Absolute joke paid £4.60 for a tuna sandwich and they didn’t put any tuna on at all. Was just all salad to make it seem decent sized! Won’t be returning !!!

Unreal experience , who ever that woman is who serves at the counter. Thinking shes better than her punters. is it because it's Hale. Never mind the extra cost of a microwaved soggy sausage roll costing a extra 50p.

The Bake House changed hands a couple of years ago and it is a fantastic local bakery. Great selection of bread, baked on site, especially the Spelt&honey (low gluten). Fantastic array of pies including veggie. A sandwich bar that has a great hot and cold range. As for the cakes, my god, I have to mention the vanilla slice and the lemon bun. We'll worth a visit

great little bakery that has done well to figure out socially distanced collections and order in advance. Great savoury and sweets. Vanilla slice was best I've had by a long way. You should definitely give this place a go for some takeaway lunch. Will definitely be back to support this local business.

Have been a regular customer of the bakehouse for several years as the food has always been delicicious. This is why it's disappointing to see their lack of basic hygiene and safety measures in place during this present time for their customers. They may have a collection point in place to protect staff from people in the shop itself but not the same courtesy for others. Serving food which is in an open fridge counter exposed to the air, staff serving with no face masks or gloves, handling food with bare hands into bags and then handling contactless card reader equipment in contract with numerous credit cards, but squeezing in time to adjust hair or glasses, before returning to the next customer to do the same without hand washing, Food sharply sent to the bin as soon as I was informed of this.

Can’t get enough of this place. The pies, the sandwiches and the cakes are all great. My favourite sandwich is the corned beef with red onion 🤤

Miserable staff. Waited patiently for my food on my 30 min lunch break, only to see people be served their food before me who were behind me in the queue. I think people who live/work near there get served before others before them. When asking if my food was nearly done as i would be late back to work i got a rude and abrupt response. After receiving my food I found the bacon was disgusting and burnt, like hard plastic. So returned to ask for a refund, only for the owner to chuckle with no apology. Disgusting service. Went next door to the chippy instead, getting back to work late. Nice one 👌

We love The Bake House! Staff are so warm and friendly. All the breads are delicious. Our favourite is the GI. Had afternoon tea here for mothers day was amazing. We highly recommend this bakery.

I love The Bakehouse in Hale. The cakes, pies and bread are all delicious, and portion sizes are very generous. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite, I especially like the Scottish lady, she has a very pleasant manner and a great knowledge of the products. Hugely recommended.

Popped in here a few times before work and its good for a bacon or sausage barm. Remember asking for a Gluten free bun once and a woman told me that wasn't possible as all bread is made with flour - gluten free bread isn't but... Apart from that one time rest of the staff are lovely and its a fair price too. Need a better coffee machine though, just a thought for the future. Good Bakery.

What a lovely bakery. My husband loves the lemon buns so I ordered a stack of them for his birthday. When I went to collect, the lovely lady there piped on happy birthday for me. Definitely went the extra mile and my husband was delighted with them. Looks like we will be new regulars 😀
