos, so that everything fitted. Guided me through transferring from phone to machine and then fitted my two special photos in frames, carefully cutting to fit. Cost was very competitive, but customer service tops. Recommended for all your photo printing needs, mugs, t-shirts, canvas, slate, phone covers, the lot.
