A hidden gem of a coffee shop! Located just off the canal you are able to enjoy a warm drink and a baked good indoors under the cover of an old refurbished viaduct arch or on a bench just outside and watch rows, runners and dog walkers pass by. Highly recommend this spot for a get away treat on a weekend. Wouldn't be surprised if neighbouring stores started to convert to trendy food shops too and a small market formed in a couple of years.

Found this little gem of a coffee shop when walking along the canal one day and I’m so glad I popped in for a coffee. I was immediately welcomed with good vibes, a chill atmosphere and great tunes. Chris and Harvey are cool guys with the best bants and always have a smile on their face! The coffee is also top notch 👌 would highly recommend

Perfect drink for a summer's day! Really friendly staff, soft seating inside and outside. An amazing selection of their own coffee to drink or take home.

Discovered this charming coffee spot while strolling by the canal, and I'm thrilled I decided to drop in for a coffee. Right away, I was greeted with positive energy, a relaxed ambiance, and fantastic music playing. Friendly staff, full of great banter, and they always wear welcoming smiles. Plus, the coffee here is absolutely excellent! I wholeheartedly suggest paying a visit.

My new favourite coffee shop. It took me a while to come across this place since it opened, but I have been back several times recently. Each time the guys behind the bar are friendly and welcoming and, most importantly, the coffee is great. I have also picked up some of their beans for use at home with good results. Keep up the good work. A couple of additional smaller tables would be a nice addition so those with laptops can work without blocking the big tables.

Awesome find whilst cat sitting for my daughter who lives near by. Great coffee plus tasty snacks. So envious of dog walkers and others who can benefit from this place. Can you open another branch at the other end of the met in Bury?

Really excellent coffee. The baristas are really friendly, give some great advice about how to get the best from your coffee at home. The coffee beans they sell really are delicious. But I cannot emulate the coffee drinks they sell when I'm at home, no matter how hard I try. Best coffee in the area, by quite a long way.

Great little cafe, with excellent coffee, and friendly staff. It's dog friendly, so great for dog walkers along the canal, and has customer toilets too.

The best coffee I've tasted I regularly ride here up the canal for a brew and back to Liverpool. Great lads and a cool place to stop for a break .

Our first visit here after dropping our car off for its service. Friendly guy served us and was very chatty. I had chocolate and my husband had the Americano equivalent ... I've forgotten its name. Really, really tasty and the seating is lovely and comfy. Very busy with what looked like regulars carrying their recyclable mugs. Popular with reason i think. Altogether a lovely break before walking home along the canal. Will visit again!

Dropped in whilst having bike serviced next door. A really great coffee served by a couple of pleasant, chatty guys I'd thoroughly recommend if passing by on canal

The coffee shop is situated in an original railway arch next to a canal path and close to a mixed retail/commercial area. We visited last week and the shop was busy. We ordered coffee and cake and after a short wait these were brought to our table. Unfortunately the coffee was at best lukewarm. I wanted to take it back but my wife didn't want to due to the queue. Another negative point was the general cleanliness. Our table had crumbs left over from the previous customers and the floor needed sweeping. 'Bits' etc under the couches. A shame. Could be a lot better so easily. May have just picked a bad day.

Hidden gem along the canal. Such a lovely place to spend with friends. You could be tell that how the barista made the coffee with care by the one we ordered.

Such a chilled out little Pit stop along the canal, and don't even get me started on the coffee!!!! Honestly one of the best lattes I've ever had, that mixed a peanut butter blondie.... 😍 just writing this is making me consider driving 16 miles for one....

Just found kickback Coffee on Google maps it's a great atmosphere location staff and most importantly the coffee. I got some espresso blend whole bean and it's excellent my new go to. Great for a stop off by the canal or your weird coffee person too

Great vibe, lovely coffee and friendly people. A new coffee spot right on the canal, certainly worth a visit for the caffeine hit. Nice little seating section once things open up again.

Whilst my son was warming up for a football match on the nearby playing fields, rather than stand in the cold and rain, I found this hidden gem was nearby. The Flat White Coffee had a lovely velvety consistency and I spent 10 minutes enjoying this with a slice of chocolate cake before braving the cold and rain again. I’ll definitely be back.

The one thing the area was missing is a decent local coffee shop and thank God kickback opened!! Not only do they roast their own beans (buy their espresso beans at home you won't regret it) they are a lovely little in seated coffee shop by the canal in timperley. Usually we have a little walk from timperley station to the coffee shop and sit down. Their coffee is so smooth, no bitterness our sourness to it and their staff are so friendly! Deffo recommend.

I'd been waiting to pass this place for a while now. Top class, everything that I expected. Its right next to the canal with outdoor and indoor seating. Very pleasantly situated with lots of walkers and cyclists passing by.

Great coffee and very welcoming. The simple industrial style decor fits in perfectly in one of the arches at Broadheath. It was a haven during a wet walk along the canal and our walk became considerably shorter.

My go-to place to get freshly roasted beans and a nice walk down the canal.

A really great shot of espresso from a railway arch by the canal. Great looking cakes and pastries that I did not try but was very tempted. There were brewing their espresso blend which was really nice, sweet and acidic with a really long aftertaste. I didn't love the Guatemalan batch brew but there was nothing wrong with it just not to my taste. Thank you for making my morning walk that little bit better.

Great use of a railway arch! Well located for walkers along the canal. Good to see they are doing well and have new upgraded seating, but the most important bit is that they know their coffee. We bought some beans last time we visited and they tasted great at home as well.

Some darn good coffee and a great new (as of this year) addition to the area! Highly recommend making it a part if any canal walks this winter, I know I will!

Stopped a couple of times now while out for a cycle. Their decaf coffee is by far one of the best I've tasted and 100% recommend. Great cakes and a great seating area. There are benches outside and in nice weather you can sit out side by the canal. Will definitely be back.

Lovely little stop on a long walk down the canal. The coffee was perfect, as was the service. Grab a brownie too, as a treat!

Perfect for the middle of any walk, conveniently placed near the canal. Thier Range of coffee is regularly updated and they use Italian machines for their perfect creations.

  • 5/5 Tomas J. 2 years ago on Google
Not the cheapest, and a little off the beaten track but so, so worth it. The coffee is simply the best around, strong yet smooth. The fact that they roast on site, and that you can buy the beans, and I believe they will grind if you ask, so sometimes you get met by the most amazing coffee aroma just adds to the experience.

Best coffee in Altrincham - big statement I know but the staff (usually Josh) is really attentive so gets it right first time. Chilled atmosphere and not expensive - not charging for oat milk is a treat! Superb coffee!

Great coffee, location, cafe design and staff. I was told they are redesigning the interior so they accommodate more customers at peak times as they are so popular. Highly recommended.

👍👍 Excellent bouldering centre, no longer has auto belays so it's purely a bouldering center. I think it's one of the largest in Europe.
