    Tried ringing several times before going to the shop to see if they had something I wanted in stock. No answer after about 10 attempts throughout the day so went in after work. All staff were just standing about chatting, so purposely called their landline whilst in the shop, I could hear it ringing out loud and was still ignored whilst they just stood there amongst themselves, then had the cheek to come and ask if they could be of any assistance. You could have assisted me by answering the phone to save me wasting a journey. Absolute shambles.

    Shopped in flannels for many years. Always have a great selection and incredible staff ( especially the girls at chester!) today was my first experience in the Altrincham branch. Going with the intention to purchase a few items for my holiday but that did not transpire due to the complete arrogance and rudeness of staff. I was challenged about my health, followed and confronted by the manager. Never experienced anything like this in a store let alone a store that minimum spend is going to be ££££. Considering flannels have a few stores, I’d give this one a miss and go and shop in a friendly environment! Same products - better experience Clowns 🤡

    Never been in the shop before, honestly I wouldn’t go again. The rudest staff, unhelpful and dismissive. Explains the lack of customers!!

    I love this store and specially have to mention Lab who was incredible kind and helpful when I went into the store today and she helped me find my diesel shoes for my holidays and even ensured I had them reserved for me in a different store! Excellent customer service! Will be back!

    I am beyond fuming today after visiting this store in Altrincham. My partner and I were followed round the store like we were theives by a jumped up, barely out of nappies teenager. I'm a 40 odd year old woman who does not need to steal from your store..I will never shop at Flannels again

    Purchased some trainers online although didn't receive the ones I wanted although a very kind lady helped me re order and sort the situation out. Very helpful and kind lady named Lab... Staff very kind here and i felt welcomed. Definitely shop here again.

    I love flannels but I will not shop in this store, the staff are among the most ignorant people I have ever come across I use the crown point store instead lovely staff and much much more stock.

    Wasn’t aloud to try items of clothing on which was understandable but was told about this in a rude manner, then the staff take it upon themselves to follow you around the shop incase you touch another item. Rude staff won’t be returning

    Recently visited this store to pick up a few things for my holiday and was greeted pleasantly at door by the security guard which was a warm welcoming. Served by a lady who was very professional and helpful but seem to not know her name, curly hair and we had a great chat! Will sure be here again. Thank you 👍🏻

    Extremely disappointed with this store. Customer service from the staff is none existent. Terrible how so many reviews state the way me & my son were made to feel today. As we walked in, two members of staff (male & female) were stood near the door, no hello or eye contact at all. The same woman then appeared to be following us! We was made to feel very uncomfortable, we chose not to buy anything today because of this. Then as we were leaving the same staff were stood near the door & was speaking about someone & the older guy, who I'm guessing is the manager said "I'm not being funny but she was overweight" Looking at the other reviews, how an earth are these staff still working in such a high end store.

    I went to Flannels in Altrincham to return a Vivienne Westwood jacket I bought on their website. The intention was to get a refund and browse for some alternative outfits for some events I am attending next week. Frankly I would probably have spent more than the cost of the jacket. I walked into the shop and said 'I bought this online, is it OK to return it here?' the old guy, an assistant on the door, who clearly had taken an instant dislike to me, just said 'no, you've got to send it back to them'. 'I've got to post it back', 'Yes' he said. I left. It's ridiculous that you can't return an item in store - they must get vans going in and out multiple times each week. Most shops don't carry the range you find online, so you need to shop this way, then when you come to return it, you need to parcel it up and post it back - which they ask you to pay for. Fact is the photos of the jacket were online were terrible so I only knew what it looked like when it turned up! Flannels clearly don't value their customers, so I won't ever value them - you just lost a customer, which is a shame as I have been shopping there for more than 30 years. Waste of time.

    I visited this store last Saturday . I was purchasing something for my Nephew and was looked after by the most extremely helpful young boy called Sam. He was so informative and helped me so much selecting my gift. I will definitely be shopping here again , it was a fantastic experience. My Nephew absolutely loved his new top

    It wouldn’t be often I would post a review but I thought this deserved one. Visited this store today and bought a Y-3 cap that I have been eyeing up for a while. I dealt with a very nice lad called Sam. Great customer service and a great chat about football. Thanks again mate.

    Went in the other day, wasn’t sure what to expect. Came in looking for a hat because this cold is getting to me and Labichea recommended a stone island beanie and I love it, I don’t want to take it off. She was very kind and pointed me towards the perfect product. Much appreciated!!

    my experience with flannel is negative. I do not recommend this. I bought shoes from this store. Having put it on once in the supermarket, I barely came home because I rubbed calluses. I cleaned them and went to the store to change them to size 38, but the seller did not take them back, because the sole was not as good as new. I wonder how the outsole can be as good as new if I went out in it? What then are your services and customer support? I regretted 1000 times that I went to your store. I'd rather buy them from Selfridge than from you. I do not recommend you to anyone and will tell everyone how bad you treat your customers.

    Manager (Andy) needs a new job, clearly doesn't like what he is doing and is taking it out on customers. Either that or an intensive course in customer service. Went in earlier today to exchange a gift as it didn’t fit. As soon as I went in, I asked at the tills if I can exchange this and she said yes. She then scanned the item and said there was £95 to be spent. I spent around half an hour looking around the store picking out what I wanted. I had picked out over £350 worth of clothes. Took it to the till, the girl (who was actually very nice) had to get the manager (Andy) to come and do the transaction. He came over, no hello or anything, just asked for the receipt. Tapped away on the store till and then said “this is 2 months old” to which I said okay. He then said he couldn’t do it as I’ve had more than enough time to exchange. He didn’t seem to grasp the fact the gift had only just been given to us, we have not had it since the day it was bought. He said it should have been swapped within 28days. Nowhere on the gift receipt is this stated (as seen in the picture). He then said if it was a week or 2 over, he would have given me a bit off leeway, but in my case not as it’s not worth the trouble he would get from the “powers above”. Doesn't make sense at all, the money was staying in the store with an extra £250+ sale, but no, he was being awkward. His advice was to try selling it on eBay. Obviously I just took my original item and left. Went to selfridges instead for the items. As always, brilliant customer service from the SELFRIDGES staff 👌🏼 Don’t waste your time in this store while it’s being ‘managed’ by Andy 😊

    Rudest staff ever, look you up and down like you shouldn’t be in there follow you round the shop as if you can’t afford the items your looking at why would we be in there then? Complained to a member of staff about how rude the staff up stairs were and there was still no apology. Would avoid

    Avoid this place if you want to buy gift vouchers !!!! Not only do they charge you twice and promise to refund you in 24 hours, and after going to the store a second time to get the refund done in person after 24hrs taking a week and still no money back. It has now been over two weeks and still no refund which is ridiculous and they never answer the phone so you have to drive back to the store to get a refund which is unacceptable, please be warned

    It's a typical Flannels, so it's a well stocked and well presented shop. The downside is the staff. They are aloof, cold and disinterested. They seem to guage wealth based on what you're wearing when you walk in. As someone who likes to dress down when shopping, this seemed to disqualify me for assistance. The old Flannels on Goose Green was much better and I happily spent thousands a year in there.

    Extremely disappointed with my experience, i recently bought a pair of alexander mcqueen trainers, came with no dust bag and no spare laces and the box was mashed, i rang the store multiple times and they never answered the phone, emailed countless amounts of times and they stopped replying, very very very disappointed, don’t bother coming here, just stick to selfridges

    Bought a gift in November for a Christmas gift. Didn’t fit. So returned it on 28/12 didn’t get scanned in until January 13th! Had to wait until the 1st. February for refund. Only to be told they only do e-voucher or exchange! Complete con. DO NOT BUY A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FROM THESE BAST…s

    Purchased some shoes as a gift, and despite asking if they could be returned for a full refund with the shop assistant if they weren’t right, I was only offered a credit note. Buyers beware about the refund policy. I won’t be returning to the store after the credit note is spent.

👍👍 The store is big and beautiful. Everything is very organized. Prices are what you can imagine from Adidas: expensive. The general t-shirts are not bad in price at all from £22-£28. Magnets are £4 as well as keyrings. Very nice quality stuff tbh. Loved it.
