Professional service, knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices. Sunday opening is a bonus too. What more could you ask from an independent bike shop.

Very quick and efficient service from Steve at Hale Cycle works. The work needed on my bike was completed within a day at a very reasonable cost and now rides like new. Happy to recommend this place for all your two wheeled needs! If the cafe was open when i went i would definately have had a coffee too.

Took my bike in here as Halfords said I needed to make an appointment and I’m so glad I did. Friendly professional service who fixed the issue within a minute. He also fixed the other issues that Halfords had done when putting the bike together. The front wheel was on the wrong way round, the springs on back to front and too much play in the wheel. All fixed by the owner within 5 minutes and did it all for free because I’d already paid Halfords to assembly the bike. 100% recommend and will only use this place for future needs. Excellent place for a breakfast whilst having a work meeting. We both had breakfasts - the Bloc and the Colombian - well cooked and very very tasty. Great staff too who give you great service. Highly recommend!

Really helpful. Went into get a puncture fixed, done in 10 minutes and let me watch about how to change the inner tube myself for if it happens again. Would thoroughly recommend and will be back if anything more complicated goes wrong with my bike!

Had a puncture on a ride, phoned here as it was the nearest bike shop. I was told I could bring my bike straight over. Had a nice chat whilst I was there and I was back on the road in 18 minutes. Will definitely visit again to try the cafe, which looked lovely.

I would highly recommend this cycle repair shop. The engineer Steve is very helpful and very friendly nothing is to much trouble,he is also very good at his job. Far better than going to Halfords.👍

I visited today to get some spare parts for an old Shimano hub, was very helpful and I got all the bits I needed, no trouble at all.

Great interior layout. Extremely clean. Food limited to pancakes and galettes and toasty things. Coffee 3.5/5 but not not scalded like other coffee outlets. One downfall but not wanting deduct a star. Was the food price for a pancake or Galette £8.00 is a bit steep in my experience. London central prices. But all the same tasted great.

Amazing service as always. Steve and Gavin are so friendly and helpful. Will listen to what you need, how much you are able to spend and find the best way forward. A friend of mine yesterday was also saying how awesome they are. We are very lucky to have this bike shop in the area

If I could rate them 0 stars I would, the staff is very rude and unwelcoming. I have had a few bikes serviced here and they came back in no better state than when they were dropped off. Would not recommend in the slightest.

Great friendly service and excellent coffee. Turned up with a buckled wheel, Steve looked at it straight away, adjusted my brakes and pointed out a few other things that needed doing but at no point was there a pushy sales pitch, just good old bike mechanic advice. The coffee shop addition is a must as well, coffee was really great and i am told supplied by a local company in Manchester, the crepes looked amazing and with homemade cakes on offer i might even be able to get some of the family down there while i look at bike products-a win win.

I went in with a chain/gear problem while doing the TPT. I'm not sure there are sufficient words in the English language to describe how helpful Gavin was in getting me back on the road. Suffice to say, in my 57 years I have rarely come across such a good honest decent bloke who provided a truly excellent service. The bad news Gavin is, as you predicted, the chain didn't make it the whole way, so I'll be back in a few weeks to do the route all over again!

Great service .Steve is a really friendly, genuine guy who delivers excellent customer service. Went with my bike purchased on Ebay and was fearing the worst but he did a great job to get it back on track. The girls in the cafe are lovely too so it's a great place to hang out. Sorry Steve I know you're really busy but I've been recommending you to everyone!

Great service and price. Steve completed a mini service, within a couple of hours it was ready. Offered some great advice as I’m utterly clueless when it comes to my bike. So happy to find a place that’s not going to rip me off! Lovely coffee shop too! Thank you, I’ll certainly be back.
