I’ve used this company twice now. First with a Seiko and they did a wonderful job; and then with my beloved Omega. It’s come back like new. Communication is excellent, particularly from Louise who was super helpful. Will definitely use again. Worked out really good value compared to the manufacturer of a high street jeweller (who send them off anyway!). Thanks for the wonderful service. Can’t recommend these enough.

The service that I received from RBP was nothing short of a complete disgrace. My watch was only sent in for a bezel replacement and I was initially quoted a 4-6 timescale for the return of my watch, which I was fine with, but then this was then increased to 13 weeks!! When I questioned this I was told that my watch had been opened and that a complete service / movement change was needed and they would do this free of charge due to all the confusion and the time it was taking to repair/return my watch. My watch was working perfectly when sent, it just needed a bezel replacement, there was no need to break the seal / open my watch and this was never requested. When I finally got my watch back there was no mention of the service/movement replacement work being done and when I questioned this, they said they had not done it! They get you to send your watch to them for no charge but to get it back they charge extortionate rates for the postal return. Seriously, DO NOT USE THEM! There are far better watch repair specialists out there. You can't even raise a complaint as their phone number just takes you to an automated service that has no one to speak to. I'm pretty sure that all of the 5 star google reviews are engineered too, beware!!

Repairs by post have been brilliant from start to finish, constantly keeping you updated with the progress of your repair. My beloved watch, which is 20 yrs old, has come back like new. I am one happy customer. Thank you.

Very happy with the repair and servicing of my 40plus year old Rotary quartz watch. It had laid in a drawer for 30 years and I assumed it would have seized up/battery leaked etc. but I sent it off to Repairs by Post and received it back fully working! Throughout the process you are kept fully informed of the status of the repair, it really is a pleasure to do business with this company. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

A superb service. I thought my watch could either not be repaired or the cost would be prohibitive. Not so with Repairs by Post. Not only did they quote a good price but the kept me informed at every stage of the repair process. I’ve never experienced better.

I am really happy with the service I received from the team at Repairs by post. I received my watch back fully repaired, with the guarantee supplied quicker than I expected. Any questions I had during the process were answered quickly and efficiently either by email or phone. I would happily recommend their services.

After visiting several jewellers without finding anyone able (or willing) to repair my family heirloom (a pocket watch) - sending photos and details to Repairs by Post and I got a quote within days. Easy to arrange - they set up postage and everything for you - repairs were done and the watch fully serviced. Returned by post, extremely well packaged. Included details o repair and full care instructions.

Very satisfied with the service all round. I had some worries about sending my watch by post but it was very well tracked, the other reviews reassuring and repair done perfectly and promptly. Definitely a good, better value service than going to Bvlgari direct.

Excellent service and much more reasonable than many other places. I work local to them so I was able to drop off my watch and when complete, they dropped it off at my work. Obviously this wont apply for most people but it just showed the service level. Communication throughout was excellent. Couldnt be more pleased.

Do not use. Company has gone bust and have still not returned my watch. They are saying I didn't give them a return address but this simply isn't true. I will happily update this review if / when my watch is returned but, for now, I would definitely avoid this company.

Very pleased with the service I have received from ‘repairs by post’. Easy instructions to send off my watch. My watch was sent in for a battery change, but I suspected there was a bigger problem as the battery had only lasted a year since its last change and watch just stopped working. The Dreyfus watch was a 50th birthday present from my wife, so it has real sentimental value unlike most of my other watches. Great communication once watch arrived, assessment complete and a quotation sent online to approve. Payment instructions dead easy. Great communication all the way through the repair process, which was really impressive. Once watch was sent back I was pleasantly surprised to see that the watch movement needed replacing as the old movement was sent back with the watch! Keep up the great service and I will be using your service again soon !

I sent a photo with details of my watch and I was promptly given a quote for the work. The quote was reasonable so I sent my watch in to Repairs By Post. I was regularly updated on its progress and my watch was returned to me in full working order after a few weeks. The charge was as quoted and I am thoroughly delighted with the service and professionalism of this company. Will definitely use agin when needed. Highly recommend. I was a little concerned about sending an expensive watch to an internet based company. I did a bit of research, checked their workshop existed on Google maps and took the plunge. It was a good decision. The obtaining of a quote, information about work to be done and the information on the progress of the repair on their web site, mean that you are kept fully informed at every stage of the repair process. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. If i had another high end watch in need of repair i would use these guys without any hesitation at all.

very good quality service, I've had my watch for over 10years and when it worked it never kept the correct time. So it went in a drawer and stayed there till I decided to get it fixed, tried a few local's first who couldn't help. I then sent it off to Repairs By Post who got back to me very quickly with a quote to repair, gave them the go ahead to fix it and its now back on my wrist as a daily watch. thanks guys for your help.

From initial contact to picking up my watch on completion - yes, I could not wait to get my watch back and it gave the car a run - I was impressed with the professional and helpful service. Admittedly it was only a flat battery but the service was still exemplary. Freepost ensured my watch was with RBP soonest and this triggers a step-by-step report as work proceeds. I was sent an invoice for the work and upon payment the work was carried out. Once completed, I was contacted via email to say it was ready and was given the option to collect it. This I did and met one member of the staff who was knowledgeable and friendly. Altogether, from start to finish, I had no complaints and would heartily recommend RBP for your watch repairs. I will definitely use their services again. Totally recommended.

Repairs by Post are a very reliable company to deal with, providing step by step updates on the repair process culminating in a very reliable repair But quality does not always mean cheap repairs. My watch had to be resealed after a battery replacement and that resulted in £50 plus outcome. You get what you pay for but confidence in this company with your prized processions goes without saying.

I was delighted to find Repair by Post. Having been told by the makers of my wrist watch in Switzerland that they could not mend it I was slightly hesitant in using Repairs by Post. I shouldn’t have worried. The watch is now back with me and working beautifully. Thank you.

Communication from this company was really good and the service was easy to use. You are informed every step of the way. I rejected the quote as it was far too high. I feel if you had a reasonable quote and went ahead with repair you would be happy with this company. If rejecting it seems to be a different story. You take photos and tell them what is wrong. They then do an assessment and give a quote. Funnily enough this matches the photo and a quote could have been given from this. Be sure to check the cost of the return postage: it’s extortionate and seems to be to ensure they make money whether you get a repair or not. I’d recommend getting a quote elsewhere before posting your Apparently the excessive postage and packaging fees is also for a handling fee, which isn’t mentioned at all on the website. The only handling fee mentioned in the T&Cs is for insurance claims (mines wasn’t).
